Can I say I'm cute?
Hello, I'm Ms. Mochi.
Hello everyone.
Today, I would like to talk about the organic sounds k and the non-organic sounds j.
Let's get started.
It's difficult to pronounce organic sounds in Chinese, isn't it?
This time, I would like to do it with k and j.
Last time, I did it with d and t.
If you are interested in this video, please check it out later.
I will put a link in the summary section.
This time, I would like to talk about the pronunciation of organic sounds, especially k.
Where do you pronounce this?
This is a little deeper than the Japanese word kakikukeko.
If you pronounce it like the Japanese word ka, it will be kai.
If you pronounce this like Chinese, it will be kai.
kai and kai are different, aren't they?
The most important thing is to be aware of where you do it when you gargle.
Imagine that you are gargling now.
If you go from the bottom of your throat to the bottom of your throat, this is the pronunciation of k.
And you breathe out from your stomach.
I'll do it again.
This is the pronunciation of k.
If you say it, it's like you're breathing out.
If you go from the bottom of your stomach with that kind of momentum, it will be the pronunciation of k.
This is where a comes in.
k, a, ka.
And the pronunciation of i.
u, ku.
Next, o is k, o, ko.
Finally, the pronunciation of u is k, u, ku.
There is no i in the pronunciation of k and g, so I cut it out here.
The pronunciation of g is almost like the Japanese word gagigego.
ga, gu, go, go.
Let's compare.
First k, then g.
ka, ga, ku, gu.
ko, go, ku, go.
Did you find the difference?
The pronunciation of k is quite breathable.
And it's where you gargle.
If you rub it out from the back of your throat, it will sound like a native pronunciation.
I'll do this in kanji first.
It's like this.
ka, ga, ke, ge, kon, gon, ku, gu.
How is it? Can you hear the difference?
Next, I'll do four words with two sounds.
First, it's a customer.
ku, ke.
Next, homework.
kon, ke.
Next, something I've seen.
kan, go.
And finally, public.
kon, kai.
How is it? Did you get the difference?
I think the sound you use the most is ke, i.
Let's try it together.
ke, i.
Go ahead.
There were two things to be aware of.
Breathing out firmly.
And it's where you gargle.
It's where you rub it out from there.
Let's try it again.
ke, i.
Go ahead.
Very good.
It's short, but I'll say a sentence.
Can I take a look?
Can I look at this?
Let's try it again.
Can I take a look?
Go ahead.
Very good.
That's good.
I hope you all use this k sound.
