Fans show support for Twins in ALDS

Thanks for joining us tonight. We're going to go straight to Target Field, where we are two hours into tonight's sold-out Game 3, and the Twins have yet to score against the Astros. The series is tied right now at one game apiece. Tonight, we have team coverage of the ALDS. Livergoose starts us off. Hi, Lou. Hey there. Yeah, it was kind of a gut punch right away in the first inning when the Astros hit a home run and took an early 4-0 lead. It's 5-0 Houston right now, but the good thing is Target Field is packed, and the fans have not given up. Royce Lewis at the plate just got a huge ovation, people chanting MVP, because they believe that this team can do it. Now, there were fans lined up outside the Kirby Puckett Gate at noon for the 3 PM game. It feels weird to describe Twins fans as having swagger, but that's really what it felt like here. More confidence than they've had in decades after winning the wild card series, then the big win in Houston Sunday night. I think fans just think that this Twins team has been put together differently. We have pitching and some timely hitting. We've got a new guy that can carry the team, an old guy in Correa, and he's not even that old, I guess. But he's got the leadership, and we've got two workhorses at the front of the rotation. So another inning that ends in disappointment. The Twins still haven't scored, but we'll check back at 6 o'clock and hopefully have some better news to share. Back to you. Oh, no. We sure hope so, Lou. Thanks a lot.
