Hello everyone. Today is a cold rainy day in Da Lat.
I'm filming in a garden near a banana tree.
As you can see, I just plucked a banana in the garden to eat.
This is just a green banana tree.
But in the garden, the banana is always ripe.
I just plucked it and ate it.
I just put it on the tree and ate it.
Then I went to another tree and it was ripe again.
This is a very nourishing fruit for the family.
It is rare and often available.
In the morning, I also have an inspiration to make coffee.
And share with you all about the life we are having.
To make it as wonderful as a festival every day.
Free in every moment.
And peaceful in every situation.
How do we do that?
We are always caught up in stereotypes, fears, prejudices, comparisons, and distinctions.
We are always confused and bored.
We want to achieve this and that.
Then we get bored.
Then we want to achieve this and that.
Then we get bored.
Then we want to achieve other things.
We never stop.
We don't need to achieve anything to be happy and free.
As the Buddha answered the question of what he had achieved in the process of meditation,
he said, I didn't achieve anything.
What we have achieved is to let go.
And we let go of the uncertainty.
Of course, we have achieved a great thing, which is to return to ourselves.
And what we have is not what we have achieved, but what we already have.
We already have it.
We already have wisdom.
We already have intelligence.
We already have light.
We already have this universe.
And a wonderful, indestructible, permanent self.
Never damaged, never hurt.
But in life, we have too much harm and damage.
Because we keep thinking that we are this material life.
But it's not true.
We often equate ourselves with our property.
We think that we are A, B and C.
And we think that we are a rich man.
I am A and I am a rich man.
I am B and I am an artist.
I am C and I am a businessman.
Actually, it's not.
It's not.
It's the layers and the layers.
It's not our nature.
When we rely on those layers, those layers,
we always suffer.
Because they are unusual.
And they will be lost.
And at some point, they will be lost.
They will change.
Like we equate ourselves with...
An empress will equate herself with that beauty.
And she suffers because her beauty is getting worse and worse.
A rich man.
We equate ourselves with A, B and C.
I am the richest man in this province.
In that province.
And we start to suffer.
Because there will be richer people.
Or we suffer because our property is only there.
It can't be more than a mansion in the US or Hong Kong.
And they start to collect a lot of property to prove that they are rich.
And there is never a mansion in there.
And they are worried about how to make their property more and more developed.
And they start to invest everywhere.
Invest, invest, invest, invest.
And they get a lot of benefits.
And finally, they feel unhappy.
The same with an artist.
They equate themselves with their fame.
With their fame as a famous artist.
And they start to suffer because of that.
Because they see that their glory is not as bright as it used to be.
In the past, wherever they went, they were all famous.
And in the past, they were beautiful.
They were tall.
They were well-known.
And now, every day, their voice is getting lower.
Their beauty is getting older.
And their age is getting older.
Because there are always changes in their life.
And they start to feel pain.
And until the end of their life, if they don't sleep, they will feel pain until the end of their life.
That's what we observe in this society.
In our society.
So, why do some people not bring property?
They still have property.
And they don't change.
They don't change their mood.
They don't change their life.
Because the property is always around them.
Because they already have a spiritual life in their heart.
A spiritual life.
They see that everything is theirs.
All of this universe is theirs.
Everything is one.
They are very rich.
There is a saying in Buddhism.
When we give up everything, we get everything.
We get everything.
We don't have to distinguish.
I am this kind of person.
You are that kind of person.
I belong to this family. You belong to another family.
I own this country. You own another country.
I am rich. You are poor. I am poor. You are rich.
Comparison and distinction.
And competition.
They make us crazy.
But when we see that everything is one.
When we enter the spiritual life.
And we understand that everything is one.
Children of one family.
Brothers of one family.
We become full of love.
Full of compassion.
And full of understanding.
That understanding makes us love.
We become compassionate.
We become joyful.
In every moment.
And we don't have to distinguish.
And that's why we feel so happy.
When we have everything.
We have a lot.
We have everything.
And we have everything.
We have everything.
