I look at 2 more Auto World's:
2020 Ford Shelby GT500
Dodge Challenger 2019 Hellcat
The colour of the Ford Shelby is brilliant 👏 love it!
Sadly the Dodge Challenger paint app was a bit scuffed. Also when I tried to open the engine cover of the Dodge Challenger, some paint came off which was disappointing.
Hey everyone, welcome to my channel today. I've got two auto worlds to show you. I'm really getting into this brand now
They're just really cool
so we've got two from
Two modern muscles. I think they're different series though. So let's start off with the early one. This one is
Let's have a look how this problem last time when I wouldn't focus because the packaging
So yeah, okay. Never mind. This one is the
2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in indigo blue
It's got some cool facts. So top speed
199 miles an hour
powered by a
6.2 liter supercharged v8 engine making 707 horsepower and 650 pounds foot of torque
There you go. I how they put the swatch on here just to show you it's above for six years of age
Six plus
Premium series release three version a I think it might have come out in a red as well
Anyway get the cool artwork
Opening hood die cast metal body and chassis rubber tires and it feels chunky and heavy
So on the back got the usual stuff
All the licensing logos and then we have what auto world have released within the same series
so there you go, if you just want to have a look at all that and
Five out of six. These are new castings
Did review done a Cadillac Eldorado review done a Ford GT review done a Ford Mustang
In the future. I've got one
I've got Dodge Viper so that I found an old one which I found to review
But I'm gonna compare that to some other brands like Hot Wheels and Matchbox and stuff just to check it out
So anyway, this is what auto world stand for accuracy detail value
So that accurately scale 164 real size and I'll show some Hot Wheels
Just to compare
What they mean and you can really see it, obviously
And then here we go collect all six in
2021's release three and there are the rest of the models right there. So
That's that one and the one after is this
the Ford Shelby
GT
500 with a carbon fiber track pack
number one, so
premium series again release to
version B I
Think this came in a green or a lime green or other
This is the first release of our all-new 2020 Shelby GT 500 casting
This one includes lightweight wheels made entirely of carbon fiber weighing just 17 pounds each
And it comes in rapid red and our swatch has got like a gradient to it
We can see already. It looks quite beastly. I really like this red
Let's check this out as well. So on the back
Here we go. Here the rest of the cars in the series. There's a list above them collect them all
collection perfection
So this is the Ford Mustang is the new casting in this set
And let's have a look release two so this is this one
Muscle a truck Chevy Silverado Chevy Corvette
Yes, I've done the Chevy Corvette as well in Zeus bronze. That was such a cool cool vehicle
such a great
Paint color it's not even like a color really. It's just it's just like a texture a pattern or
With like anyway, it's hard to describe but okay now that I've done that let's get these open
Okay. So here we go
This they're very useful to put in the storage boxes after
Well, hey the wheels roll on this one. Not all the auto world wheels roll, which is quite disappointing that one does
And that one does not quite fully but enough that's enough for me if they don't roll at all
Not really sucks, but these do so first of all first impressions
this is quite this is heavier than this one and
One thing that other die-cast reviews I've noticed have said is that if you look at the engine hood
Sticks out here. You see this lip and
It shouldn't really be like that. It should you know, it should fit in seamlessly
And then this I don't even know how to even open this to be quite honest
It's I know you can but how do you
Because it's such a tight fit here. And then here you've got this lip that comes out
It's not sharp or anything
but it just juts out and they kind of need to put the hinge a mechanism a bit lower and
This needs to come out. I mean
with atomica I can just
Do this and then it will just pop out but it's not coming out. Really. Maybe I'll try and get that open
And this one. I know this lid comes off because I've seen other reviewers do it, too
but
You know, it's not really sure how to maybe here. Here we go. So that one's alright
So I can open the hood of that and I'll show you a deeper look later on
Let me just try and get this one open
Okay, I tried to have a go off-camera opening this but instead I only succeeded at scratching some of the paint off and I'll show
you what I mean here, so
that bit has come off and
Where is it? There's a slight bit here somewhere
Yeah that bit well that bits come off there. So just try to open it you see but it's not come out. So
That's a real shame. So further in terms of the roll it on this wheel
Why is it look one of the tires is a bit fudged up. I've tried to
Move it around but I think there's something wrong with this tire
It just doesn't slot into place very easily. So auto world if you're watching this
You need to kind of sort these moving parts out really it's just not
Accessible if it's not accessible, you know, and someone's paid for it and all that then
Doesn't really meet expectations. So that's my advice
Okay, let's get back to the model review, okay, let's look at this Ford Shelby first so first of all
Brilliant it's like it's the silhouette the shape the curves everything. It's all here
Let me do the spinning at the end
so
If you look let's get this view all around. So let's look at the engine first. I'm gonna close it so up close
Let's have a look inside as much as we can. There we go
Those of you who know your engine stuff can probably see different bits going on there
side
You can see look, it's supposed to be two white racing stripes, but it's a bit it's like, you know, it's not
It's just not clear really
Yeah
Some paint issues, especially here at the bottom. I'm not sure this white stripe is supposed to reach all the way down to the
this black
bumper part but
Underneath sorry this bit
Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on there. So
Well, I call the headlights they painted on but you know, you've got that typical it's like an eye and then you've got the stripes
Next to it look pretty good
So yeah, it's got that aggressive look. I love this front part really well designed
It's red. It's got this kind of gradient to it. It's like a scarlet dark red mixed with you know, it changes
Yeah, yeah the paint very slick you can see the way the lights are just reflecting off it
from a lamp
Really cool. So again for dioramas, you know, if you're a photographer
brilliant model to use
Really cool
Racing tires very nice
On the side. We've got the like a snake. I like is Cobra and also on the front too. Just like that
So this has been this part of the engine hood has been painted on so it's not some cheap plastic insert
Which is really good to see here are the seats back seats as well
Inside you can see a dashboard
Cup holders even right there
And then towards the back
That's really cool. They made the base
Link the exhaust links to the base
Then the exhaust could have it more depth to it. Like you just need a paint a bit of black in there quite easy
And then this these three like the tree trail tail lights
I'm not sure if they're supposed to be black in between or I've just been splodged red across but
Maybe it would have been nice to differentiate them. I'm not sure. I'll have to double-check if the real vehicle is like that
GT500 start on the license plate. It's not quite printed
Yeah in the paint it's a bit loose
So it could improve on that as well, I think
so
But however, oh, like I said, although it sounds quite critical. I
Really like this model. It's great
You know, it's got the aggressive looks of the real vehicle paint super shiny really nice finish
You know all the details are correct and what I like about is it's got, you know metal metal
chassis and body
Making it a really cool die-cast model
So this is the this is like a plastic
Insert like a carbon supposed to be carbon fiber spoiler
Some some other reviews have said that this pattern could be a bit more refined like the mini GT one
I think I agree. It's a bit bit too wide those stripes on there
It would have been nicer to be a bit finer
But you know, it's not it's not a big deal
So, there we go. That is
the Shelby
Beautiful car. Okay. Now, let's take a look at this Dodge. So from the side, that's a Dodge straight up
You just tell just that silhouette
Really classic. You got the racing tires here
We zoom in you can see this Hellcat design
From the side right there
I've seen some other photographers
Make some excellent photos of this because of the way the sunlight reflects off it really really beautiful
And this as well. Look at these cool eyes
looking at you, so
yeah, I
There's a lot to like about this car. So got the Hellcat on the side here as well
Just it's a really nice indigo blue. It's got like tinges of purple in there. I can see
Great for
You know
Lighting up and taking shots of this of this model. So here on the back
You can see Dodge taillights, Hellcat. It's like, California on the license plate
Yeah, and similar to the other model the exhaust is part of the base, which is a really cool integration
So all in all, you know both of these models really nice
May just get like a sharpie or something and just dab on that just to get rid of that the zamak look underneath
Chipped off that there but overall really cool really happy with that
Let's give these guys a spin. Okay, let's start off for the Dodge. So this is a Hot Wheels Dodge
SRT and
You know, it's not it's not the same model
But you can see from the design like this one's a bit longer. The auto world is longer. So it's true to scale
You know that you're gonna get something which is accurate, which is always good to know
You're gonna get you know rear lights all done and front headlights all done in as well
To complete that look you're gonna get these sort of side indicators here
Yeah, you can really see the difference even though it's not quite the same model
It's just to give you a general idea of what you get really with auto world. Let's take that away
Yeah, so, you know again these auto worlds the paint finish is really nice and you know
If you're a diorama guy and you love to set the sub scenes with little 164 resin figures
And you like to get lighting involved as well. You know, these these auto world cars are really good for that
Okay, let's get the yellow. There we go
Beautiful. I think I like this red more
It's like a kind of dirty red because it's it's red, but then you can see it's darker on some parts
Especially when it changes it in the light and the way it hits it. It's a really good paint job
And you know again, let's just bring in a Hot Wheels have done a recent review of this Ford Shelby 350
Not exactly the same car, but it's very similar, especially the racing stripes as well
And you know, you can see the big difference there again, you know, I think it's like
164, you know some of the differences
The accuracy of how they have to convert it from the real one-to-one vehicle to the 164
Yeah, there's some there's some even if you like 0.1 millimeter off then it's off
You know, it's it's really precise
Production skills involved
So, you know hats off to the auto world for that for making a very accurate model. So there we go
really like both models and
Again all too well if you can fix those things I mentioned in this video, you know, that'll be awesome
You know, it won't stop me buying more
I'd like to enjoy them even more with those fixes
