Platz rangieren konnten.
Hello everyone and welcome to my new video.
Today Solido and I are going to the first tournament of the season.
There you can see him. I've already put him in.
I still have to sew it up and then we're done.
And then we start.
Today we ride two tests at the same time.
Well, of course not really at the same time, but they run at the same time.
One on the jumping pad and one in the dressing room.
First we start in the E-Style Jump.
It starts at half past one, we are sixth horse.
And then we saddle around and go straight to the test hall.
To the M-Dressing Room, where we are eighth horse.
Of course I'll take you with me today for the start of the season.
I hope you have a lot of fun with the video.
And then I'll just say see you soon.
So, the pigtails look ready now.
I'll do the ponytail right away at the tournament.
Now we can already load up.
Then one is bandaged here.
Because the pole in my trailer is still too high.
Hmm, delicious hay.
One is happy.
Yes, no comment on that.
So, we don't need that long now.
I think ten more minutes, then we'll be there.
And of course I've chosen my time a little tight again.
That means I'll get ready for the jump right away.
And ride down with Zulilo.
Ride him off a bit.
I'm relatively at the beginning.
And shortly before half past one, I think the course will be released.
And then I'll leave him.
And then it starts. I'm really excited.
Hello Ursel.
Are you already full of stress or what?
Yes, two weeks.
But it doesn't start yet.
All right, okay.
Hello Zuli, we've already arrived.
Can we get you out?
My bandage has held.
Looks pretty good.
Zuli, come out.
Fine, great.
Etta, please.
So, exactly.
Until the end.
Back there are my sister and my brother-in-law.
And my mom.
The cool ones with the convertible.
The upper hand.
Can you do it?
One hour?
One hour.
I just heard, yes.
We have to see now,
whether this will work with the M version,
because it is there at the same time.
Okay.
I'll come down now and then I'll ask the driver.
Zulilo then first took a cool box from a tuner,
which I thought was totally nice of her.
Until it could finally go to the jump test.
I commented on it here,
because it didn't go quite as I imagined it to.
Here you can see for the first time
how I get in there with Zuli.
Normally he is totally relaxed
when we ride into the jump parkour.
No idea what he had,
but I tried to get him to stand
to greet the judges.
With the friendly support of Clip My Horse
I got this recording again
in professional quality.
I would like to thank you for that.
That was Henrike Kölschbach.
And now Anja Mertens from Oranjehof.
And her pony is called Consolido.
Yes, I finally managed to greet it here.
And the attentive viewer will also notice
that Zulilo is a bit of a nuisance here,
because I allegedly give too much help.
The problem is very simple,
that he is totally scratched up here
and actually just wants to run.
Zulilo is a little passer since I got him,
even if you don't believe that.
Yes, quite, quite a lot of routes
with me in the race gallop,
where I couldn't do anything anymore.
That's why I already know that from him.
On the first jump the whole thing went quite well,
on the second I lost a bit of control
back there, wanted to fight with him a bit,
then nothing worked anymore
and then we practically flew through the jump.
I was told afterwards
that I would have actually been through,
that is, I could have ridden on
and it would have been just a stick mistake,
but the whole thing was so unpleasant
that I praise him here all the time,
where some also said afterwards,
why are you praising the pony,
it just made a mistake.
Well, the mistake was not just with Zulilo,
but in our communication.
He wanted to run, I wanted to go back,
I wanted control,
the whole thing didn't fit anymore
and then that's how it came about.
I then decided to kick him a little
while they were building up back there.
I also kicked him on the wrong foot,
but I didn't notice at the time,
that it didn't work either.
You can see, he's totally scratched up here,
he usually kicks in some great
hamstring or something,
but not in the jump parkour.
Well, I don't know what he had,
maybe because it was the first tournament
of the season, no idea.
In any case, we really had our difficulties there.
Now I wanted to gallop him,
but he just wanted to kick in the stick,
so I parried again.
The whole thing looks very ugly,
I know that too, but you know
you can see that there are also
totally bad days.
I gallop him and he just attacks me again.
Of course, I don't give up now,
just because we've been through the jump once.
However, Solido was then so insecure
and thought, before I hurt him again,
I'll just stop again.
At that moment I thought,
great, and what now?
Of course I stroked him again,
praised him again, because I just didn't want
him to be afraid of the jump now,
because he might have hurt a little
I thought, come on,
I'll try it again now,
and if we get out now, then we're out.
But maybe it works too,
then I galloped again.
The lower bar is also okay?
And the reason why I gallop so slowly,
is because the bar was not yet properly
hung in, but now it's in.
Now I closed the legs a little more
and I galloped a little more
and then he jumped, thank God.
Then I thought, come on,
just finish the course,
you can't overcome all jumps,
getting out is always stupid.
You can also see here how he really gallops
under my ass.
So I didn't have much control
and that's just stupid,
even if it's an e-jump,
where he easily gets over,
the control just has to be there.
Here I let him go a little more,
because I have the feeling that
if I do too much on the hand
and disturb him too much,
I even praised him again after the jump.
This is now the penultimate jump.
It didn't fit that well either,
but we still overcame it.
And at this point I thought,
come on, we can do the one last jump.
Even if we are a bit
uncommunicative again,
I was really happy
that he took it,
that we finished the course.
Of course, the rating didn't look
that great.
Yes, that was quite a shame to me.
You passed twice in jump 2.
You were already 2.5 on your own.
And then with the time,
when you were already over,
he unfortunately didn't want
to do any more laps.
Solido!
Soli got a cool, shady box,
which is very good for the temperatures.
He doesn't have to stand on the trailer
until we drive straight to the M-dressing room.
Oh, he's gone.
So, I'm taking Solido with me again.
He's done a little break in the box
and now we're going to the trailer
with the M-dressing room on it.
We are 24th horse.
Yes, the e-jumping wasn't quite as good.
Solido was a bit grumpy
and wanted to run a lot.
I tried to counteract
and hold him.
Unfortunately, it didn't work
in jump 2.
He jumped through it
because he didn't know
if he should jump off or not.
When we started the second run,
he was a bit insecure
and we finished the parkour
without any mistakes.
Of course, there were no points
because we got so many time errors
that there were so many jumps.
But I don't think it's bad.
It was our first jump tournament this season
and you can't always agree.
So I don't blame him.
I would have let him run through it.
We probably would have had a few jumps
because of stick errors.
I'll have to think about
how to solve this more skillfully next time.
We are so smart
that we already cleaned up
everything from the box.
So I don't have anything
to hold him to.
I took a rope.
But you don't have to worry.
Solido knows how to be led by a rope.
I can even lead him without a rope.
But I thought that was a bit too easy
when a dog or a child
was running against him.
That's why I took a rope.
And now we can go to the hangar.
We are almost at the end of our drive.
Thank you so much for joining us.
See you again in our next video.
