It used to be the most beautiful and dreamy river in Thang Long province.
Today, the To Lich River in our eyes is just a small black puddle of water.
And what else?
Horror stories about the god of the To Lich River
used to make the people of the capital panicked and lost their sleep.
If you don't know, in 2007,
the Ministry of Justice of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of Vietnam
published an article titled The God of the To Lich River.
Accordingly, on September 27, 2001,
a team of workers while digging the To Lich River
discovered very strange and mysterious ancient relics,
including many wooden pillars hidden in the middle of the river,
giving the shape of a pyramid,
human skulls, elephant bones, horse bones,
many pieces of broken plates, knives, swords, axes, coins,
and the story of Shukumatsu naturally falling into the river.
Who are the people who are working on their own,
falling to the ground,
taking the board out to try, then the board turns.
After continuing to deliberately work,
some workers and their relatives have had many accidents and diseases.
In fact, some people even died on the spot.
Many Feng Shui masters believe that the workers
violated the rules of the high seas,
so they were punished.
The work of the workers for that reason,
which met many setbacks,
was not as effective as expected.
About a year later,
the sad stories of the members of the team
began to be associated
with the mysterious stories related to Shukumatsu.
The death of Thich Vien Thanh,
the famous monk who presided over the temple of Huong,
in 2002 was said to be due to the monk's failure
in setting up the altar to witness the high seas.
In fact, Tran Quoc Vuong,
one of the four masters of the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences,
was also involved in this event.
Many Feng Shui masters speculate that
his departure in 2005 due to cancer
was also because he was too eager to
move to the high seas when bringing some artifacts
to the research center.
So who is the high seas?
Is the Tô Lịch river real?
And what is the purpose?
Let's find out in today's video.
According to a Chinese book,
the high seas are the people of U Châu,
Beijing today.
In 863,
the Nam Chieu army,
the great army,
occupied An Nam from the west of the road.
In 864,
Cao Bien, the general of the Western Southern Brigade,
led the Chuong Nhan army to attack
and occupy the lost land.
So he was promoted by Yi Tong
to lead the An Nam army.
In short, Cao Bien is a foreigner
who was promoted to be the governor-general of Zhaozhi.
He contributed to the construction of Dai La,
which is the capital of our country,
with an area of about 6.6 km,
8.67 m high,
8.33 m wide,
3 rivers and 34 roads.
In addition to the city,
there is also a 7 km long
and 5 m high protective wall.
Cao Bien is a special figure
in both literature and humanities.
It is characterized by the large number of appearances,
the spectacular and attractive
works of art,
especially the story of him having the title of Feng Shui,
so the port invited scholars and scholars
to tell the story of Cao Bien.
In Ninh Binh, there is a legend that
Cao Bien often wore a phoenix shirt,
sent a letter to see the location,
then set up an altar,
tricked the local gods to come,
then used a sword to slash his head,
then poured out the ointment,
stole the air to wipe the dragon's eye.
Once the wine was sent to Hoa Lu,
a priest and his people used the name of the shot.
Cao Bien was seriously injured,
the wine broke the wing and fell into a mountain,
hence the name of the wine wing.
In Bac Ninh, the story is told that
Cao Bien built a stone pillar in the mountain
to break the dragon's eye.
Today, the heavy stone pillar on the 5th floor still exists,
but the structure and shape are partly contrary to the legend,
because it is a work of stone carving
in the style of the time.
In 1427, Lê Lợi destroyed Dong Quan City,
captured Hong Hòa Phúc,
awarded the Ministry of Works of his family,
collected many books, important documents, rare and precious.
Especially in this book,
there are books of Cao Bien,
lists of the blood of Phát people in Anh Kiệt
and even the great land Phát Đế Vương in our country.
What is surprising,
what is surprising for today is these lists,
compared to history,
there are many parts that are correct.
This confirms that Cao Bien
is a person with the ability to judge on the face of Feng Shui,
that is the truth.
So why did Cao Bien praise the Tô Lịch River?
The Feng Shui point of view
says that the magical land of Thang Long
is where there is the shape of the Tụ Núi Chầu River,
which is also part of the Asia-Pacific continent,
starting from the Himalayas,
running around like a big dragon
forever up to the Yellow River Liên Sơn,
down to the Viet Tri, then down,
then out and up again in Ba Vì.
Speaking of the Vietnamese territory in 2010,
Lý Tái Tổ,
when he left the capital from Hoa Lư to Đại Lạ,
changed his name to Thang Long,
said that Thang Long is the center of the earth,
which is located in the middle of the West-North-South,
in front of Núi Sông.
The Feng Shui point of view says that
the Tô Lịch River is located on the Thanh Long branch,
which is the Yang branch,
next to the Bach Ho branch.
These two branches form the Lông Chầu-Hổ Phục,
helping Thang Long to become the central point
of the South China Sea.
This Lông Mạch,
with its extreme temperature,
forms the land of the flying dragon,
which is worthy of being the first bloodline,
the land of the emperor,
and the Tô Lịch River is located in the central position
to protect the Lông Mạch.
According to the Feng Shui point of view,
the land is like the human body.
If we have a system of meridians,
veins, and blood veins,
the land also has the blood veins.
The meridians or blood points can pierce
or crack any part of the body,
the point can block
or block the flow of energy in the Lông Mạch.
But where is the strongest energy?
It is where the water meets,
where the rivers meet.
Therefore, the position is considered
that the high point of the point is also the crossing of three rivers,
the meeting point of the Tô Lịch River and the Thien Phủ River.
How does Cao Biền evaluate the Tô Lịch River?
It is not written down,
but there are only wise stories.
The book of Lĩnh Nam Trích Quái tells that
Cao Biền decided to build Dai La
to defend for a short time.
Cao Biền considered the position of the land,
saw that other rivers flowed south,
but there was a small river from Lô Giang
that flowed in the northwest direction.
Once Cao Biền took a boat to the river,
he saw an old man with gray hair,
with a strange appearance,
bathing in the middle of the river.
He asked to know the old man's name.
Cao Biền replied,
the name of the river is Tô Lịch.
On another early morning,
Cao Biền stood on the bank of the Lô Giang River,
in the east of Dai La City.
A strong wind blew up,
the water stream was swirling,
the sky was foggy,
then there was a man standing on the surface of the water,
taller than 2 meters,
wearing a yellow shirt,
purple hat,
holding a yellow hand,
shaking the sky.
Cao Biền panicked,
but he didn't listen.
The next morning, he set up an altar for the old man,
and took a bronze sword to pray.
That night, the wind was heavy,
the sky was foggy,
the fire was burning,
the bronze sword was taken out of the ground,
turned into ashes and flew into the sky.
Dai La City was built by Cao Biền
but the construction was not successful.
The part near the Tô Lịch River was constantly blown up
and had to be rebuilt many times.
Cao Biền walked around to the blown-up location
to find out the cause.
Cao Biền was led by Long Mạch from Núi Tản Viên
to the Tô Lịch River.
Not only was it difficult to build the city,
but later on, there would be a lot of people
coming up to Sương Bá, Sương Vương,
along the road leading to Bắc Quốc.
Long Mạch ran from Núi Tản Viên
along the shape of the land to the Tô Lịch River
and then circled around Dai La City.
Therefore, Long Huyệt's stronghold was in the Tô Lịch River.
The coastal area was captured by Tian Thiên Đồ,
set up a stronghold,
making the dragon unable to move
and trapped in the ground.
