Got these two beauties and they lived up to expectation. Tomica have good attention to details and sometimes have features such as opening doors and suspension. These two are quality.
Hey everyone, today I'm going to review two Tomica premium cars.
We've got the Toyota 2000GT and the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec 2 Nur, which is the R34.
So let's have a look inside.
So these are two very well-known Japanese cars.
Inside, as usual with Tomica, we get it in a plastic wrapper.
Inside the box, we just get some links to the site itself.
And that's pretty much it.
Usual box art.
It's got some working features, like the door, which we'll have a look at later.
Let's get it out of the way.
And the next one is in here.
Box a little bit squished.
Again, exactly the same paper inside.
Oh my gosh.
So the car just slid out of the wrapper, but here we are.
So let's get these in focus.
Here we are.
So as you can see, let's have a look at the Toyota 2000 first.
Let's get a zoom in. Here we go.
There we go. Nice.
Again, I love Tomica.
Most people know their brand as being very detailed.
They try to be very realistic.
That's without mirrors, though, but it doesn't matter at a scale this small, I think.
And also, they're quite easy to come off, depending on what material they're made in.
They could put some metal ones that stick out, or even here.
I guess it's easier without.
So for this one on the front, you have got this kind of plastic front light,
which I always like to see.
Now let's give it a go with the door.
Nice. So it's quite a long mechanism.
But inside, we can try and have a look.
There we go. You can see the dashboard.
And let's take a look on the other side.
There we go.
So you can see inside, you can see the detail on the seats,
like imitated leather with plastic.
It's a very smooth mechanism.
Okay, so let's see on the bottom.
So we've got here Tomica Atomi.
Made in Vietnam.
Scale 1 to 59.
So it's slightly bigger than a 1 to 64.
So there we go. Lovely.
Now let's look at the Nissan Skyline.
Awesome metallic blue.
I thought that was rubber, but it wasn't. It's just plastic.
So Tomica usually have plastic under, metal on top, and plastic wheels.
And this part is also metal, which is great to see.
Okay, so very smooth mechanism.
Again, opening.
And you can look inside.
I've never actually been in the real car at all,
so I don't know if that was accurate or not.
But maybe if you have, you can let me know in the comments below.
And on this side too.
So there we go.
Again, really nice detail in that.
Really smooth mechanism, opening and closing.
For me, I find the doors opening and closing smoother than the other brand Majorette.
And even matchbox.
It's got this kind of nice snap to it, like a spring-loaded snap.
And on the bottom, 1 to 62, Nissan Skyline.
Made in Vietnam as well.
It's all the way back from 2014, so it's quite a few years on now.
And yeah, both really nice.
You can have a look in detail at the back.
You can see here loads of labels on there,
and they've all been applied.
Really nice.
You can see that slight gradient of the Skyline here, just written across.
Got really good color gradations.
Subtle, but it's still at the same time distinct.
So yeah, and I got this.
It really captured the shape of it really well.
So there we go.
Nice.
Let's get this on the turntable.
Yay.
So you can see 360 all the way around.
Really nicely built.
They definitely look like the iconic cars.
You couldn't mistake it for anything else.
And together, they look fantastic.
What I really like is that the front headlights are not painted.
They're actually just pieces of plastic in,
which I much, much prefer over than just a kind of effect that's been painted on.
Let me try and show you it with the doors open now so you can appreciate it.
Yeah, so these are from the Tomica Premium line rather than just the main.
And for me, I can see a clear difference.
There's a slight upgrading of detail, maybe the paintwork,
the extra kind of labels that have been added on.
It's very quality stuff.
So yeah, give this video a like if you like these cars
and drop a comment below.
Let me know what you think and see you in the next video.
