Kidnapped and Murdered in a Barn! The Disturbing Case of Sierah Joughin. True Crime Documentary.
Sierah Joughin was a young woman who had a hold on everyone's hearts. Her infectious happiness and humorous spirit made her the center of everyone's world.

On July 19, 2016, the Joughin family returned from their vacation and began unpacking. Sierah had some exciting plans for the fall semester at the University of Toledo. Recognizing the importance of DNA evidence, they decided to send it to the crime lab for testing. James inadvertently placing himself at the initial scene of the crime raised significant red flags for the detectives.

James Worley was arrested in 1989 after attempting to take Robin. He was found guilty of abduction and subsequently sent to the state prison in Mansfield, Ohio. Worley received a sentence of 6-10 years. However, due to exhibiting good behavior, he was released three years later. When Robin learned that the man who had tried to kidnap her was released, she was terrified. The fear of James potentially acting again weighed heavily on her mind.

The combination of the disturbing discoveries at the crime scene, as well as the incriminating nature of the collected items, led to James's arrest for the murder of Sierah. Their trained dogs indicated the scent of decomposition, suggesting a potential crime scene. As the crime scene investigators dug, the police made a grim discovery - they found human remains.

One month after the tragic abduction and murder of Sierah, James Worley was indicted on 19 counts, including kidnapping and aggravated murder. Two years later, Worley stood trial for his alleged crimes. Worley was found guilty on all counts related to the murder of Sierah. The severity of the crime led to a sentence of death being imposed upon James Worley.
