Older person assaulted at night in a nursing home: Police ignored calls

On October 2, Hu, a resident of Jiayuan Hongjun Residential Area in Wenjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, located across from the Kangxinyuan Nursing Center in Chengdu, reported that at around 10 p.m. on September 27, she was putting her child to sleep in her room when she suddenly heard a noise coming from the nursing home across the street. She heard hands hitting a person's body and an older person screaming.
