Working is also about being a human being.
This is what I feel in a book of the Central Education Department
called Đúng Việc.
I am very happy to see you again on the podcast channel of Thanh Hai.
Thank you for accompanying and following the podcast channel of Thanh Hai
at 6 a.m. every day.
Today, I will share with you a working philosophy.
Working is also about being a human being.
This is what I feel in a book of the Central Education Department
called Đúng Việc.
Previously, I had the opportunity to meet and work with Mr. Giản Tư Trung
many years ago.
The deep interviews with him
as well as writing dialogue articles about Mr. Giản Tư Trung
gave me very deep feelings.
I have met and worked with Mr. Giản Tư Trung since 2004
when he established the Business Place Training School.
In 2011, I also signed up
and took part in a training course on CEO, business manager
at the Business Place School.
I felt very clearly and deeply about business philosophy
as well as the things that Mr. Giản Tư Trung shared.
I still remember our opening lecture
in a class of about 40-50 students.
The class started at 6 p.m.
and ended at about 1 p.m.
Everyone was still very interested in Mr. Trung's sharing.
There were theories about managing life and managing business.
Managing instead of controlling.
Now I will share a very small module
in the book Đúng Việc by Mr. Giản Tư Trung
with the principle that working is also about being a human being.
Everyone's job in life is to be a human being,
to be a citizen and to work.
The choice of each person in each job
will affect their own life.
Because humans are different from plants
and free people are very different from slaves.
Citizens are definitely different from citizens.
And teachers are definitely different from teachers.
Do you agree with that?
Teachers are very different from teachers.
Journalists are different from journalists.
Managers are different from managers.
Businessmen are different from businessmen.
But how can we choose
if we don't know the existence of these choices?
We can't tell the difference between them.
And how can we choose the right way to work
when we don't know what is right and what is wrong?
In today's program, I will choose a very short part.
I really like it in this book to share with you.
I wish you will have a really interesting first morning podcast.
Thank you for taking the time to listen and watch.
Now let's start today's program.
Some people ask how to balance between life and work.
Actually, for some people,
there is no concept of balancing between work and life.
Because work is life.
Each of us has a job or a career.
And we spend most of our life working or doing that job.
Our time in a day is mainly for work.
We live in the workplace more often than at home.
But the most important thing is that
very few people have a happy life
but not happy with the job they are doing.
Or to put it another way,
if a person's life and work are not in harmony,
or even the opposite,
it is very difficult for that person to have a happy life.
Therefore, working is also the process of being human.
And as a human being, we can't not work.
Our human being can also be shown through our work,
through the quality of the work we do,
as well as through the ideal job we pursue.
If we look at how we work,
how we live,
it is also the mirror that reflects our human nature.
Then we will feel really proud of ourselves
or that we are not worthy of respect from our work.
In the work,
the third days of Master Morier,
there is a part where too many people are surrounded by a meaningless life.
They seem to be in a daze,
even when they are busy doing the jobs they consider important.
That's because they are pursuing the wrong things.
The way to make your life meaningful
is to dedicate yourself to loving others,
to the community around you,
to create something that makes you feel purposeful and meaningful.
To be able to create a great achievement in your work,
you really have to love it.
You have to be happy to dedicate your life to that job.
But to love it,
first of all, you have to understand it.
Because how can you love something you don't understand?
We can never be successful with a job
if we don't do it well.
And we can't do it well if we don't love it.
And we can't love it if we don't understand it.
Moreover, when we understand, love and do a job well,
the benefits will come as a necessary result.
As our ancestors used to say,
work, fame, success.
That is, you have to work, then you have fame.
Working without business ideals is like living without a purpose.
But how do you know
if you really understand the true nature of the job,
whether you are choosing and pursuing it or not?
There is a saying that I really like,
that is, am I understanding and doing well the mission of my job?
Is what I choose to do right for me?
We become wiser by asking questions.
And even if we can't answer, we will become wiser.
Because a well-wrapped question
can contain answers.
Just like a snail,
it is always stuck to the shell on its back.
Thanh Hai will choose to share with you
a question that the teacher Duc Giang Tu Trung
or Giang Tu Trung used to put in the book
Đúng Việc, page 191,
that is, a businessman is a fool or a sad person.
Mr. Luong Van Cam was a patriot,
a great intellectual,
and also a businessman of the country.
It was published in a newspaper,
a paragraph like this.
In today's world competition,
the powerful countries are not just competing in the market.
Civilization is advancing,
sales are becoming more successful.
Sales are thriving in a rich country,
but we don't know where it ends.
We don't know where the poor country ends.
Just look at the sales level of a country.
High or low,
wide or narrow,
it determines whether the people of that country are rich or poor,
rich or poor.
Whether the sales are good or bad
is related to the people's good and bad.
Shouldn't we look at the advantages and disadvantages?
People often say that being rich is related to sin.
That's not true,
because money is not at fault.
Money is just a neutral object.
It's not good or bad.
Good or bad is how people make money
and how people spend money.
That's why people often say
that behind a huge fortune
there may be a bad luck,
a sin,
or both.
Depending on how we make money,
we can distinguish people in the business world.
There are three ways to make money.
One is to make money by bringing,
bringing a value to others.
Two is to make money by causing,
causing harm to others.
Three is to make money by both bringing and causing,
that is, both bringing value to this person
but also causing harm to the other person.
That's what makes the difference
between three groups of people,
the rich and the poor.
The rich and the poor
usually make money by causing harm to others.
It's just different in scale.
Businessmen do not deceive and harm others,
but make money by using their products or services
to meet a customer's need
or solve a social problem.
They always see their mission
as not stopping to improve human life
and promote society
by developing the best products and services.
For example,
a problem that a dairy company participates in
to solve is to contribute to the cultivation of the crop.
A company that participates in the solution
is to nurture the plant.
To assess whether a person is a businessman or not,
people do not look at the scale
but look at the nature of their way of making money.
Businessmen must be businessmen
who do business in the right way,
and business is making money by serving society
and not harming the community.
It means that they meet the customer's needs
or solve a social problem
through their products or services.
When a business does not harm anyone
but produces products and services
to help sustain society
or meet legal requirements,
then profit and brand confidence
will come as a necessary result.
In short,
a businessman is someone who makes money
by serving and not harming.
When will a businessman who does business
truly be happy?
There are three levels of happiness in the work of a businessman.
Level 1
Happiness when making money
because money is the purpose of business.
Level 2
Happiness when making money
is respected and valued
for the contributions I have made to people.
Level 3
Happiness when making money
because money is the purpose of business.
Money is the purpose of business.
Thank you for spending your time listening to my sharing
in the book, The Right Thing of Middle-class Educators.
In 2005, I had the opportunity to interview
with the Middle-class Educators.
At that time, the book, The Right Thing of Middle-class Educators, had not been published.
But until now, I look back at the shares of the Middle-class Educators
since 2004-05,
when I first opened my business page,
it was full of business principles,
as I shared in this book.
You can read the article of Thanh Hai on my personal blog,

I will send you the link of this article
under the description of this video and audio
on YouTube and podcast
so you can click on it to read this article.
And I really believe
the things that Mr. Gian Tu Trung
has shared,
even after 5 years, 10 years, or 50 years,
they are still the same
with the business principle
which is
business is to serve society,
solve other people's problems,
and receive money.
Especially, it only brings good things to society,
but does not cause consequences.
Thank you for spending your time listening
