Established in 1987, the China Disability Performing Arts Ensemble presents some of the most intricately choreographed and mesmerizing dances, plays and operas you will ever experience. Without hearing, dancers use sound vibrations to interpret rhythm; without sight, musicians use breathing patterns to keep up with the tempo. Together, they performed “The Thousand-Armed Bodhisattva,” one of the most challenging acts the troupe had to learn. Today, they take their talent around the world, performing in more than 100 countries.
