Hey, it's Hannes here. Nice to have you here.
In this video I want to show you a song that is very simple, but still sounds very impressive and beautiful at the same time.
We'll get started right away.
The basis of the whole thing is ultimately a neck, which is probably totally common,
namely the E major neck, which we move to certain places and add another note.
Don't worry, it looks a bit like a barre grip, but it's not. It sounds much nicer.
We have a H6 here. Sounds crazy now, but it's very simple.
Seventh fret, E string with the index finger.
And then you see the structure here, the E major neck.
That means, index finger, as I said, seventh fret, E string.
Ring finger, ninth fret, A string.
Little finger, ninth fret, D string.
Middle finger, eighth fret, G string.
A H11 chord. Sounds totally crazy now, but it's very simple,
because it is ultimately based on the form of E major, the structure of E major.
And we add the index finger here.
So we have the index finger in the seventh fret on the E string,
the ring finger in the ninth fret on the A string,
the little finger in the ninth fret on the D string
and the middle finger in the eighth fret on the G string.
That means, here we have a real H major chord.
Then again the empty H string and then the 11th.
I almost just hit off.
And here and there my little impact.
And now I push the whole thing one, two, three, four, five bundles deeper
in the second or fourth, fourth and third bundle,
but still have the two empty strings, the H and the E string.
That's F sharp, seven, eleven.
And then E major, all again two bundles deeper.
Second bundle, second bundle, first bundle.
And back to F sharp, seven, eleven.
So, thank you for watching and see you next time.
