Hi, hello everyone.
Today is the new year.
I wish you all a happy new year.
To all of you, the audience,
who watch the channel of the Quy Lam crew,
I wish you all
to feel
every day,
every moment
is a spring season,
a festival, a moment of admiration,
a moment of joy in life
that doesn't have to wait
until one day
on the calendar
that we feel that this life is a reward.
We don't have to wait
until one day
that someone else decides for us that it is a holiday
that we can rest.
We can create a spring season,
a festival,
and the tranquility,
the rest
in every moment of life.
Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year.
The Quy Lam crew
feel that the land is very clear,
the sky is blue,
the sun is bright,
and the birds around
are singing,
and the sound of the forest is also heard.
And the Quy Lam crew
feel that
every day is like that
for the Quy Lam crew.
Every day,
there is a spring, a summer, a fall, a winter in one day
in the place where the Quy Lam crew lives.
And the feeling
is always
like
on the Lunar New Year
that we can rest
and be happy
and relaxed.
But why
most of us
feel that the light of the Lunar New Year
is very special?
And the Quy Lam crew
used to feel this specialness
in the very clear times,
the time
when we were still in a poor village
and the Lunar New Year
was extremely special.
Now, the Lunar New Year is not as emotional as it used to be.
I guess everyone feels that way.
I guess all adults feel that way.
Our childhood
and especially in Vietnam,
when the country was still poor,
we saw a wonderful Lunar New Year.
We waited for months
to come to the Lunar New Year.
And on the Lunar New Year,
there was something
that brought us joy
and love.
And we could feel
the earth, the fire,
the nature, the trees,
everything was blooming.
It was indeed the spring season.
But the Quy Lam crew
realized that
the light of the Lunar New Year
always brought us
peace, tranquility,
cleanliness,
and good energy.
Because it was
the time when
most people
around us
were resting
and feeling
peaceful
and relaxed.
And
the thought was energy.
And the collective consciousness
had a great power.
The collective consciousness
had a great power.
And when such a large group
around us
felt peaceful, relaxed,
and clean,
then naturally
a clean energy
enveloped all the space,
enveloped all life,
enveloped
the nature,
the trees,
the grass.
And that
made us feel lost
and we didn't
understand why.
In fact, if it wasn't
the Lunar New Year,
if it was a normal day,
if all our collective consciousness
had
a love,
a cleanliness,
a peace,
just like the Lunar New Year,
then that day
we would still
have the feeling
that it was the Lunar New Year.
That was the power of the collective consciousness.
But normally, we are too
confused, too busy
with the meaningless
things in life.
And we are always
wandering
in a busy life.
We can't rest, we can't relax,
we can't dive deep into our inner world.
Therefore,
we often see
the Lunar New Year
as a very busy day,
very busy,
and full of
sadness and joy.
But on the other hand,
on the Lunar New Year,
we feel very peaceful.
When we understand this,
we will create
a lot of Lunar New Year.
Do you agree with me?
If we understand
the power of the collective consciousness,
then we don't have to wait
for the Lunar New Year.
We just have to be aware of ourselves.
We create a bright,
colorful day.
Every morning,
we listen to the sound of the birds,
we look at the sky,
we look at the sun,
we are calm,
calm,
relaxed,
and we feel
clear and peaceful.
We have a bright, colorful day
in our life.
There are a lot of
bright, colorful days like this.
Today's topic is about
awakening.
We have been
evaluated
by many teachers
that
most people
are just walking and sleeping.
We have to look,
don't be arrogant,
if we still dream,
if we still
don't recognize the true value
of this survival,
of this life,
if we still don't recognize
the essence of life,
of the spirit,
of the universe,
of the human,
then we still walk, sleep, and dream.
That's normal,
because that's how the winter is.
That's normal,
but if we have a chance,
we should wake up.
Wake up from small things
to big things.
And we can,
many people think
that we are small,
but when we turn around
and look at ourselves,
we see that we are the universe.
We are big, big, great.
And we begin to realize that
we have
a lot, a lot,
a lot
of space, time,
because we
are not limited
in a narrow frame
of a body,
a life, a family,
a race, an environment,
a culture, a religion,
a system.
We are completely
not in those narrow frames.
And when we wake up,
or when we
turn to wake up,
we come to a life
that is lost
in every second,
lost in every moment.
And we don't need to wait.
We don't need to wait.
We don't need to wait around.
We don't need to wait for the world.
We don't need to wait for everyone
and then we can change.
All the people
who try to change the world
eventually realize that
the best thing
and the best thing is to change yourself.
Now I don't want to talk about
big topics
about spirituality
or about the universe.
I want to talk about the awakening
in this Tet holiday,
the simple things in daily life.
An awakened person
will not do things
that are old and sad
and bring misfortune
or be reluctant
to do.
The first thing I have
often shared is that
I cannot ignore
the rituals
that people
usually do
on the Tet holiday.
It is the celebration
of the age,
the lucky money.
In the past, it was a
joyous experience.
In the past,
the money was rare
and not popular.
So people spent
a small amount of money
to bring
luck
or something
that was considered
lucky for the young and the old.
They celebrated the age
with money
in small amounts.
But now,
money has changed
in a terrible way.
Money has become
a means,
a way
for adults
to win each other's hearts,
to win each other's hearts
by spending money
to win each other's hearts.
It has become
a bad
activity
because
adults
spend money
on lucky money.
Visitors
are under pressure
to know how many
lucky money
they should prepare
and how much money
they should spend.
If they spend
a small amount of money,
people will
feel hurt.
If they spend
a big amount of money,
people will feel hurt.
If they spend
a small amount of money,
people will feel hurt.
Therefore,
we should
give up
lucky money
because
some people
spend money
on poor people
more than
on rich people.
Rich people don't need money.
They don't need a lot of money
while poor people need more money.
But
most people
spend money on rich people
more than on poor people.
The top officials
spend more money on the lower officials.
They spend money
on the people
who are less fortunate.
They spend money
on the people
who are less fortunate.
This is the difference
between people.
It's not a good thing anymore.
It's a bad thing.
I've been away from here for 4-5 years.
I don't get lucky money.
Many people post on Facebook
horrible pictures of
the family.
The family.
It's a great picture.
It's a very famous picture.
His family were so rich.
He was enrobed in a ring.
If you have a big house, you will be proud of it, but if you have a small house, you will be ashamed of it.
So we have the wrong idea.
First, human life. When it ends, that soul will leave everything, even family, even property.
If they don't leave, they have to leave because they can't carry anything.
So how can they remember everything to keep each family, each race like that, so that they can return to their ancestors, return to that grave.
So they will not return there and they will not be there.
So there is no reason for you to go there to find, to get, to feel that there is something there.
So that you can worship, so that you can attach, so that you can belong, so that you can tie your life with the things that people usually think that they have lost, but they are still there.
In fact, they will continue their path, their journey.
The journey of the soul is very long, it is endless.
So there is no stopping point there.
People are not there.
So don't show off your status, your property, your power, your action, your ability, your materiality, through that.
As I saw earlier, Master Thich Nhat Hanh wrote a very good article on the Internet, a lot on the Internet.
Master Thich Nhat Hanh said, don't put Master Thich Nhat Hanh in a tower, because Master Thich Nhat Hanh is not that Buddha.
Master Thich Nhat Hanh will disappear and Master Thich Nhat Hanh will return to Master Thich Nhat Hanh's hometown and continue Master Thich Nhat Hanh's journey.
Don't put Master Thich Nhat Hanh in a tower.
The Buddha's tower is the grave.
When people finish the ritual, they put the Buddha's body in a tower, just like a coffin.
We can see in the temples, there are tall towers.
Those are the towers that hold the remains of the great masters.
Great masters have a big tower.
Small masters have a small tower.
Or they don't have a tower, so they put the Buddha's body in a tower.
Everyone who knows, knows that we don't have that.
When the ritual is over, we put the Buddha's body in a coffin.
We don't put the Buddha's body in a mirror and worship it.
The Buddha's tower is the foundation.
The Buddha's tower is very hard for women.
It's extremely hard for women.
For those who are supposed to enjoy their rest.
Because they have been doing very hard work for days.
Women are very busy.
Now they have to take care of the altar.
Three days before the ritual, they have to build a big altar.
Then invite everyone to eat.
From then until the day of the ritual, usually three days of Tet.
Every morning, noon, and evening, they have to bring rice.
They have to bring rice to the altar.
They have to bring rice instead of wine, instead of water, instead of incense.
It's very hard.
Actually, if we really have a chance to worship the Buddha,
if we have a chance to wait for the day of the ritual,
if we really have a chance to worship the Buddha,
then we should do it.
But we don't have that.
After 49 days, people have already started their journey.
They just stay in the altar for 49 days.
Then they continue their journey.
No one stays there.
Every year, they go back to the altar and sit there to eat.
Actually, if we do that,
if they haven't been able to escape,
but they are still in the spirit world,
it will make them even more miserable.
Because they don't have the body to enjoy that food.
They feel miserable.
It will make them even more miserable.
So, when we understand that it is unreasonable,
it is not necessary,
then we need one more factor to get rid of it.
It is empathy.
We need to step on the wheel to live a free life,
to do what we understand,
to do what we want,
to do what we like.
Sometimes we understand,
we know,
we like,
we want,
but we don't dare to do it.
Because we are afraid of public opinion,
we are afraid of being judged,
we are afraid of being criticized.
People say this and that,
but in the end, they don't care.
So, when we understand,
we know,
but we are not brave enough,
we can't do it.
And on New Year's Day,
is it necessary to go to crowded places?
No, it is not.
People are like,
they are being dragged,
they have to go,
they have to go somewhere.
They feel like,
oh, the crowd is going over there.
Oh, the crowd is going this way.
Go, go, go to that point.
Go to the temple,
then the pagoda,
then the tourist spot.
So, we go.
We don't care about what we need inside.
We are being dragged outside.
We are being dragged,
dragged,
and we think that
those crowded places
are our places,
our happy places.
But no.
Actually,
we become more lost
when we go inside,
wander,
observe,
enjoy,
experience.
When we go to a temple,
there is also the tiredness of that temple.
And we can go back,
after a Tet holiday,
we can go back to work,
which is very tiring,
very tiring,
with a lot of troubles,
because of the customs,
habits,
customs,
which have been stuck in our necks.
They have made us feel that
it is necessary to do that.
Actually,
we have a lot of freedom
to do something different
from others,
to do a lot of different things
from others.
We don't have to do anything.
We celebrate this new year,
we look back at the old customs,
the old traditions,
to see if they are still appropriate.
And we look back at ourselves,
whether we should continue to be lost
in that chaotic environment or not.
And when we ask those questions,
we start to wake up,
wake up,
and we start to see the light
in other environments.
And we realize that
there are a lot of good things
outside of that tradition.
There are a lot of right things,
wonderful things
outside of that tradition.
And the important thing is
that we have the courage
to step out,
step out,
and build for ourselves
a path,
a smooth path
in life
to experience
new things,
to start
to discover
the extremely wonderful
values
of the artifacts,
of all the creations
around our lives.
Okay, the video is over.
Once again,
I wish you all
a happy Tet holiday.
Goodbye.
