Education is not a pot full of water, but education is lighting a fire.
November has arrived.
On November 20, I would like to thank the teachers.
Today, I would like to introduce to you a very special poem.
With the permission of the Lam Luyen Poetry Club, I would like to introduce it to all of you.
The poem talks about the work of young teachers,
which is extremely difficult, stressful, but also extremely meaningful.
The poem is called Ngoi Gio La Dieu.
I am a young teacher.
Why is it so early to get married?
The night is empty, the day is crowded.
My husband's mother-in-law still complains.
Early in the morning, late at night.
In the house, on the floor, with slippers on the street.
My husband is angry and sad.
The child is warm, gentle, strange.
When I was young, my mother-in-law laughed.
My son is naughty, my son is naughty.
My salary is not enough for me to eat.
So I make a living by giving to others.
It's not a job.
Love is like loving yourself.
I let myself choose the love.
I give myself what I love.
Childhood is like a willow leaf.
I am the wind.
One afternoon, autumn.
There are only a few days left until November 20.
We may be grateful for the work of many teachers,
from school administrators to teachers standing in class to teach,
or teachers as supervisors,
security guards, janitors, all employees,
those who directly or indirectly stand in the way of schools,
but also play a very important role in the career of human beings.
And in that, the work of young teachers
also becomes an extremely important part
because children are like books on the wall,
and we don't know who the children will become.
Maybe a doctor, a doctor, a teacher,
or maybe a business director,
or even the prime minister of a country.
The work of young teachers is extremely difficult.
But I am also very proud.
I wish all teachers, school employees,
good health and always become the spark
in the hearts of the students.
Education is not a bottle of water,
but education is a spark.
Once again, I would like to send my deepest gratitude
to all teachers and employees of schools.
