Welcome back to the Farmers' Welfare Channel.
In today's video, we will talk about the story of a boy who went to the forest to cut down trees
and raise a wild animal that does not need to drink water to earn hundreds of millions of VND.
Let's take a look!
Dak Nong went to the forest to cut down trees and raise a wild animal that does not need to drink water to earn money.
He developed a model for breeding, in which he raised specialties.
Many young people in Dak Nong province have successfully started a business, giving back high income.
Successfully with a model for breeding.
Only after 2 years, Mr. Han Son Truong, born in 1990 in Nam Ninh village, Nam Dring commune, Krong district, Dak Nong province,
successfully developed a model for breeding, bringing in more than 500 million VND per year.
After finishing grade 10, Truong went to study engineering, with the intention of opening a car repair facility.
But when he finished studying, the local government saw that the demand was not great, so Truong found another way to do business.
In 2012, after buying 40 pandas for 5 million VND, Truong bought a land of 50 square meters as a pet.
Right when he started raising pandas, Truong had a hard time due to lack of experience.
Pandas grow slowly.
It is also difficult to breed pandas, so the male and female cannot interbreed.
Failure in breeding made Truong's raising pandas a bottleneck.
Not only that, Truong learned information on the Internet, studied technology, and learned how to raise pandas.
Through that, Truong also understood the development process of pandas,
especially the process of pairing the male and female to have the appropriate breeding adjustments.
After many months of eating and sleeping with pandas, Truong successfully bred them.
Pandas continuously multiply and develop well.
From here, Truong selects high-quality anti-pandas to breed and produce.
Truong said that it takes the F3 generation for pandas to develop stably,
produce and take good care of the environment.
In 2018, Truong invested in building a 300-square-meter farm
and kept 500 pairs of live pandas and meat pandas.
Truong raises pandas in a quiet, wind-proof position, without direct sunlight.
In the farm, Truong uses a roof frame to prevent the growth of holes for each panda.
This is a simple but very effective way to limit pandas' ability to hatch and lay eggs.
Truong shares his experience raising pandas.
Two things to note when raising pandas are that the farm must be good
because it is related to the living environment for pandas
and the second is that the pandas must respect.
As for the growth process, when they are 7-8 months old,
it is the time for the pandas to hatch, they need to mate to breed.
During the mating process, they need to be monitored regularly.
If the two bodies do not conflict, bite each other, then mate with each other.
After mating for 15 days, they must be separated to breed and produce.
When the pandas are 1 month old, they are separated from the baby pandas to breed.
According to Truong, every year pandas produce 4 eggs, each egg 2-5.
After 3 months of hatching, pandas produce 500-700 grams of eggs.
For 8 months, pandas produce 1-1.2 kilograms of eggs.
Pandas' food is mainly bamboo, jackfruit, guava, corn, and dried seeds.
In general, the food source for pandas is available in the local area
and can be used for breeding.
The advantage of pandas is that they do not need to drink water,
the amount of excretion is low and dry,
so they usually have to clean the cage once every 3-5 days.
Pandas are well-tempered.
In summer, they can spread their bones on the roof of the cage.
The temperature of the cage is below 33 degrees Celsius
so that the pandas can grow well.
To take the initiative to feed the pandas,
Truong has grown 3-6 jackfruit trees
and hired workers to go to the forest to cover the cage twice a month
to provide more for the pandas.
In addition, every week, Truong feeds the pandas
more pork bones, buffalo bones, beef,
or earthworms to provide more nutrients.
Pandas belong to the specialty food category,
the commodity market is currently not sufficient.
Meanwhile, pandas are easy to raise for high economic efficiency.
Currently, Truong's family is selling
jackfruit seeds to buy meat and live pandas
for 500,000 VND per kilogram.
According to Truong's calculation,
last year, the revenue of Truong's pandas farm
reached about 700 million VND,
including 150 million in cost.
Mr. Tran Anh Ba,
vice-minister of Krong Nong district,
evaluates Truong's pandas farm
as a bright spot and an effective start
for young people in the district.
One of the major advantages of this model
is a simple farm, easy-to-raise technology,
which can be used and available locally
with great economic benefits.
Over time, Truong's pandas farm
has become a visiting point,
learning experience,
start-up of many young members on the ground.
Truong is an open-minded young man
and ready to pass on pandas technology
to young people who want to start a business with pandas,
Anh Ba said.
Stable income from pandas
With only 20 million VND,
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Linh,
born in 1988,
in Ton Ba, Tan Sinh commune,
Dak Loeb district, Dak Nong province,
has a stable income of 10 to 12 million VND
per month.
In 2013,
after graduating from Dalat University,
instead of applying for a job elsewhere,
Linh returned home to help his family run the business.
In August 2019,
Linh invested in Truong Nuoi Tho
after a long period of research,
understanding technology,
care, prevention and treatment for pandas.
Linh shared that the model of raising pandas
can be developed into a pet.
Through the process of care,
Linh found that pandas develop well,
eat well, prevent diseases easily,
reproduce quickly and a lot,
and can develop into a model of meat-raising pandas.
Since then, Linh decided to invest
in raising pandas in a large scale.
Linh started to build a model of raising pandas
based on the previous pig-raising system
left by his parents.
With only more than 20 million VND,
Linh invested to buy 30 New Zealand pandas
and built a large panda breeding area
to raise pandas.
Truong Nuoi Tho is placed on a concrete surface
about 50-60 cm.
On each side of the cage,
there is an information sheet
for each panda,
such as breeding day,
breeding day,
breeding day.
Linh said New Zealand pandas
are a young species,
pandas after 5-6 months
begin to breed.
On average,
Linh said
