Hey guys, how you doing?
Dave from Cookin' Chair here.
Today we're doing another easy, nevertheless yummy chicken recipe.
Chicken Teriyaki.
I know you're going to want to try this, so let's get going.
So we're going to kick things off here with half a cup of all-purpose flour.
Season it up with a bit of salt and pepper, and of course, as always, the amount depends
on your taste.
Me, I use about half a teaspoon of each.
Then I'm going to throw in three boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I've cut into
about, oh I'd say, half inch strips.
This is kind of my preference, but you can use any kind of chicken you like.
And give it a really good shake until the chicken is nicely coated.
Then what you want to do is add some oil to a preheated pan.
Put the chicken in.
Fry it over medium-high heat for, oh I'd say about eight minutes or so, just until
it's golden brown.
By the way, if you haven't already subscribed, click that subscribe button, yeah that one
right there, because you don't want to miss a video.
Okay and now that our chicken is beautifully done, we're just going to set this aside in
a bowl.
And in the same pan, you don't want to wash it or anything, because you've got all those
great flavors happening there.
We're going to add in half a cup of soy sauce, a quarter cup of brown sugar, just for some
sweetness, two teaspoons of sesame seeds, and last but not least, some ground black
pepper.
Give it a stir until everything is well combined.
By the way, what happens when you drop a hand grenade?
It egg-splodes.
I know, corny but cute.
Put the chicken back in.
Grab up a couple of spoons and give this a toss, just for about, oh I'd say three to
five minutes, until the chicken is coated with that delicious goodness and the sauce
reduces.
Something like this, so the sauce is thick and the sugar is caramelized a little bit.
And there you have it, our chicken teriyaki.
Wow guys, this is so good, you get that savory taste of sweet and salty, everything's there,
this is definitely a must try.
