TOD’S |2024 SS |SWarmth Within Minimalism 极简中见温度

The TOD'S Spring/Summer 2024 collection is Walter Chiapponi's last after 4 years as creative director. The collection focuses on contrasting details to create an elusive effect, like slightly different pleat widths, offset colors, and an unfastened waistband on a vest. It incorporates handcrafted knits to soften the minimalist edges. Chiapponi aims to convey the idea that "important things are not obvious," inviting the audience to appreciate the emotional tension in the thoughtful details. 

TOD’S 2024春夏系列是Walter Chiapponi任创意总监4年后为品牌设计的最后一季。系列注重细节反差营造难以捉摸的效果,如褶皱不尽相同、颜色略有偏移、背心下摆腰带未解开等。系列融入手工编织元素，软化极简风格的棱角。Chiapponi希望传达“重要之物并不显眼”的理念，让观众在回味细节中体悟设计的情感张力。
