President Biden predicts the future of the terrorist group Jamás while addressing the situation of the hostages in the conflict zone.
Schumer promises that he will not wait for the Chamber to resolve its leadership crisis to send the military support that Israel needs.
And stay until the end that we have a special report on how the FBI is carrying out an investigation into the followers of Donald Trump for terrorism.
Welcome to TIDI News, I'm Mayra Jaime and we start with the latest news on the war in Israel and the Gaza Strip.
State Secretary Antony Blinken will return to Israel today.
This after several days of link diplomacy between Arab states to ensure that Israel's conflict with the terrorist group Jamás does not spread throughout the region.
He will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.
360,000 Israeli troops are deployed along the borders of Gaza and Lebanon.
The siege of Gaza continues, with a shortage of water, food and fuel, and growing demands to allow humanitarian aid.
While Israel renews its call to civilians in northern Gaza to move south, Jamás is actively preventing civilians from escaping.
The FBI reports that several Jamás commanders were killed this weekend, including the leader of the attacks on October 7, Al-Iqadi.
In northern Israel, citizens are evacuated who are a mile and a quarter from the border with Lebanon.
Residents of 28 communities will be transferred to accommodations funded by the state.
This, after the terrorist group backed by Iran, Hezbollah, claimed responsibility for multiple attacks with anti-tank missiles to a position of the FBI during the weekend.
An Israeli civilian was killed and military casualties were reported.
The terrorist group Jamás must be completely eliminated.
This was a statement by President Biden on Sunday, but it also advocated a path towards a Palestinian state.
The number of Americans killed in the terrorist attacks of Jamás now rises to 29.
14 people are still missing.
In 60 minutes, President Biden spoke of possible hostages.
We will do everything we can to find those who are still alive and free them.
Biden says he does not believe it is necessary to send American troops to the ground, as Israel has one of the best combat forces.
This occurs while US warships bet on the area for growing clashes on the northern border of Israel with Lebanon.
On Saturday, President Biden spoke with the president of the Palestinian Authority, Abbas.
Biden condemned the brutal attack on Israel of Jamás and reiterated that Jamás does not represent the right of the Palestinian people to dignity and self-determination.
Both discussed the efforts of the United States to work with the UN, Egypt, Jordan, Israel and others to ensure that humanitarian supplies reach civilians in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Biden to visit Israel soon, but the White House did not announce specific plans.
State Secretary Antony Blinken spoke on Sunday with the Egyptian president about the war between Israel and Jamás.
Blinken promised that a corridor from Gaza to Egypt will remain open for Palestinians to escape Israeli bombings to the objectives of Jamás.
Blinken met with other Middle Eastern leaders and says there is a consensus to contain the outbreak of violence.
First of all, there is a determination in every country I have been to ensure that this conflict does not spread.
Blinken says that President Biden repeatedly warned any state or non-state actors not to take advantage of the situation.
We support those words with concrete actions, including the deployment of our two largest aircraft carriers in the region. It is not a provocation, it is a dissuasive measure.
The US warships will be located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
The first group to attack the aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, arrived on the Israeli coast earlier this week.
And now the USS Dwight Eisenhower will join.
A group of US senators visited Tel Aviv on Sunday to show their support for Israel during the war against Jamás.
Senator Jackie Rosen says her visit to Tel Aviv and her meeting with those who lost family and loved ones had a profound impact on her.
I'm here to tell the world, this is real. This is real. Do not look away.
Senator Mitt Romney says Palestinians in Gaza are being killed because of Jamás, not Israel.
Jamás is using its own population, the Palestinian population, as human shields.
Senator Bill Cassidy shared the story of a family.
It's hard to imagine that the good news, the news that makes you happy, is that your seriously injured son is alive, captive in Gaza.
Israel is expected to launch a terrestrial action in Gaza soon.
The US embassy warns all Americans in Gaza to evacuate immediately to the south.
The governor of Florida welcomed the Americans who were stranded in Israel for eight days.
The first big plane left 270 people here.
I think if you noticed, you saw a lot of families with little kids.
So many of these people were in a difficult situation.
They had no help. They couldn't get out of Israel.
And the state of Florida took over and responded to the call.
Florida partnered with the nonprofit search and rescue group Project Dynamo to send the plane to Israel.
This happened when the main airlines canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv after the terrorist attacks of Jamás.
The governor of Santis said he hopes that more flights will be sent in the coming days to bring the Americans back to their homes.
The State Department estimates that more than 20,000 Americans are currently in Israel and Gaza.
Senate Leader Chuck Schumer says the Senate will approve military aid to Israel as soon as possible.
And this will happen even if there is no new president in the House.
We tell Israel, the United States will be with its Israeli ally.
So we will work with the Israeli government and the Biden administration to assemble the most generous package possible.
Now the people will ask, and the House?
We are not waiting for the House.
Schumer said on Sunday that among Israel's requests are additional interceptors for the Iron Dome,
its anti-missile defense system, which has been operating nonstop,
dropping Jamás rockets from Gaza and precision ammunition.
The needs are evolving rapidly over time.
He also urged Israeli leaders to provide efficient humanitarian assistance
while minimizing civilian victims in Gaza.
The Biden administration emphasizes that democracies like ours are stronger and safer when we defend the rule of law.
We told everyone, the Prime Minister of Israel and every Israeli official we met.
We told them that in addition to military aid, intelligence aid, diplomatic aid,
we wanted humanitarian aid, and I told them to find the fastest, safest and most efficient way to do so.
We also told them that it was really important, and it's difficult, we know, but still we have to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza.
Also on Sunday, White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan
said that the Biden administration hopes to promote a new arms package for Israel and Ukraine
through Congress that will be significantly larger than $2 billion.
But it is not clear how any bill will advance through Congress,
currently without a president in the House of Representatives.
Congresswoman Jim Jordan won a secret vote on Friday to be the new Republican candidate,
but will he have the necessary support to win the presidency?
A day after the leader of the majority, Steve Scalise, withdrew from his candidacy,
Republicans in the House of Representatives worked until late to select a new candidate for President of the House.
The runner-up to Wednesday's vote, Representative Jim Jordan,
is now the new candidate, after defeating Georgia Representative Austin Scott in a closed door vote.
We have two days to lobby and make calls to understand why people are not there yet.
After not achieving unity behind Steve Scalise as President of the House,
it is not clear if Jim Jordan, who was second behind Scalise in an internal party vote, can get enough support.
If he cannot get 217 votes, he will have to look for a new candidate.
Austin Scott of Georgia announced his candidacy for President of the House on Friday,
which caused another division in the party.
Any candidate needs to win the majority of the entire House to be elected President of the House,
which currently means 217 votes.
This means that a presidential candidate can only afford to lose 4 Republican votes if everyone is present and voting.
Democrats are expected to uniformly support the leader of the minority in the House,
Hakeem Jeffries.
Some Republicans are anxious to leave behind the complicated internal politics
and go back to work while the fight between Israel and Hamas continues
and the government financing deadline is approaching in five weeks.
The problem has been consistently that we allow emotion to get in the way of logic and the need to naturally govern.
I didn't come here to be emotional, I came here to govern,
and the sooner we get past that, the better off we are.
The CBP reports that yesterday it detained a foreign of special Iranian interest,
and with him it would be the fourth in this same month.
According to Fox News, the detention took place at the border crossing in Eagle Pass, Texas.
The four Iranians are considered of special interest because they come from countries that,
according to the conditions of the United States, promote or protect terrorism
or represent possible threats to national security.
The migrants with this designation are subject to a more strict scrutiny and questions after being detained.
Last week, Border Patrol agents detained two Lebanese nationals in Eagle Pass,
who were also considered of special interest.
The agents detained 19 Iranians and 17 Syrians since Monday in the Valley of the Great River sector.
It could be said that the book of the Professor of Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford,
Jeremy Farrar, from a couple of summers ago, is relatively more honest than most of the stories
that have been published about the decision that was taken to impose confinements both in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
In addition, recently a remarkable series of revelations showed us that the CIA
tried to make payments to the intellectual authors of the confinements,
of which Dr. Anthony Fauci stands out, who could have made several visits to the CIA headquarters
at that time with very defined objectives.
Jeremy Farrar, the British medical researcher who would become the scientific director of the OMS in 2023,
pointed out in his work that he received confidential calls about the outbreak between January 27 and 31, 2020.
The telephone calls he maintained with US and UK officials
worried him to the point of not letting him conciliate his sleep.
Even the British counter-espionage was alerted to the FBI and MI5.
Farrar, who claims to have seen everything in his long years working as a doctor in intensive care and medicine,
could not control his emotions.
He was facing something unknown, a new virus and an endless number of dark questions about his origin.
At that time, as we say, the intelligence services on both sides of the Atlantic were already on alert.
Anthony Fauci also received the news that money had been channeled from his National Health Institutes
to the Chinese laboratory in Wuhan.
This meant that his career was at stake.
So, working in forced marches, the famous document on the next origin was elaborated in record time,
Proximal Origin, in which it was included that the outbreak was not due to any escape from any laboratory.
Seeing it in retrospect, it could be said that the Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2
is one of the most influential scientific articles in the history of mankind.
In February 2020, about a month before the pandemic was declared,
these five famous virologists examined together the aspects of a coronavirus outbreak
that seemed to be prepared to infect human cells.
In March, their conclusions were published in Nature Medicine.
The article served to make most of the media,
the political class of Washington and the community of infectious diseases
repeat that there was no need to examine the laboratories in the same epicenter of the pandemic, in China.
We are talking about the Wuhan Maximum Security Laboratory in China, of course.
And a couple of weeks ago we learned that the CIA has also been involved.
He tried to pay six of these analysts in question,
in addition to the fact that it seems that Fauci made visits to the headquarters of the CIA,
most likely at the same time.
A senior CIA official denounced the fact.
He told Congress that his agency tried to pay the six to make sure they would change their mind
and that they would rule out Wuhan as the origin of the virus.
The presidents of the panel of the House of Representatives
wrote in a letter sent to the director of the CIA, William Barnes,
where they asked him for documents on the communications, the following.
According to the informant, at the end of his review,
six of the seven members of the team believed that the intelligence data
and scientific data would be more than enough to assess,
with a low level of confidence,
that COVID-19 came from a Wuhan laboratory in China.
The informant also maintains that to reach the public conclusion that there were doubts,
the other six members received an important monetary incentive to change their mind.
Suddenly the light came on, or almost,
because until now there was a question that cried out for an explanation.
Why did Fauci change his mind so drastically and precisely
about the convenience of imposing confinements due to the virus?
One day he was advising calm because it was a flu,
and the next day he was raising awareness about the confinements that were approaching.
That day was February 27, 2020,
the same day the New York Times joined the alarmist propaganda
of its main reporter on the virus, Donald McNeil.
On February 26, Fauci wrote to CBS to tell him the following as well.
Do not let fear of the unknown distort the way you assess the danger posed by the pandemic
compared to the dangers you face every day.
Do not give in to irrational fear.
The next day, on February 27, Fauci wrote to actress Morgan Fairchild the following.
Be prepared to face an outbreak in this country,
with measures such as social distancing, teleworking,
the temporary closure of schools, etc.
As a guarantee, more than 20 days passed since Fauci alerted the intelligence services
when he decided to become the spokesman for the closures.
The exact dates of the meetings with the CIA are still unknown.
In general, so far, most of the February 2020 timeline is somewhat confusing,
and although something was happening, it was not known exactly what.
However, we could distinguish between a near cause of closures and a distant one.
The near cause
The near cause, let's say, the most apparent,
is the fear that causes all the escape of a laboratory.
That is, the Wuhan strategy was imitated,
to keep everyone locked up in their homes to stop the spread.
It is possible that they believed that this would work.
At that time, the legend was transmitted word of mouth
that this is how the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak was controlled.
The CIA maintained deals with Wuhan and also with Fauci.
Both were interested in denying the filtration of the laboratory and in stopping the spread.
And the WHO covered them up.
The reasons, let's say, more distant, more distant, are more complicated.
What stands out here is the possibility of a quid pro quo.
The CIA pays scientists to say that there was no escape in the laboratory.
But, on the other hand, it provides instructions to its media, such as the New York Times,
to say that the escape of the laboratory is a conspiracy theory of the far right.
That is, all possible measures were deployed
to keep Fauci off the bench of the accused,
despite having financed the Wuhan laboratory.
As has been documented, the CIA tried to hinder the work of the US president.
Mr. Trump continued his war of spankings with China,
so they planned to reactivate trade with China.
And the confinement, in fact, did it.
How would Fauci and Mr. Trump start
to impose closures and restart trade with China?
Well, taking advantage of these weaknesses, as well as their vulnerability to adulation.
So they pressured him to buy China
the necessary personal protection equipment against the virus.
And they got away with it.
At some point, between March 10th, or possibly as late as the 14th,
Mr. Trump gave the good look.
The press conference in which Fauci read the words
that ordered the closures in that paper took place a little later, on March 16th.
This would be the big turning point.
A few days later, Mr. Trump spoke on the phone with Mr. Xi Jinping
to ask him for material, with the supreme leader of China.
In addition, a closure of this type would greatly please the digital technology industry,
which would experience a huge boost in demand.
It would also favor large corporations such as Amazon and Walmart.
They would remain open while their competitors were closed.
And finally, a massive subsidy from the pharmaceutical industry would be carried out.
And especially the messenger ARN technology,
which would enjoy the merit of having ended the pandemic.
If all this scenario were true,
it would mean that all this time Mr. Fauci has been simply playing a role
as a testifier for much deeper interests and priorities
of the intelligence community led by the CIA.
This wide-ranging change makes sense
why Fauci changed his mind about the confinements,
even at the time he did it.
And although there are still many more details to know,
these new pieces of information seem to guide us
in a new direction that is much more coherent.
A shocking story reported by Newsweek
informs that the FBI is pointing to the followers of former President Donald Trump
in terrorist investigations.
All this prior to the 2024 elections.
The report alleges that the FBI
made a subtle change in language to pursue MAGA,
modified the definition of violent extremism,
anti-government and anti-authority,
going from being the promotion of ideological agendas
to the new promotion of political and social agendas.
And in this way, the FBI supposedly could do something
that it normally could not do,
which is to label the political movement behind the main Republican candidate
as a group that represents domestic violent extremism.
To talk about this, we have Julie Kelly.
She is a political commentator and main collaborator of America Greatness.
She is also the author of 6 de Enero,
how the Democrats used the Capitol protest
to launch a war against terrorism against the political right.
Hi Julie, thank you for being here.
Hi Joshua, thank you very much for inviting me.
So Julie, I think you were ahead in this.
Newsweek reported that the FBI
changed the definition of one of its terrorist designators to IR Trasmaga.
And I understand that the FBI denies having done this.
What is really going on?
Of course it is happening.
Look Joshua, this is an extension of what the FBI
began in 2016 with the operation Crossfire Hurricane,
claiming that Donald Trump was an asset of the Russian government,
of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This extended throughout the term of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Then suddenly we had a political trial
for the phone call to President Zelensky.
Then we had the events of January 6,
which really gave the FBI and the Department of Justice,
under the administration of Joe Biden,
all the opportunity and justification they needed
to extend surveillance beyond Donald Trump,
his associates or his family,
to his voters and followers.
So now that this has been successful,
more than 1,100 Americans are being prosecuted
for the January 6 events.
And now they are inventing the idea
that all of us who support or could vote for Donald Trump
are somehow potential domestic terrorists
that the FBI needs to monitor and keep under control
until the 2024 elections.
Interesting. So what does this designation
of violent extremism, anti-government, anti-authority mean?
What does it mean if they label you with that?
It doesn't mean anything. You can listen to yourself saying it,
and it doesn't sound more than like bureaucratic gallimantia,
which is exactly what it is.
So I don't know what would make you susceptible to this
or fit into this new category that the FBI has created.
I suppose it would be something as innocuous
as something in support of Donald Trump
and against Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Look, I've seen this used repeatedly as evidence
against the accused on January 6.
Any type of meme or publication,
even messages in group chats, encrypted or private.
So this is, as I said, simply an extension
of the January 6 accusation, but this is terrifying.
And look, Joshua, from what you've been reporting,
there is a connection between our government
and the law, national security and intelligence,
far from real threats abroad,
to focus on Donald Trump and his followers.
And now we are seeing the fatal consequences of that.
If what Newsweek says is true,
what does it mean if the FBI is now defining this
as something that is in favor of political and social agendas?
What does that mean for political movements?
Well, this is what they wanted to do with January 6.
And they really thought that the idea of designating it
and anyone who was involved in it as a domestic terrorist
would be a fatal blow to the MAGA movement.
But of course they haven't done it.
And Jack Smith, the special prosecutor,
now with two criminal charges against Donald Trump
for January 6 in classified documents,
has only increased Donald Trump's popularity.
So a lot of this is having the opposite effect.
And we'll see how it develops.
I firmly believe that the FBI has this special designation.
The investigative journalist who revealed it
is making it up.
So it's simply to criminalize the whole movement.
And that's why you see people who are surprised
with that Joshua report, which they really shouldn't.
Because this is what the FBI has been doing
related to Donald Trump since 2016.
I know a lot of people would say,
oh, that's just about January 6.
It has nothing to do with Trump's followers in general.
Are they being pointed out as terrorists
in other cases around that?
We haven't really seen it until now.
But I have reported and I have in my sub-stack
numerous articles about how the Department of Justice
has sought terrorism improvements in the conviction,
even for non-violent criminals,
people who are convicted for something like the obstruction
of an official procedure.
This Department of Justice has asked judges
about what more time in prison means
for those terrorism improvements.
But look, we've already seen that this Department of Justice
is going after the pro-life.
We see the threat label they created for the parents
who are protesting at the school board meetings.
So this is certainly not specifically aimed
at those involved on January 6.
They continue to increase and expand their network
and claim that we are all domestic terrorists
which is a shocking reminder
of what the real terrorists do.
Yes. Well, in that sense, and as we were discussing,
what about the attacks against Israel
and the call for global terrorism attacks
for tomorrow? Do you think that's going to change anything?
Do you think they're going to divert some of those resources
far from IR after Trump's followers?
Does this change anything? What do you think?
No, I don't think it changes anything.
I don't think it's going to change anything.
I think we've lost a little of what the Biden
regime is doing in terms of national surveillance,
police rescuits, accusations, etc.,
against Trump's followers and now they're going to say
that they need more resources to do the job
they should have originally been doing all the time.
Thank you for making it to the end of the show.
This was Maira Jaime. Have an excellent day and see you tomorrow.
