Highlights: Brighton - Ajax | Europa League 23/24

A true Albion legend, Gerry Ryan, the Irishman, as I said, who very sadly passed away earlier this month. He's in a hurry, looking to pick out Matoma. Exceptional ball out to Matoma, and an exceptional touch. Looking into the middle for João Pedro, is that a penalty? Waved away once more. And it goes, towards the back post, Dunk is there. Headed back across goal, maybe to Odingra! Oh, it's just over. Matoma, who just floated out to this near side. A threat to ball into João Pedro with the strike. We know this would be an excellent time to score, just before half-time. And maybe Matoma will do just that. Matoma, save, it's in! João Pedro does it! Well, they've deserved it. They've plugged away all evening in this first half. Gilmour, who just spreads it out now to Odingra. Cuts inside, good work from Odingra. Into Fatih, this time for two! Fabulous from Fatih. Brighton double their lead against four-time European champions Ajax. And what a move to do it. Here's Fatih again! Oh, just wide! This is Berghaus now. Gotta be careful, hit the seagulls. Oh, off the post! And that's it. Brighton and Havalbion thwart Ajax. Their first ever win.
