Hi, I'm Anastasia Haunt, and I'm Maximilian Haunt, and we're going to take you on a tour
of our new van.
You might have seen our last one that was a rental, but we wanted to show you guys the
upgrades.
So, let's go.
Let's go inside.
Welcome to the cockpit.
This is our driver's area.
Our tour manager, Donnie Hill, usually does the driving.
We love him so much.
And Anna does the other, you know, half of the driving.
Yeah, if you'll just allow me to.
The thing about me and Donnie is he is captain and I'm co-captain, obviously, for obvious
reasons because he drives and I help.
So, it has a little horn, we have some jams, a little of this, a little of that, and yeah,
they really like my steering wheel, right guys?
Big fans.
Big fan of it.
They love the little dance parties that it supplies at three in the morning, so yeah.
So, this is Pebbles.
Pebbles has been with us for many, many years.
I've had him since I'm 14 years old.
I got him on Easter one year in an Easter basket and I had a show that night in Miami,
so I took him and just started like beating the fuck out of him on stage and I've taken
him on stage with me ever since and the rest of the van has a Pebbles tattoo.
They all have matching.
Can you?
You, yeah.
I can see.
You can probably see.
Nah, give me an arm.
Here we go.
They all have this matching.
I'm too much of a bitch to get it, so I have like a 13 on my neck.
Somehow it ties in.
It does.
Yeah, maybe one day when I'm brave enough, I'll get it.
Got a few hat selections.
If I'm like sick of my captain hat, I have this one with a little friend on here.
She's feeling mischievous.
When I'm feeling lonely, I put this on so I can have a companion.
We also frequent a Waffle House.
So we just celebrated Nick's birthday at a Waffle House.
Yeah, last night.
It is Nick's birthday as well, so when you get to him, you know, give him a little extra
something.
Drop a happy birthday on the car.
And yeah, I'm kind of psycho when it comes to glasses.
I have them hanging off of me.
And these aren't even all of them.
These are just all the ones that I need right here with me just in case.
So gotta stay protected from the sun.
And also sleigh.
Also sleigh.
Anything you've got to say?
He doesn't spend time up here.
I'm not really up here.
I'm actually the furthest point from here, but I'm just, you know, helping with the tour
a little bit.
What I assume goes on back here is a little bit of sanitation.
Try to keep the sanitation to a maximum.
And also, you know, someone's gotta supply the treats.
This is my stash of Dum Dums, because, you know, I'll curate whatever mood I'm in and
the whole band will have to deal with it for the duration of our drive.
That is not a joke.
It's either like, we'll get it out of the show and we'll be like, really hype.
And Anna's just like, you know what?
It's back to December by Taylor Swift time.
Yeah, I...
That's just what we have to deal with for that night.
It really, really depends on the mood because I'll be listening to like, I don't know, it's
like a really, it's yeah, it's broad.
It's really broad.
Lots of Stevie Nicks.
Yes.
Lots of Fleetwood Mac.
But then some Grime.
Isn't that what it's called?
A lot of Grime recently.
I'm a Grime girl.
UK Grime.
I don't know.
Just...
You've been on that.
And then we did a lot of, um, there was a, I feel like there was like a, like a, I think
a rising phase early on in the tour.
Central C is just speaking to me recently.
Central C.
So I've just been rocking with him pretty hard.
But a lot of Stevie Nicks.
Yeah.
We have the playlist that I've been playing, actually.
We can pull it up real quick.
It's called Slaying and Cunting.
And it's right here.
We want to take a look.
Slaying and Cunting.
So we've got Black Keys.
We've got some Deftones, Jeff Buckley, some Beba Doobie, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, just
everyone and their mother.
Literally everyone.
Some Panic, Rainwolf, Oasis.
Oh my God.
I've been playing this song, actually.
They probably feel tortured, but Songbird by Oasis I've been playing on repeat for about
two months.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
I like being in charge of the arcs.
That's why you made your move up here.
But as soon as, like, I connect to it, everyone in the car knows that I'm insane.
So it's like a win-lose kind of situation.
And then when you, sometimes this thing will glitch out and then she can't play music and
we have to pull over and we have to restart the band.
Okay.
Let's go to the middle.
Let's see.
Greetings.
Greetings, my love.
Hello.
Hi.
I'm Nat.
I play bass for The Haunt, and this is my area right here.
When this is not pulled all the way back, I have more leg room.
Right here, I have, this is very important.
This is my mirror that I use every day to get ready.
I use it with my laptop.
It's not here right now.
I have makeup wipes, very important, for after the show.
I have some cayenne pepper for lemons in the morning.
I have my birth certificate.
That's a very long story.
Got my brush to brush my hair, even though I hardly do that.
Have some Kit Kats, my favorite chocolate.
Some forks.
Don't laugh at me, guys.
This is where I live.
My favorite chain, which I forgot to put on, so I have to put this on.
Fanny pack for when I need my wallet.
That's kind of it.
This is just kind of my area.
Usually in the mornings, on the drives, I do all the merch square up stuff, so I work
on my laptop a lot.
I'm listening to music, too.
I curate playlists, also.
I'm doing that most of the time with my laptop.
If not, I'm sleeping or binging a TV show.
We started off this tour with Daisy Jones and the Six, and we are all madly in love
with it.
So I've watched it three times, and then Max watched it, made her watch it, made everyone
watch it.
They had been hounding me for a full month, and then I was going to start it, and then
they were like, no, no, no, no.
We have to wait until the tour starts.
So then, the beginning of the tour, and it was fantastic.
Right now, we're making her watch White Lotus.
White Lotus.
No one laughs harder at shows and movies than that.
This is my Cuban laugh.
This is her shit.
It's so amazing.
I wish you could hear it.
It's my Cuban laugh.
It's very...
It's amazing.
Extroverted.
Yeah.
I have a cackle, too.
Mine is more, like, demonic.
Yeah.
More evil.
Yeah, mine...
It's not evil, but it's, like, it's passionate.
It's Nick's birthday, so we have cupcakes.
And then, these...
Our sweetest fan gave us these yesterday, and they were the most delicious thing.
Did you try?
I did.
They're vegan and gluten-free, which none of us are, but I do appreciate the sentiment,
and they actually taste good.
Thank you.
They actually taste good, even though they're vegan and gluten-free.
They taste delicious.
So we have Nick's birthday cupcakes and some cookies.
By the way, it's Nick's birthday.
By the way.
Maybe you want to move to his?
I don't even got that.
What's up?
I'm Nick.
I play drums in The Haunt, and this is my spot, and I typically, like, never have enough
room.
Nat always crushes me with everything.
As soon as she gets in, she winds right back, but it's okay, because, you know, she's cool.
I'm a little nervous.
It gets a little disorganized.
But it leaves so many options open.
Like if I'm sick of Donnie, which I never am.
We talk all night.
If I'm sick of Donnie, I'll come here.
Or go there.
Or if I want to watch something with them.
So it's like, we've got lots of stuff to do.
These things recline.
And apparently they swivel.
But we haven't swiveled them.
We did that once.
We did it once because we were just practicing.
But apparently we can face each other.
No, we've done it.
We practiced.
Oh, true.
We practiced one time.
We practiced and faced each other.
That was a while ago.
Because we went from the beginning of the tour.
We were doing a 30 minute set.
And now we're doing an hour.
So we had to brush up on the newer songs.
And we just turned around and did a full rehearsal.
I forgot about that.
Yeah.
The swivel does work.
I got bongos.
And they got acoustic instruments and stuff.
And I had my voice.
So it worked out.
Welcome to my back row.
They're always yelling at me.
Mad at me.
Because I get to lay down back here.
But they don't realize that my seat doesn't recline.
Right?
So this is the hardship of being back here.
Let me tell you my sob story.
No, it does not.
If the trunk is empty.
Well, this actually does.
If the trunk is empty, it can recline.
Into a full bed.
But our trunk is like filled with shit.
We have coolers and stuff.
And we have a bunch of stuff back here.
So that's never happened.
It does recline, technically.
But it's never reclined, ever.
So I have to kind of.
There's stuff right here right now.
But I generally am sitting somewhat like this.
Which is cool, I guess.
But, you know.
After a while, you want to sit up and be an adult.
And it's, I can't do anything.
Like, I can't go on my laptop or anything.
Whatever.
So I generally lay down.
And most of my time, when I'm not watching something with them.
Is spent with my.
You know, I got my headphones.
And then I'll generally be, you know, back here drawing.
Doing stuff like that.
And on my iPad.
I think we talked about this.
It sounds like.
This is what it sounds like.
Max.
Huh?
We will call him.
Max is always.
I don't know if we talked about this last time.
But Max is always on a different tour than we are.
And he's always in this back row.
And we can never.
We have to like call him on the phone.
So yeah.
I'll get text messages.
Reach him.
Hey.
It's like different time zones.
Yeah.
Max, are you alive?
I'm checked out.
I got stuff in my ears.
And I'm good to go.
Don't want to hear from these motherfuckers ever again.
My boot was back here.
Because I fell off the stage.
And sprained my ankle.
And I was wearing it on and off.
Because I kept tweaking it.
Loading gear in and out.
But I guess.
Here it is.
This is my boot.
From when I fell off of the stage.
In front of the crowd.
And sprained my ankle.
On this run.
So that was a lot of fun for me.
And then.
What else do I got back here?
I keep.
I'm a cut right now.
So I keep a lot of like snacks.
Nearby.
That are good for cutting.
This isn't really one of them.
I just thought I was going to eat this today.
This is light chicken noodle soup.
But I do.
This is one of the big ones that I frequent.
It's these guys right here.
These are the goat for cutting.
Because I'm a sweet guy.
I got a sweet tooth.
And.
I'm a sweet guy.
And so yeah.
Nothing really exciting happens back here.
I just draw.
Listen to music.
And.
And eat protein cookies.
Eat protein cookies.
And play Zelda.
We're trying very hard to not get robbed.
We use these.
I mean.
I don't know a lot about lock picking.
Or this or that.
But I know that.
We try to get locked.
So you can't clip.
That's generally what.
Most robbers are using.
So.
Fucking locksmith over here.
The lock guy.
So welcome to our trailer.
This is a part of the trailer.
That we built out.
Specifically for our wardrobe.
Yeah.
Wardrobe is a huge part for us.
So.
We built out.
Little racks.
Right before we left.
And.
We.
Yeah.
I.
I was up here.
With my.
Tools and stuff.
And.
My dad.
And our tour manager built it.
And day one.
They broke.
So I went in there.
And.
Rebuilt it.
And everything has been fine.
Knock on wood.
Ever since.
Yeah.
But I was.
He's not telling you the full truth.
I was in there.
Yeah.
You were working.
With my tool belt on.
Getting my hands dirty.
So.
See that's why I have this broken nail.
Yeah.
So this is the suitcase that I take in.
To the venue.
Each night.
Into the green room.
Get in there.
Get the accessories in this one.
And we're ready to go.
And just wheel that shit in.
So that's.
Super helpful.
It's also really helpful that it's.
Adorable.
And has a little.
Bunny on it.
Or something like that.
Little hooded.
Person.
This bin.
We have.
Clothing.
As well.
We have.
Different outfits.
It doesn't look organized right now.
Because we're on our last day of tour.
Or second to last day of tour.
But at the beginning of tour.
We had.
We still do.
It's just under this mask.
So it has like.
My outfit.
And his outfit.
That goes with.
The same vibe.
In a bag.
So that has really helped us.
Yeah.
Keep our shit together.
And then.
We have.
A food bin.
That.
Over here.
Has some.
Snacks and.
Soups and.
Just things that.
Healthy things that you can't find.
All the time.
Yeah.
Some coconut water.
And.
Some.
Water.
Yeah.
And.
Some coconut water.
And.
Just.
Things like that.
This is Max's acoustic.
And.
What's this?
This is Nick's bongos.
Bongos.
Yeah.
And then back here we have.
Our shoe bins.
That has the.
Whole bands.
Every shoe.
Every color of shoe.
Sneaker.
Workout.
Boots.
Lots of big.
Platforms like this.
So.
Heavy ass bin.
Yeah.
It's the heaviest bin.
Heaviest thing in the.
Probably the whole van.
Is that bin.
Yeah.
So.
We hope you guys.
Enjoyed this.
With us.
Yeah.
Please stream more.
On Spotify.
