Lucifer was the most beautiful of the heavenly beings.
His qualities were such that he was caught up by the sin of pride.
His unbridled arrogance made him think that he was equal to God and led a rebellion against the Creator.
To carry out his plan, the evil angel concocted a sophism to convince the other angels,
and the father of the lie was joined by a third of the angelic beings who inhabited the heavens.
The corrupted entities of Lucifer confronted the hosts of Michel,
and the world trembled during this great battle that decided the fate of the universe.
The angelic armies of Archangel Michel and the rebellious victors of the demons were cast from heaven and thrown into hell.
At the bottom of the earth, Lucifer and the other infernal princes used to corrupt the work of God.
Because of his immeasurable pride, Lucifer was associated with the capital sin of pride.
These fallen demons and angels await the days before the return of Christ,
where they will join the Antichrist on earth and fight again the forces of the Creator.
Azazel is one of the fallen angels who rebelled against God.
He was beautiful at the beginning of time, but his magnificence was corrupted after the fall.
Azazel had a carnal relationship with the women who lived on earth.
The fruits of this union will be known as Nephilim.
The descendants of Azazel corrupted the earth and were defeated by the flood of God.
In hell, he is the king of the Shemites, demons that look like goats.
Azazel, who was once an angel, became the archdemon that represents the capital sin that gives anger.
When man is under the influence of Azazel, he usually adorns himself with idolatry.
Belphegor is known as the demon of laziness.
According to some traditions, Belphegor was once the powerful archangel Belphegel.
But when Lucifer's rebellion took place in heaven, he did not join the rebellious angels,
nor did he support the Lord's army of angels.
Because of his inaction, he was considered a deserter and thrown into hell.
According to St. Thomas Aquinas, all sins caused by ignorance originate from laziness.
Because of Belphegor's influence, humans prefer to avoid fatigue and do not attain true knowledge.
The devil is represented sitting in a latrine, which serves as his infernal throne,
and his excrements are transformed into offerings.
Belzebuth is a demon linked to the figure of Baal, an ancient Semitic god of fertility,
and to Zebud, the god of flies.
This mixture gives birth to the figure of Belzebuth, the demon of plague.
He is considered one of the most powerful demons, just behind Lucifer.
His inextinguishable hunger makes him an implacable devourer.
The plagues caused by this demon ravage everything in its path,
which is why it is linked to the sin of greed.
The lord of flies and plagues tortures the souls of those who go to hell with his clouds of flies,
leaving no moment of peace for his victims.
Belzebuth is one of the most powerful demons in hell.
According to some sources, he is surpassed only by Lucifer.
Asmodeus is one of the most powerful infernal demons.
This demonic figure is associated with the capital sin that is lust.
Asmodeus led the inhabitants of Sodom into depravation.
For this, the city suffered the wrath of God and was razed.
The devil also appears in the book of Tobit, where he exerts a strong influence on Sarah.
These husbands always died during their wedding night.
But thanks to the help of the angel Raphael, Tobit managed to push Asmodeus back to hell.
The demon devoted his existence to using the carnal impulses of men to wreak havoc
and alienate those who are under the influence of divine salvation.
Mammon was one of the many pre-Christian deities.
He was subsequently considered an evil figure because he was linked to the sins of avarice and cupidity.
It is said that his appearance resembled that of a noble decrepit with deformed features,
clutching his pockets of silver.
He built in hell a large palace filled with golden veins for his time.
Stupid and cupid men thought it was paradise,
when in fact they would only find damnation.
Jesus was opposed to the cult of money, embodied by Mammon.
Man could not serve Mammon and God at the same time.
Those who are under the influence of Mammon find themselves in an endless quest for money and material goods
and therefore will not find the way to paradise.
According to the Old Testament, there is a giant creature in the depths of the ocean.
Its name is Leviathan.
According to the sacred text of the Jews and Christians,
like all creatures that walk on earth, fly in the air and swim in the waters,
the Leviathan is also a creation of God.
This creature is described in Job's book where God himself describes this colossal monster.
The beast resembled a huge sea dragon.
Men would be consumed by fear as soon as they saw it.
No man is brave enough to dare to awaken such a creature,
since the idea of defeating it would only be an illusion.
God himself describes the powerful Leviathan as a colossal creature carrying incredible power.
The huge monster creates huge waves when it moves.
Its powerful mouth is endowed with formidable teeth.
Its back is protected by rows of shields so close that no air can pass between them.
The Leviathan has a powerful blow that projects lightning.
There is fire in its mouth and smoke in its nostrils.
When this beast rises, even the most powerful flee terrified,
because swords, spears and arrows can do nothing against a creature
whose torso is as hard as the strongest stone.
Nothing on earth can compare to the power of the Leviathan.
But such a creature owes its existence to the will of God,
since like any human being, the Leviathan can only have its food by the grace of God.
The beast inspired the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes in his work Leviathan.
According to Hobbes, man in his natural state, where there is no law,
tends to unleash a quarrel of all against all.
To eliminate this state of anarchy, a social pact is needed,
and when everyone renounces a part of their sovereignty in the name of a figure that has absolute power,
this figure, which would have authority over men, would be the state.
Which, because of its power over men, Hobbes compares it to the gigantic biblical monster known as Leviathan.
