Hi, welcome to Focus Talk. I was at the Conservative Minority Conference at Dallas last week and
had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Trevor Loudon. Mr. Loudon is an author, filmmaker
and public speaker from New Zealand. For more than 30 years, he has researched radical left,
Marxist and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics.
In this interview, he talks about the communism infiltration in the United States and the alliance
between the Chinese Communist Party and the American left.
So Trevor, it's great to meet you and thank you for taking the time to talk to us.
Pleasure, Jenny. Thank you for having me.
So this is the Minority Conservative Conference. So first, could you tell us
why you're attending this conference?
Well, I think the minority population in America is very important because a lot of them have
fled countries that are some form of tyranny, communism or oppressive authoritarian.
So they understand evil more so than many Native Americans do. Most Native Americans
have lived a very comfortable life in the freest, richest land on the planet.
But the minorities have a story. They have a story of oppression. They have a story of
socialism and tyranny, and they have a very important message for the American people.
They can identify what is happening the way many Native-born Americans can't.
So I think a conference like this, which unites the minorities, brings them together,
expands their voice, is useful for everybody. I think it's a fantastic initiative.
Yeah, talking about minority sharing their story, I interviewed Ms. Sheevan Fleet just a few
weeks ago. She was the Virginia mom who spoke out against CRT at the Sloughton County School
Board meeting. So she compared the situation in America today to the Cultural Revolution
period in China. And when I was talking to her, she said that she feels the communism
infiltration in America is complete. She said it shows up everywhere, school, corporations,
media and entertainment, and even military. So exactly how serious is this communist
infiltration in America today? Well, I think it's as serious as it gets.
It's in every facet of our lives, the churches, the military. This has been a hundred-year march,
coordinated first by the Soviet Union, now by communist China, to infiltrate every major area
of American life. So business, they've used money. In politics, they've used money and ideology.
They've been working in the universities and the education system. Now even the preschool,
even the five-year-old kids are being indoctrinated. Communism has always had a plan.
It's always had a plan of world domination. And the major impediment to that has been a free
United States. So for a hundred years now, the Soviets, the Cubans, the Chinese Communist Party
have been infiltrating, buying influence in America, taking over American institutions,
labor unions, etc. And that really accelerated. At the start of the Obama administration, it really
went on steroids. And now we're seeing the fruits of a hundred years of infiltration.
We are this close to toppling. Every major institution is dominated by the far left,
by communists, by Chinese agents, by enemies of America. So we have to get active because we have
very little time left to stop this. So those professors who taught these
Marxism ideology in school first, do they know or are they willing to do this or are they just
being used by the communists behind them? Well, they mainly know what they're doing.
During the Vietnam War, you had thousands of young Americans who were sympathetic to the Viet
Cong, were sympathetic to communist China, to Cuba, and they became communists in the 1960s and
1970s. And then they were sympathetic to the Nicaraguan Sandinistas. So the 60s to the 80s,
you had a big influx of young communists in America. Well, they are now running corporations.
They are now running Hollywood. They are now running political parties. They're controlling
virtually every major educational institution in the country. They're even in the churches.
So those 60s and 70s revolutionaries are now running America, just like the 70s revolutionaries
in South Korea have now come to power in South Korea. They want to impose their views,
their pro-North Korean views on the whole country. You see this in Canada. The same people are
running Canada. The same people are running France and Germany and Italy. The 60s, 70s,
and 80s revolutionaries are now in power in most Western countries,
and they want their revolution before they die. They actually believe this stuff.
You know, it's interesting because in China in the 60s, there was this cultural revolution
in violence. But in Western world, you're saying that there's a similar revolution
only in a non-violent way. It's almost like a delivery. It doesn't like a coincidence.
What I see now, we're in a Maoist cultural revolution now. We are tearing down statues,
just like they did in China. We're not burning books. We're suppressing books. We're taking
people off Facebook. In those days, they burnt books and they burnt libraries. It's more
sophisticated now because it's electronic. But the mass line, the Maoist mass line is being imposed.
You have to love Black Lives Matter. You have to get a vaccine. You have to believe
that Joe Biden won the election. You have to believe that President Trump was a horrible
racist. There are these narratives that you have to believe. If you don't, you will be cancelled.
You will be suppressed. You will be sidelined. You will lose your job. This is very similar
to the Chinese cultural revolution. It's a cleansing of the old and an institution of a
new way of doing things, a new culture, a new system. It's just as communist as it was under Mao.
What do you think is the role of the CCP in all of this?
The CCP is the main coordinating factor. The CCP is behind Black Lives Matter, for instance.
The CCP has huge influence in universities through their Confucius Institutes,
through the grants they give to certain institutions, through the infiltration,
through taking professors and sending them to China and giving special trips on the Yangtze
River and whatever, educational opportunities. John Ratcliffe, Trump's intelligence advisor,
said the CCP had blackmailed and co-opted so many American congressmen that they could determine
which legislation passes the US Congress and which doesn't. There's hardly an institution
in America that is not touched by the CCP. In Hollywood, when they tried to make the movie
Red Dawn, the original Red Dawn was about a Soviet invasion of America. So they were going to remake
it about a Chinese invasion of America. But the Chinese Communist Party stopped that,
and they made a very bad movie about a North Korean invasion of America instead.
The Chinese have pretty much editorial control over Hollywood. They can determine which movies
get made and which don't, as they have control over many American newspapers, TV stations,
and obviously Big Tech, because Big Tech wants the Chinese market.
The condition of that is co-operating with the Chinese Communist Party.
Talking about Big Tech, just yesterday, I think I just read the news that someone posted a Facebook
post saying, I'm Taiwanese or Taiwan is a country, something like that. His account got suspended.
You cannot say Taiwan is a country. This is a sovereign country with a well-established
government. But the Communist Party of China believes that Taiwan is a Chinese province.
So that is the mass line. That is the line we all must support. And if we don't support that,
we can be taken off Facebook, or we can lose our job. So that is the level of dictatorial control
the Chinese Communist Party has over American Big Tech. And everybody is influenced by American
Big Tech, by Facebook and Twitter. Even if you're not on those platforms,
your thinking is still influenced by them. So this is Maoist mass line. Everybody must think
what the party says you must think. Even when you're not in China?
Even when you're not in China, even when you're 10,000 miles away from China,
the Chinese Communist Party is still calling the shots. When COVID started,
the Chinese Communist Party International Department issued a letter, which was signed
by 230 world communist parties. The letter was, everybody must say this. COVID is not China's
fault. China is leading the world in fighting the COVID. China's wonderful socialist healthcare
system is so much better than dealing with COVID to the chaotic system they have in America.
And those points were picked up by CBS and NBC and the mainstream American media,
but they came from the International Department of the Communist Party of China.
Talking about the information war, Shang just mentioned in his speech,
there's this recent FireEye report. I don't know if you have seen it.
The what, sorry?
FireEye report. It's an intelligence report. I think they issue this report every year. So in
this recent report, most recent one, they said that they noticed there's this pro-CCP influence
campaign that's growing. It expands to dozens of social media platforms, websites in at least
seven languages. They initially noticed this network back in the June of 2019. Now it expands
quickly and they use the COVID origin and this racism thing to distribute the narrative,
like the kind of narrative that you said.
If you blame the Communist Party of China for the virus, you're a racist.
Yeah. You have to look at US, look at the military base in US, what happened there.
And they even in the report, they said that they found evidence that shows that this
influence campaign, it's not just online. They're trying to mobilize protesters in New York
back in April this year to go out, go to the street, to take this to the street and to protest
the racism.
Well, we're seeing this grow. You extrapolate that three, four, five years down the track.
This is going to be the dominant narrative everywhere. China has all sorts of assets in
this country. In New York, they have Asian Americans for Equality, which used to be the
Communist Workers Party. Now it's a big organization on the Lower East Side that has lots of government
money and influences people like Chuck Schumer and Carolyn Maloney, congressmen. They attend
their functions. In Boston, they have the Chinese Progressive Association, which does the same thing.
In San Francisco, they have the Chinese Progressive Association. They have these networks
that are on the ground promoting the Chinese Communist Party narrative, holding street rallies,
demonstrations, co-opting local politicians, because they control who gets elected in their
areas. They can have a lot of influence on local American politicians in certain areas of the
country. That's only expanding. If Xi Jinping was the president of the United States right now,
I don't think we would notice very much difference, really.
Well, you just said we're this close to being subverted. But I have a feeling that a lot of
Americans don't seem to be aware of it. What do you think, to average Americans,
what do you think is their recognition level in terms of communism?
Well, what they see, they see the COVID. They see it came from China. They don't trust the
Communist Party of China. They see Black Lives Matter burning their streets. They see an election
was stolen. What they don't do is connect the dots that all of these things are related, and all of
them come back to the Communist Party of China. They see these isolated problems. They see critical
race theory in the schools. They see environmental problems. They see the fact that the Biden
administration is doing crazy, crazy stuff. They see the horrible disaster in Afghanistan.
They don't see the Chinese Communist Party connections in all of these things.
The American public deeply distrusts the Communist Party of China now. They are very,
very concerned. If they really knew how much influence there was, and the Black Lives Matter
was a Communist Chinese operation, and that China had networks of voter registration organizations
on the ground in all of the key states, that the Chinese deliberately spread the virus to
this country, that they control a lot of American politicians. If more Americans connected these
dots, they would be livid. The Communist Party of China is a big issue with people now.
It would be a massive issue if we could connect more of these dots for people, which is what
NTD TV does. It's what Epoch Times does. It's what conferences like this are doing.
You have a lot of leaders here from different minorities who are going to take what they learned
here today back to their people and spread it around. I'm actually more optimistic than you
think I might be. I see the danger. I see the subversion. But I travel around the country,
and there are millions of people who are now getting active, who two years ago were not active.
They're getting into the Republican Party. They're fighting critical race theory. They're
on the recall out in California. They're doing all these things because they understand
they could lose their country. They've never felt that way before. They've always known
there are problems. They've always been worried. But now they know they could lose this country.
Sometimes you have to almost lose something before you really appreciate what you have.
Yeah, that's what happened with Sivan Fleet. She said she didn't realize how serious
it was until last summer when she saw BOM activists burning the city. It brought back
the Cultural Revolution memory for her. Right. She's safe in America. I've got away from all
of this stuff. I don't have to worry anymore. Hang on. They're burning like cities. They're
ripping down statues. I remember this. I've seen this before. She's connected the dots,
and she's active. There are millions more people like that connecting the dots too.
The Chinese Communist Party has its finger in virtually every pie in this country.
Americans are aware of some of it. Even things like Fentanyl. What, 80,000 kids a year die?
It's from the Communist Party of China. Nothing leaves China without the Communist Party of China
okaying it. It can't happen. 90,000 kids dead. 80,000 to 90,000 kids dead a year
so we can buy cheap garbage in Walmart. That's the deal. That's the trade-off we get for that.
Lastly, about the Afghanistan situation. The U.S. finally withdrew from Afghanistan and Taliban
took over power. A lot of people are worried that the terrorism risk would increase. But on
the other hand, people argue that the U.S. should withdraw from Afghanistan because they should
divert their attention to the Indo-Pacific area where the CCP is a major threat. What do you
think? The U.S. has just handed Afghanistan to China. With all those rare earth minerals,
with all that lithium, with all of those resources, very strategic.
Bagram military base will probably be turned over to China. The U.S. in a time where Russia
and China were increasingly aggressive, had a very firm base on the border of those countries,
right strategically there. Now it's given it to China. All that's done is encourage
Chinese aggression in the Pacific. That's not discouraging it. That's just going to make it
easier for China to attack Taiwan, to bully Japan, to complete their conquest of South Korea,
which they're well on the way to doing, to keep bullying the Philippines, Australia.
You've basically taken away one front that the Chinese had to worry about.
It's like in World War II. Let's close down the Russian front so the Germans can just fight
Britain. Hitler's big mistake was he tried to fight on two fronts. Now you've just taken away
one front for China to worry about. They don't have to worry about that front.
Afghanistan was a good buffer between China and India. The Indians are now less secure than they
were. Afghanistan and Pakistan and China will all work together. You've basically given the
enemy control over Central Asia, which is going to embolden them in the Pacific. So it's a lose
lose for America. I don't see any upside in this at all. People say, Biden was so stupid.
Why do you take the military out? Why do you not destroy everything? Why do you not remove all your
tanks and armored personnel carriers? Why would you do that unless you're really stupid?
These people aren't stupid. They know the consequences. They have just handed
billions of dollars of material to an enemy of the United States.
Now that is not stupidity. That is way beyond stupidity.
Sounds like the situation is really bad right now.
Yeah, it is. It is bad.
To our, let's say our average audience, you know, their average, their Chinese, Chinese Americans,
their parents, small business owners, what do you think they could do?
Elections matter. I know we're not supposed to be partisan here,
but four years of President Trump, we had one of the most peaceful periods in world history.
We didn't have any major war start. The Communist Party of China was put in its box.
Putin was pushed back in the Ukraine. The Iranians were put in their place.
We had a period of peace. This is all unraveled in the last few months because we've had a change
of administration. So every minority person, every Chinese person who lives here, if you came to this
country to live free, you need to understand that you need to get involved in saving this country.
If you want to get rid of the CCP, save America. You want to save the Philippines,
work now to save America. You want to save Japan. You want to save South Korea.
Get involved in the American politics on the ground. Get involved in precinct committees.
Make sure that the next election brings way more conservatives to power in this country.
If I want to save New Zealand, I know I have to help save America.
Is that why you moved to America now?
It was a large part of it. Yeah, it was because I could see my country now has a Marxist prime
and she has led the country into the arms of communist China. Our previous prime minister,
who was a conservative, started the Belt and Road Initiative with China. That is like inviting the
mafia into your country. That is like inviting organized crime into your country. So I understood
that if America falters, every free country will fall. Everyone. I'm a coward. If there was a safe
place to go to, I'd already be there. I would already be there building bunkers and stocking
up on baked beans. I'd already be there. But there is no safe haven now. America is the final stand.
If we can return America to its constitutional roots, if we can reorientate this country,
and put good leadership in the military, revamp the intelligence services,
actually start putting traitors in jail, we have to do that. We can become the world leader for
freedom again. If Trump had got a second term, I think the Communist Party of China would have
been destroyed. That's a great tragedy. You imagine a free China with all that history,
all that culture, all that entrepreneurship, and that work ethic harnessed towards good
rather than evil. What an opportunity we lost there. We have to put that back on the table.
We have to be aiming to end the Communist Party of China. We have to be aiming to
end the Communist Party of North Korea, the Communist Party of Cuba, the Venezuelan communists.
We have to not just be containing these people. It's like organized crime, the mafia. You don't
contain the mafia. You destroy the mafia. You liberate the people. We have to make that our
national objective. It's no good just promoting freedom and free enterprise.
We all have to be active anti-communists at a local level and at a national level.
We have to rid the world of communist governments, or otherwise we're going to be fighting
for our survival and our freedom forever. I think one of the key things is to increase
awareness, to recognize evil when you see it. That's right. That's what you're doing.
Look, absolutely. We have to understand this is evil, the evil of the Communist Party of China.
When it could have been finished during the Korean War, America could have marched into
China and liberated that country. We didn't want to confront the evil of North Korea
until they had nuclear weapons. We leave it too late all the time. Now we are risking
not just the freedom of some countries, the freedom of every country. The reckoning is now.
We've racked up the credit card too long. We've got to pay the bill. We have got to strengthen
our countries. We've got to strengthen America. We've got to strengthen every free country,
South Korea, every free country in the world. We've got to join together. Our goal has to be
to end the Communist Party of China and its allies and to liberate China so China can be
part of the civilized world again, so it can contribute rather than be a parasite
on the world as it is now. It sounds like the responsibility is
and mission of our generation. It is the responsibility of our generation.
Sixty years ago, the responsibility was to stop the Nazis, to stop the Imperial Japanese Army.
That was the evil of the time. The evil of our time is the Communist Party of China
and its tentacles around the world. It is our responsibility and our time to stop that.
That is our duty to our children and our grandchildren and all that come after us.
That is our duty to history. Well, I hope we fulfill our duty.
We have to. We will. Thank you so much, Mr. Loudon.
It's great to talk to you, Jenny. Great talking to you.
Yeah, pleasure.
