Will Smith FINALLY Responds to Jada’s Press Tour

We've had more than just a little bit of power I believe that we are fully existing under a matriarchy and I've made that argument you guys many times in the past and elements of the matriarchy is Destroying things that are traditional destroying things that work and in the end destroying things that actually make women happy Aspiring to marriage aspiring to family looking down on that with your nose. Oh my gosh Don't you just want to be a free woman? You don't need no man. Where my single ladies at? We all know the dance. We all know the song. It was a great song, by the way Just probably should mention that Beyonce wasn't a single lady when she wrote it. That's all about Beyonce She makes all of this music. It's super catchy and it's amazing and women feel empowered by it The truth is is that she's in a very traditional relationship with her husband So, you know she teaches others to do what she's not doing herself because she wants to be fulfilled She's happy in a relationship Well, I'm bringing this up right now because a woman who I wasn't familiar with her name is Samantha Lee Went on a podcast and I'm not familiar with called the hardly initiated podcast and she was talking about her three-year marriage To an R&B singer who I used to listen to very much when I was growing up named Tyrese Gibson So they were only married for three years and then their marriage fell apart and Then they spent the next two years getting divorced. Apparently it was an ugly situation now She's reflecting on that and she has a little bit of regret. Take a listen if I had Different people in my ear at that time. It would not have made that decision No I tried my very best at this point in my life to be what I didn't have in that moment women specifically the There will be moments where they'll be like, I'm ready to I'm ready to be done. I'm ready to be done I'm ready to be done. I can't stand this. You don't do this. You don't do that blah blah blah blah blah We're just focusing on these things. You don't have a certain Person in your life to say to check you and say sis. What about this? What about this? What about these strings? What about what he's not doing that can get you thinking about the positive aspects of this person? That you may not be thinking about when you're upset in those moments You need somebody to be the person for that person Now obviously, this is not an overtly political podcast that you're listening to is probably not political at all But it made me think about politics because I always talk about We speak about really what happens if you follow liberal Ideologies, right if you buy into feminism when you're young and it carries on for too long And I what she's talking about. I know exactly what climate she's speaking of It is women when they get toxic and they are with one another and they think that their life is going to live forever But they need to aspire to be by themselves a climb You know the career ladder that the aspirations shouldn't be family. It should be being bad all by yourself You got it. You got money in the bank. You don't need no man And these are the sorts of women that were in her tribe I'm going to guess largely liberal women who were listening to the liberal messaging that's coming from the mainstream media So rather than her working on her marriage, I mean three years. She should be in the honeymoon phase She was listening to her girlfriends who are making her feel empowered She's in her 20s and basically telling her you don't need a man and of course the difference between your life and your prospects from your 20s as a young woman then When you turn the chapter and go into your 30s It's dramatic. The differences are quite dramatic and I try to explain this to the young women that listen to me I get it I was in my 20s too You feel like every day is so long you're gonna be young forever and you don't have to focus on those sorts of things But 30 will smack you in the face It's a different ballgame totally different ballgame and you know There's this call to settle down and to have a family and now that she's in her early 30s She's recognizing that she achieved that and then turned it down Now Tyrese Gibson saw this clip making the rounds and he responded to it to take a listen to what he had to say and you packed up a one-year-old Put a kovat mask on top of the rain cameras And I was literally in an airplane on my way home to fight for my marriage and my family You're heartless So obviously you can sense a little bit of animosity there He certainly hasn't forgiven her who would if that's really what happened He goes on to talk about how they were not an abusive relationship There was nothing there That would make her want to pack up everything and put a kovat mask on a camera and leave with his one-year-old child other than the fact that she had women in her ear other than the fact that she was likely poisoned by culture to believe That this was her moment This was her Beyonce music video moment and she was gonna show how she could do bad all by herself You know, there's a lesson there There really is and there it's it's one that I talk about all the time That I speak about all the time rather when I speak to young women on these college campuses Pay attention to these cultural examples pay attention to the women that make you feel empowered when you're listening to their music You know Taylor Swift. Everybody loves Taylor Swift except for me Beyonce everybody loves Beyonce and then actually focus on their lives and see whether or not their music is reflecting their lives And if it is reflecting their lives isn't reflecting their lives in a positive manner, right? When you look at them, do you actually believe that these individuals are happy and whether they're whole I understand that they're wealthy, right? I understand that you can earn a lot of money because young women like to hear these sorts of tunes But if it's conditioning you to believe that freedom is some how going to render you happier You are going to be sorely mistaken as you get older, right? Because actually it's discipline that renders you freer, right? I know it's shocking It's you would never guess that you're allowed to stay out of something since social media is so instantaneous And everyone is expecting you to react all the time But he hasn't really been involved until he got involved because he lost some family members recently I'm gonna show you what Justin Amash tweeted. He tweeted St. Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza an ancient church dating back centuries on a site where Christians have worshipped since at least The 5th century has been damaged from a blast The Palestinian Christian community is often forgotten in all the suffering Prayers for the family and friends of those in the community who have been harmed There is nothing wrong with that tweet And of course, I am a Christian and I am sure that any Christians who saw this felt similar We felt that yeah, it's very sad that in the midst of this you're talking about Muslims versus the Jews But you're forgetting that also there are Christians that live here and who are being impacted by it. So he just says prayers Then he goes on and he makes a horrific announcement. He wrote this I was really worried about this with great sadness I have now confirmed that several of my relatives Including Viola and Yara pictured here were killed at st Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza where they had been sheltering when part of the complex was destroyed as the result of an Israeli Airstrike give rest. Oh Lord to their souls and may their memories be eternal Palestinian Christian community has endured so much our family is hurting badly May God watch over all Christians in Gaza and all Israelis and Palestinians who are suffering whatever their religion or creed Again a perfect tweet and he shares the image of the individuals that he lost in his family these two young women Who were sheltering in this church and because it is really airstrike lost their young lives It's very very sad. I Saw these tweets and obviously we're all guilty of it If you can feel some correlation with the story it affects you it impacts you more again. I'm a Christian, right? I'm understanding this I'm reading this and I'm just going how sad it is that Really when anything it seems to me happens to Christians. We're kind of nobody cares, you know It's just sort of like nobody talks about it Nobody cares Christians have fallen out of standing up for ourselves or if there's a worldwide incident happening to Christians It seems like nobody cares. Nobody talked about what's going on in Armenia There was no why isn't everybody commenting on what's happening in Armenia. Nobody cares. So I was impacted by this and I shared his tweets and he shared a video to back up what he was saying He wrote in this video provided to me by a relative on-site. You can see the destruction at st Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza the ancient sanctuary remains standing but the church annex which includes offices and meeting spaces for the Christian community collapsed from an Israeli airstrike killing multiple members of Three connected Orthodox Christian families who are my relatives They are my dad's first cousins and their spouses children and in-laws. May their memories be eternal I want to be clear because I don't want to make this a left or right issue People on the left and the right wrote to him with sincere Apologies sadness grief like a normal human response To understand that he lost family members in this tragedy because of a local Israeli airstrike nobody Blamed it was actually the comments were so kind and overwhelming I mean everyone from AOC far left to people on the rights were saying I am so sorry for your loss it was this rare moment where Politics were put aside and here was the accompanying video that he showed I will talk you through it in case you're listening on this podcast But you can see that exactly what he says is confirmed there is a main church structure that seems to be still standing and then as the camera veers 360 style you see that the buildings next to it are completely crumbled and As if that couldn't get any worse. He then shared a photo of his cousin a Baby being pulled from the rubble and he wrote this This is my second cousin George being pulled from the rubble at st Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza this beautiful baby committed no crimes harmed No person may his memory be eternal now again If you are a human being with a heart your instincts should just be to say I am so sorry for your loss This is horrible, but instead Because we are existing in the midst of political theater people were rushing to try to blame The infant's death on one person or the other I just ignored it and I simply shared his tweets I shared his tweets and I said I was impacted by this as a Christian because that's the truth. Okay Woke up this morning to violence Psychological violence. I had a Ton, but I had a few Jewish people that were in my DMS on Instagram Asking me how dare I share something that is a lie So first people came out the gate and said it's a lie The church is still standing and how do they possibly get away with telling something that is so obviously not true Well, they just showed you the remaining building that's standing right just one still image and this woman tagged me in this I'm not gonna share her name because it's not worth it, but she wrote Propaganda misleading information or lies used to promote a political point of view Shame on you Candace Owens for repeating lies by repeating lies She means retweeting somebody who actually lost his family members absent political commentary Absent any blame just the truth. Okay, his relatives died in Israeli airstrike the caption on the Carefully constructed image says BBC in New York Times yesterday Israel destroyed the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrios in Gaza the church today again Just showing one image absent the 360 view that shows that actually yes And structures did actually fall that were connected to the church The office is exactly what Justin Amash said. He did not try to embellish anything. He was not being theatrical He wasn't being hyperbolic and he certainly was not blaming anybody This was a man that obviously was expressing what he was living through with grief Right Christians responded to that and this upset this woman so she tagged me in this and I Replied to her because I was infuriated that I am NOT allowed to share that a Christian lost some family members at a Christian Church and I said absolutely disgusting you will earn no friends with these sorts of unnecessary lies, you know This is a lie you know that you are showing an image of a structure that is still standing and you're attacking me and calling me a Propagandist because I retweeted a guy who was in pain She wrote earning friends. That church is still sitting tall Israelis have always been a friend of the Christian people shame on you for attempting to divide Your words have consequences Spreading fake news is something that will make people Disrespect you over time. So I'm going to assume the best about this individual and assume that she Genuinely did not know that all you had to do was pan right to see the buildings that fell fall So I sent it to her I sent her Justin Amash's tweets which show the video panning over and all the rubble as well as The child being pulled out of the rubble and then she just went from telling that I was a liar and it was propaganda And that no such strike happened and the church was standing tall and she's blaming the New York Times for lying about this and blaming Me a Christian for sharing this information To instantly changing her story, right? There's no point I said I actually wrote her keep Christians out of the dirty propaganda where we're not interested in it Okay, we're actually just trying to mourn the fact we lost someone and then she hits me with this She said the church is in Gaza. Oh Do you know that Hamas hides their stuff under everything of value? Okay, so first I was lying now She realizes that she cannot avoid the fact that it happened and she instantly switches to saying well Oh, well, he he died some people died, but it's because obviously Israel had to do it because Hamas was hiding under the rubble again. She's trying to make this political Nobody said anything political. Nobody accused We simply relayed the facts of the situation and felt sadly for this individual who lost his family But now she's upset because if I did share that video I was supposed to include commentary That defended Israel doing it seriously She goes on to say this to me you have the power to show the world who Israel is The peace in the country and instead you give a half truth to incite violence The only player who doesn't give about life is Hamas. I wish you understood this. Goodbye Okay, so now that she realized that I was telling the truth She's basically saying it's still your fault Candace because how dare you share this Without also including a note to talk about how wonderful Israel is she's angry at me for not operating like an Israeli PR firm I don't work for the Israeli government. Okay. I do not work for the Hamas Terrorist organization. Okay. I am a Christian and I am allowed to talk about Christian deaths without doing PR for Israel. Okay? Absolutely despicable. Let me say something very clearly and this is what I said to her in response I said, I am NOT an Israeli PR firm I simply shared news that Christians were killed or for whatever reason you think that I can only share that news if I explain That those innocent lives had to be taken in order for Israel to accomplish its goals Like literally what is wrong with you? You've abandoned your humanity is what's wrong Let the Israeli government explain why they bombed a place where Christians were sheltering. I don't work for them I am a Christian mourning with Christians and I want to make that clear once again that This is not how you win friends and influence people you don't get to yell at people and say you're not allowed to share any news unless you wrap it up in a bow and Explain that you know this baby that you just saw don't feel anything just yet because every every baby that's killed is killed Because it has to happen right? I've lived in America. I know how this works I remember we killed almost a million Iraqi civilians and we were being Told by our news and our media that every Iraqi civilian had to die because weapons of mass destruction blah blah I don't care. Okay at the end of the day as I have said from the very beginning of this outbreak of war When you see an Israeli child and they are dead You should feel something your instinct should not be when you see a dead Israeli child to say well You know if Gaza wasn't an open-air prison this wouldn't have happened Hamas wouldn't have had to do this So too when you see a Palestinian child or when you see a Christian child being pulled from the rubble your instinct shouldn't be well You know don't share that image unless you're gonna do some PR for the Israeli government to show that they actually every child has to Be killed in order for us to kill Hamas You've lost your humanity. It's disgusting and don't think that I will ever ever be included in that narrative, okay? I am never going to be a bought-and-paid-for propagandist for either side I am allowed to respond like a human being you should be ashamed of yourself I said to her if your first response was just not I am so sorry Justin for your loss The end point-blank not pointing fingers and playing the blame game There's the old Thomas Sowell quotes, and I think that this so aptly applies to people When people get used to preferential treatment, he says equal treatment seems like discrimination, right? Why aren't you using your platform every single day to talk about the crimes in Gaza, right?
