Apple iPhone 15 Silicone & Clear Cases Review! Worth It?

Hey everyone, how's it going? Daniel here. Today we're taking a look at Apple's new iPhone 15 clear case and Silicone case. Now here we have all the iPhone 15 pros, pro maxes, pluses, normal 15 So we're gonna kind of do a bunch of color things here and get everything so you can get an idea of how these cases actually look. Now both of these retail for $49 and then the fine woven cases which are technically Apple's more higher-end ones retail for $59 so $10 price difference and they're technically higher and we'll see that'll be a separate video since there's more colors on that one We have all the fine woven colors here, but we don't have all the silicone colors here So here first off let's start off with what silicone cases I got here for The showcase here and we have the pink one for the iPhone 15 I just thought this would be nice to see not only with the pink 15 color But also with the blue one then we have the 15 pro this one's called the winter blue case Which I was curious how this would look with my personal phone the natural titanium But it'll be interesting to see how it looks with the other colors, too Then last we have this one for the pro max and this is the clay colored case Which was interesting because honestly this phone could have been called clay to the natural titanium Just because that stony kind of clay like color could have been a good name for it as well So these are the three silicone cases that we have here to check out and then of course We have just all clears here for all the colors So first off let's start off with a silicone just real quick to kind of get that through and over Visually not much has changed The only differences you'll see is that on the pro models you actually have that ringer switch covered because it's no longer a ringer switch And it's now the action button. So it's a little button. And so let's go ahead and put my iPhone in here just to see how the button actually feels and all the buttons how they feel Visually, this is a great color combo. It's exactly what I expected. It makes this actually look more gray than it actually is I really really like that the button itself Nice and clicky it actually has a clickiness and it is tactile. So I really do like that the volume I don't know if you can hear it as I'm clicking it. They do have a click which is nice and so here we open the phone up I can hold it very easy to Activate the action button and very easy to feel it there as well. So that's very good. Nice and clicky buttons We do have protection around the camera I do like that There's like a secondary color here right around the camera ring Same color as the Apple logo and as the buttons the contrast here is just really really nice with all the colors Definitely a fantastic color I know that these silicone cases have a bad rap But one thing that I do applaud Apple for is that these silicone cases always have some really really stunning colors They go great with the colors that Apple releases So I just really like the silicone colors for the colors not actually the case It's not the best case in the world, but the inside is soft. It's not gonna scratch your phone It does have MagSafe, of course, and I just liked all the colors that they do offer. So here real quick Let's try it on the blue titanium so you can see that they're blue on blue looks really good Actually, I think it complements the case very nicely blue case with a blue phone I think that's a great choice to go with for sure I would definitely sport it like this if I had the blue phone even though I wasn't a big fan of the Particular color and while these are maxes I can just kind of real quick. Just kind of hold it over there You can kind of get an idea of how it might look right? Of course, that's gonna work really well And of course if this is gonna work really really well as well. I think this is probably a fantastic combo I didn't like the silver very much either But this is definitely how I do it with a really nice contrast a black case or a blue case And it just makes that silver look more white instead of silver I know Apple called it white, but it still has that kind of silvery sheen to it Which I'm not the biggest fan of and you can see that there But yeah, very nice color, and I really really like that. I definitely would recommend this little color Well second now here Let's have the pink case actually and that would actually go really well actually with the silver and the black This will look very nice to you actually makes it look like gray and pink. That's always a good combo blue But real quick what I wanted to see really was the pink on pink combo right here, which I think looks fantastic I am a fan of more contrast though So I really would put a different color on this pink phone like a blue case But I really do like the complete pink look here. I think it just finishes that candy look Very very nice buttons are also clicky and tactile on this one and of course the ringer switch is open here So you can just pull it up and down It's not too hard to dig in there to To switch it so it is pretty good and of course it does have a lip in the front So if you put on a table, it's not gonna scratch your phone But these cases are never really gonna offer much protection now real quick the pink case on the black phone right there on the green Phone that actually kind of works a little bit kind of like that on the yellow phone right here This one actually fits the other ones were the plus models Yeah, actually this kind of makes it the yellow one work more I hated the yellow one in the unboxing but with a case and some other color popping through it I could see it working I actually quite like that last but not least here pink and blue This is also the color combo that I knew would work. This looks so good. Look at that. I think they work perfectly Yeah Very very nice combination right there Very very nice case. I think it feels really good They don't age great and stuff, but the colors that they use are really top-notch last but not least here let's see here the great clay case on the silver phone or on the white phone and That looks super super good really clean if you're getting the white titanium Definitely consider this clay case or like any case in that kind of gray color area because it really pops Nicely with the kind of silver accents here and the white back there. It looks super super clean actually Yeah, I highly recommend this look from the front you're not gonna get anything peeking through from that silver or the titanium It's gonna be basically black here on the front maybe the tiniest bit But honestly, it's just black on the front. It works perfectly with screen protectors. All these phones have screen protectors on them Yeah, what a nice little combo actually Highly recommend that if you get the white titanium here real quick with the black titanium kind of an all-black look But kind of keeping that gray because it's kind of still a little bit too gray I know that people that want a full black phone is still not fully black And so this kind of keeps to that tradition of Apple not giving us a black phone I don't think it looks as good as the white phone just because there's no real contrast I would rather put a white case on this actually and then real quick These are of course, they're smaller models, but you can see it right there That looks much better actually than just the black one that looks really really nice kind of like an all gray look I would definitely go for this actually Really like that don't like it as much as the blue. I don't think not as much as a blue case But I do like it and then here's the blue phone with gray Mm-hmm. Not my liking not my liking but the case feels very solid. I honestly don't remember last year's case I know these are expensive for what they are Again, the reason I check them out is because I always love the colors that they have All right So let me move on here to showing you the clear case here with MagSafe Again, all the silicone cases have MagSafe and so do the clear cases from Apple here. We have one for the Pro Max And let's pull that out. Let's go ahead and put it on the Pro Max devices real quick So you can see that here it is what silver is going to I'm gonna keep saying silver my apologies What white titanium is going to look like here with a clear case? Probably the phone that's gonna look the best with a clear case. Is this just because it's white It's not gonna show the smudges from the case or anything. It's gonna be very very good for that It's gonna look very clean. And of course you can use this as placeholders. There's better clear cases out there that Are cheaper and also just feel better than Apple's clear case This doesn't really bring anything specifically special to the table other than that it's an official Apple case. Second here We have the black titanium. The issue with like getting a dark phone with a clear case is of course Those fingerprints are gonna be super noticeable as you can see right there Not a fan of how that looks. The buttons though on the Apple case are very smushy That's why I wouldn't really recommend this clear case There's many clear cases out there where they fix this issue and the buttons are actually clicky and tactile But here they're just muted and they're they're mushy. They don't feel great. It's not something that I particularly like the action button feels Fine, but again mushy as well and the sleep and wake feels the mushiest of them all I'm guessing because it's the largest button On here. They also leave the bottom exposed. So overall clear case. I don't really recommend it There's no like saving grace for it for me the silicone case The only saving grace there is the stunning colors that they offer them in now here we have the one for the 15 pro normal, so I'm just use that to show you the Natural titanium and the blue one here real quick I'm trying to rush a little bit cuz I know that Then it'll feel like I'm dragging a bit I don't want to feel like I'm wasting your time But the natural titanium actually does work with a clear case pretty well. It looks pretty nice. It gives it kind of like a Gray look again It's a lot grayer than I thought it was gonna be and I'm actually really happy for that because I've been wanting a silver gray Phone for a long time. This is the closest we've gotten to the original iPhone and Hopefully one day we get one that's just mimics that original iPhone look but for now this doesn't and I think it looks really good There you go. That's the natural titanium Let's get this guy on blue here real quick. And here it is on blue quite similar to the black You're gonna have the issues with the fingerprints with a clear case Not my go-to look here unless you want to be wiping it all the time Not the best thing to put on but the blue does look good with that white ring So that is something to note. I do like that little contrast there The black looks good, too. But I think the blue does Specifically match really nicely with a white last but not least, of course all the iPhone 15 and 15 plus colors So let's take out the iPhone 15 plus case and the iPhone 15 case to check that out here They are of course very similar. Now. It's not gonna have the action button instead It's gonna have a hole there for the ringer switch here So let's go ahead and put this one here on the black iPhone 15 plus and the pink iPhone 15 And again the same thing I really Wouldn't buy the clear case for one of these darker colors The black is just look at look at the amount of fingerprints you can see on there Versus what you can see on the 15 on the 15. You really can't see much of anything yeah, you don't see them there on the pink the pink just looks really nice with that and I like that especially with that white look you can see the difference there So now let's go ahead and put it and you might hear that That's like that airdrop sound from the new update and it's gonna keep happening as we touch phones together But let's go ahead and put it here on the green 15 plus and then also on possibly the yellow 15 here here We have both of these here and as you can see it also works really well because they're very bright colors They're very almost kind of leaning towards that kind of white washed and faded away Easter look and so they just work really well I think specifically the green actually looks really good here with this case It just matches really well the green accents there the yellow begins to get too white for me I think the yellow does need something darker to kind of tone it down Like I said that pink case kind of worked because it's such a different color You could definitely get it to work with like a blue case as well And kind of tone it down and mellow it out a bit because it's a little bit too washed away last but not least Possibly my favorite color of the iPhone 15 is this blue one and it looks so good It's gonna look so good with so many cases, but it does look good with a clear case here yeah, that should give you an idea of how these phones kind of look with these cases and Just in case you're wondering and of course Imagine it as a placeholder if you don't want Apple's case and you don't pay their price as well Then other clear cases are gonna look very similar to this as well. That's how the colors are gonna react under this kind of Situation now since these colors are so matted out you can see that they don't change colors I talked about that in the unboxings. That's something that I really really like about the iPhone 15 series. Is that the colors? Don't change color like they just flat matte and those frosted backs just really don't reflect any light or anything It just looks really really good Look at that.
