Hello everyone and welcome back for this new video, 6th turn of the FIDE Grand Swiss 2023
and this video is dedicated to the best player on the planet, Fabiano Caruana, who in practice doesn't lose anymore.
Dillirean is world champion but he doesn't play, Karzen is losing a lot of Elo lately, he played a bad tournament in Qatar,
instead Caruana starts to believe in him, he wants to become number 1 in the world, like Elo he is already number 2 in the world,
but now he also wants the title of world champion.
Before starting I remind everyone to like and subscribe to the channel thanks to all those who are subscribing, and let's start.
Ok here we are, on the 6th turn, Caruana faces with the white pieces the great master Nayer Evgeny,
with 2648 Elofide points, Caruana opens with e4 pawn, Nayer responds with e5,
he follows Nf3 Nc6 Rc4, italian match, Nayer plays Rc5, which is the most played move in this opening,
Caruana continues with d3, he follows Nf6 Rg5, Caruana attacks the Nf6 knight, attacks the queen in d8 to the x-range,
Nayer immediately questions the bishop, the bishop retreats in h4, he arrives at bishop e7,
this may seem like a strange maneuver, that is, Nc5 Nf7, but it is theoretical, Nayer here simply defends the knight,
he follows Nfg3, Caruana is now attacking the N5 pawn, the black defends with d6 pawn,
he arrives at bishop a4, he arrows, the black is safe, and Caruana develops the knight in d2,
here they are executing the development, they are following a theoretical variant, he follows Nfg6 for the black,
we still remain in theory, but I will show you the time of Caruana,
Caruana in this position has 1 hour 42 minutes 45 seconds when we are at move 9,
so he has 2 minutes and 45 seconds more than at the start, crazy, in practice he is using only the increment,
Caruana is very prepared, he follows a5 pawn, Caruana takes space on the woman's side,
b8 tower for the black, what does the black want to do? He wants to push in b5, he wants to open the b column and attack with the tower,
h3 pawn, Caruana gives a house to the bishop and controls the g4 house, b5 pawn, b5 pawn,
then Nxd5, the special move, b6 pawn, h2 bishop, here Caruana withdraws the bishop,
Nair continues with Nd7, he develops a piece, and Caruana finally puts the bishop with the rook,
now the black tries to play on the king's side, he plays h5 knight, he wants to set an attack,
Caruana develops the N1 tower, he follows Ng5, with what idea?
Meanwhile with Ng5 the black is controlling the f4 house, but the idea is that on Nxd5 he follows Nxd5,
he opens the h column, the black can play Rg7, h8 tower and start attacking on the king's side, it is a possible continuation,
Caruana then does not even capture this Nxd5 but plays Nf1, he follows Nf4, Nf3,
so Caruana tries to improve the position of his pieces, Nfxh2 for Nair, Caruana captures the king,
he follows Nd4, Nair seems to be trying to change the pieces, at least it seems so,
why do I say this? He played Nf4, Nfxh2, now here Nd4 offers the exchange of horses,
Caruana accepts, he follows Nd4, Ng4, in practice the black has doubled the pawns on the d column,
but at this moment he is not risking because it is difficult for the white to attack for example the pawn on d4,
the position remains even, a balanced game, Nair here plays Rg7, Caruana continues with Na7,
Nair enters the seventh cross, he arrives at tower a8, you see, Nair wants to change the pieces,
Caruana captures, follows Nd4 and arrives at g3 pawn, we are at move 23 and nothing has happened yet, a balanced game,
tower a8 for Nair, Caruana here plays the best move of the engine, that is Nf5,
now here the game becomes very interesting, the idea of Caruana is to jump with the knight in e5 and then attack f7,
attack the bishop, he follows the pawn for e5, the knight for e5 and now here the two begin to make some mistakes,
think that for 25 moves both did not make mistakes, he arrives at Qa5, mistake, but not easy to exploit,
the idea of Qa5 is to attack the tower in e1 with Qe2, here there is a move for the white that wins,
Caruana does not find it, he plays Qe4, defends the tower and the game returns to parity,
the move was Qf3 attacking f7, here the black has only one move, that is Qe7,
however, even after this move, he follows the knight for g6 and the white has a very strong attack,
instead after Qf3 and any other move, for example tower for knight, here comes the crazy split in two,
Caruana, however, does not find the move Qf3 in this position, but plays Qe4,
follows knight f6, oh my god, this is also a mistake, this is an even more serious mistake,
indeed this is a very serious mistake, because you do not expect a mistake of this type from a 2648,
since here he follows a practically forced variant, that is knight for bishop, knight for tower,
pawn for tower for e4, what happened? that the white remained with knight and bishop against the tower,
we all know that knight and bishop are worth more than the tower, here is a very strange decision by Nair,
it is also a really absurd decision, 2648 makes such a mistake, but very very strange guys,
he follows Qf3, Caruana attacks the tower, threatens to capture in f7, and on tower f7, for example,
comes Qf6, then QxT, so here Nair has a forced move,
that is Qf5, and Caruana very willingly changes the women, the more the game simplifies and the more the white has an advantage,
he follows Qf5, Nb8, Qf4, Qg4, of course now Nair here could also abandon, but the game goes on,
he follows h5, Caruana withdraws the knight in c6, attacks the pawn in d4,
comes Qg4, Qg4, and now both centralize the king, since the king in the finals is a very important piece,
he comes to tower 1, Rf3, tower in d1, Nair here tries to defend his pawn in d4, but obviously there is a very very simple move in this position,
and this move is Rd3, in this way Caruana is interrupting the communication tower-pawn,
and now he can simply capture the pawn with the knight, because the king cannot come in e5 since he has the knight,
so he is about to collapse the pawn in d4, he is about to collapse the pawn in f4, and in this position Nair decides to abandon,
because in any case he would lose all the pieces, he would only have the tower if he continued, so rightly he abandons,
Caruana then continues to win, he is first in the table, he risks nothing, for example in this game the position was either even or the white was better,
so he is in a great moment of shape, so let's hope that this moment of shape continues for a long time.
