The fastest education is the fastest education.
Hello, I'm a bean sprout.
Today, we're going to talk about what elementary and junior high school students should do in Gugyeongsu.
There are a lot of kids you meet at school.
Some are tall and some are short.
On the other hand, some kids weigh a lot,
and some kids weigh less.
There's a big difference in appearance,
intelligence, and ability.
Some kids are in the first or second grade of elementary school,
and some kids are in the fourth or fifth grade of elementary school.
On the other hand, some kids are in the fourth or fifth grade of elementary school,
and some kids are in the first or second grade of elementary school.
So when we teach children,
it's important to make the right choice for our child's level.
In particular, low school students are more likely to change,
and their parents are more likely to change.
This customized strategy is more important.
So when you listen to the information and advice of various children's education,
you have to think about whether this is right for our child and make a choice.
I recently told you four things you must do in elementary and junior high school.
What I told you in this video is basically
what all elementary school students should do when they say they study.
If you haven't seen this video,
I'll put a link after this video,
so I hope you'll take a look.
There's an expression in English called one fits all.
One fits all.
Should I say it's a free size?
So I told you that all low school students
basically have to do this.
Then in this video,
it's not a story that fits everyone.
It's a little more specialized story.
I'm going to tell you what you have to do to get ahead of yourself and what you have to do to get ahead of yourself.
Four things you must do to make our child a better child.
I hope you see it today and practice it.
The first thing elementary and junior high school students must do to get ahead of themselves is writing.
Writing has a very excellent effect on developing thinking power.
Human thoughts are very mixed up.
It's in your head, it's in my head,
and it's all tangled up with a lot of thoughts.
This thought, that thought is always mixed up.
And there's no back and forth, so it's a little complicated.
You're thinking a lot right now, aren't you?
You're watching the video, and you're thinking about something else.
But try to think about what you're thinking right now.
Or you can actually write it down.
It's easy to have your own thoughts,
but it's quite difficult to organize them and write them down.
You have to organize what you're thinking,
and you have to summarize it so that it makes sense.
In the end, the reader has to understand that you're writing.
Making it that way is the process of reducing this complicated thought.
So when you write, the child organizes his thoughts very well.
Also, writing is also a way to complete the reading.
Among the children who read,
a small number of them read the book roughly and just look at it.
If you read the book roughly and just look at it,
the effect of reading that we expected will be greatly reduced.
There may be nothing left of what you've read,
and you may not be able to develop as much as you expected.
In this case, if you write together,
the reading will definitely be different.
Because you have to write, the child focuses a little more on reading.
And then you read the book again in the writing process.
All of these are training to read books deeply.
In addition, recently, the importance of writing has been increasing in evaluation.
In the past, we mainly looked at the written evaluation of our midterm and final exams.
But recently, in elementary school, the written evaluation has officially disappeared.
All of them have been replaced by the performance evaluation.
In this kind of performance evaluation, there are more written and written evaluations.
In my case, I replace most of the performance evaluation with writing.
English, speaking, these things have to be done in words.
But in society, science, these things are all written and written like a report.
As I have been teaching children as a teacher for 20 years,
I was able to see that the children who were evaluated in writing were definitely more understanding
and had a positive impact on their next learning.
So, by evaluating through writing, the children's study itself became deeper.
Before that, I was able to see that the children who just memorized the answer to fit the objectivity
had to write it down, so I thought a lot about understanding it properly and knew it really well.
In addition, the Ministry of Education has been reviewing writing, writing, and writing tests since 2028.
Also, there is a trend of college entrance exam, IB.
In order to keep up with this trend, it would be nice if you could strengthen your writing education in advance.
So how should I write?
The most common recommendation is to write a diary.
It's good to write a diary, but I recommend writing in connection with a diary.
You can write a summary of what you read and your feelings.
When you write, don't think you have to write well or a lot.
When you write, you can start with a very small sentence like this.
You can start with a very small sentence like this.
It is important to gradually increase it.
If you start to think about the quality and quantity of the writing from the beginning, it is difficult to write good writing and you don't want to write.
The second thing that elementary school students must do to get ahead is Chinese characters.
You're interested in grammar these days, aren't you?
If you don't have enough grammar, it's a little difficult to listen to and understand the class.
Even if you read textbooks and books by yourself, it's hard to understand what you're saying.
You may not be able to feel this, but you may have experienced it many times in real life.
When you solve a problem, you can't understand an easy problem.
And when you explain it in words, you say,
It's not just because you don't have enough knowledge, it's because you don't understand the problem itself because you don't have enough grammar.
So when you're in elementary school, you have to focus on improving your grammar.
First of all, reading is the most important thing to improve your grammar.
So I gave you the first reading of the activities that elementary and junior high school students must do.
So most of the kids who go ahead study hard.
So to a child who is already reading enough,
It doesn't mean that the effect will continue to increase indefinitely.
Of course, it would be better if you read more.
We always have to think about efficiency.
So read for 30 minutes to an hour.
If you want to read more than that, set it free.
It's important to prepare for a better reading at this time.
First of all, it is important to improve your vocabulary to read better.
If you have a high vocabulary, you can understand the words that come out of the book more deeply when you listen to the class and read the book.
Then you can understand the same words more deeply, so the quality of learning will increase.
The most important thing to improve your vocabulary is reading.
If you read, your vocabulary will naturally improve.
The next thing you have to do is learn Chinese characters.
In Korean, 60% is Chinese characters.
If you learn Chinese characters, you can easily learn the words when you meet new Chinese characters.
For example, a child who learned the word fire is only going to know the word fire.
But if you learn fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, you can learn many words with fire.
For example, when you hear words like flame, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire,
Oh, that's related to fire.
You'll realize it's related to fire in no time.
You'll also understand many words with fire like fire.
So learning Chinese characters is not just learning one vocabulary.
If you learn one, you can easily learn dozens of words to learn in the future.
It is a very important vocabulary learning that should be done before any vocabulary learning.
I'll put up a video on how to learn Chinese characters, so please refer to it.
In this way, try to have a conversation with your child in your daily life.
When you are in the second grade, it is good to use textbooks.
The textbook I recommend is a Chinese character class that I wrote myself.
If you understand Chinese characters deeply through this book,
you will be able to increase your literacy and understand textbooks well.
The third study that elementary and junior high school students must do to get ahead is
thinking and math.
There are a total of four abilities you need to be good at math.
It's calculation, conceptual ability, literary ability, and thinking ability.
If you have all four of these, you'll get a first-grade math exam.
If one of these is not enough, the grade will drop that much.
There's a related video on this, so if you're curious, you can watch it.
In order to improve our child's math skills, we need to improve these four things evenly.
So, in the elementary and junior high school basics, I first emphasized the calculation problem book.
You need to know the calculation to reduce your fear of math and do your best to do the basics.
That's why we start with the calculation problem book.
Next, I emphasized reading.
Reading is a way to get conceptual ability and literary ability.
Lastly, you need to improve your mathematical thinking ability.
For this, it is good to solve the math of thinking ability in the second grade.
The basic thinking ability, which we call the general thinking ability, is developed through reading and Havruta.
But this is a little closer to life.
It's common sense and understands words.
But in order to solve difficult math problems, you need to take one step further.
You need mathematical thinking ability.
That's why it's good to do math of thinking ability in the second grade.
If you look at elementary and junior high school math, you don't need that much thinking ability.
You just need a little calculation.
If you are a child who understands basic common sense clearly, you can do it all.
So, whether you do math in front of your mother or teach math in school or academy,
a common mistake is to teach math like arithmetic.
You don't give the child a chance to think at all.
You don't give them a break, you ask and answer, and you ask and answer, and you train them mechanically.
It's not that you don't need it, but it's a problem to do that alone.
In addition, as the grades go up, the real difference in math skills is divided by mathematical thinking ability.
It's not just like a calculator, it's not just a number of formulas.
In order to understand the problem and solve it,
you have to be able to decide for yourself what concept to bring and how to solve it.
But as I said before, low school math doesn't have this kind of content.
I can't put it in.
There are so many kids who can't do it even if they put in the basics,
so they put in the contents that can only be done with really easy basic repetition training.
So basically, all kids have to do this.
In order to take one step further,
and to see not only low school, but also high school, middle school, and high school,
you have to supplement your mathematical thinking ability,
so I recommend that you do mathematical thinking ability math.
I also uploaded a video on how to improve your mathematical thinking ability.
It's a little more detailed, and basically, it's easy to practice.
It's solving the math problem.
I recommend that you train your thinking ability more than the low school level.
Low school math is too simple.
The problem of the problem doesn't require that much thinking ability.
And it's simple, so there's not a lot of content,
but if you solve the problem according to the unit,
it doesn't look like a good problem.
So, rather, without the unit,
it is much more suitable for elementary and middle school students to freely deal with various parts of mathematics.
The fourth thing that elementary and middle school students must need to get ahead is English reading.
What's the most important way to improve the language ability of our language?
It's reading.
The most important way to improve your foreign language skills is also reading.
We keep encountering our language in our daily lives.
Even if we don't read a book, we meet our friends outside and listen to our language in class.
So there's got to be some input.
We don't encounter English in our daily lives.
So even if you don't read a Korean book, there are children who are good at Korean.
But there are very few children who are good at English without reading English.
Of course, if you've lived abroad, or if you've used English videos really well,
there are children who have improved their listening and speaking skills.
But most children don't, of course.
So how can we beat a child who has lived abroad,
and a child whose parents speak English freely,
and a child whose English exposure is too good?
Yes, the only way is English reading.
The only way to constantly encounter English in Korea is English reading.
Of course, you can teach English based on listening and speaking.
But as the school year goes up, you have no choice but to see the limits.
You have no choice but to be at a disadvantage in the long run.
Elementary English education is basically based on communication.
It's all about listening and speaking.
Reading and writing are auxiliary.
So until you're in elementary school,
you can get good results even if you focus on listening and speaking.
But the problem is when you're in middle and high school.
Unlike elementary English classes, which are based on playfulness and communication,
Middle and high school English is based on reading and playfulness.
Reading and interpreting textbook sentences is a part of middle and high school classes.
Of course, there's vocabulary and grammar in here,
but the basics are playfulness.
All midterms, finals, and CSATs are based on reading and playfulness.
If you're good at listening and speaking, you'll be able to keep up.
It's much more advantageous and easier to put reading and writing on the floor from the beginning.
So how do you read English?
First of all, make sure you read a picture book and a reader's book regularly.
At first, you start with reading.
It's a habit of reading a little bit every day.
Make sure you listen to the voice when you read.
Because you need input.
So it's coming in through your ears.
And you're talking along with it.
Through this, we focus on reading.
Listening and speaking at once.
It's called one cue.
As so many parts are solved at once,
You can learn very efficiently and effectively.
If it's hard for your parents to read it for you,
You can use SayPen or YouTube.
These days, if you type in the title of the book on YouTube,
You can find almost all the videos that read it.
In the case of a reader's book.
That's why I hope you use it well.
There's something that needs to be done before reading English.
You have to read Korean first.
If you don't read Korean,
It's a little hard to get a good impression of the book.
And I don't have a habit of reading books.
I don't have enough hip strength.
The shortcomings of Korean reading lead to difficulty in English reading and overall learning.
Since you were a kid, you've been reading books in Korean.
You have to take the reading time and go to the plus.
In order to move forward,
You have to do something extraordinary, unlike others.
Of course, you have to be strong before that.
If the basics are solid,
It's important to keep moving forward step by step.
I've told you four things today.
Writing, Chinese, vocabulary, and finally English reading.
If my child has exceeded the basic level,
Try these four things.
I want you to level up your child one more step.
A lot of parents who always do their best for their children.
I'll be rooting for you.
