Autumn Wildcamping in the Lake District

My friend, Heather, and I headed up to the Lake District last weekend to see all the Autumn colours before they disappear! We first headed to Rydal where Heather went for a freezing swim, then for lunch at Lucia's in Grasmere and then heading over Kirkstone Pass to Patterdale where we started out hike and camp. The evening was pretty freezing and it ended up blowing a gale all night! But nothing beats wild camping, whatever the weather, and we were in the most beautiful location :D
