In The Park (1915) - Charlie Chaplin

A tramp snatches a girl's bag, but when he then tries to pick Charlie's pocket, he spills his cigarettes and matches. He rescues a hot dog vendor from a thug, but scores a fewof his own with his walking stick. When the thief tries to make off with some of Charlie's sausages, Charlie grabs the bag back. The bag makes its way from person to person until it finds its owner, who is furious that her boyfriend didn't protect her in the first place. The boyfriend decides to throw himself in the lake in despair, and Charlies helps him. Until the police arrive on the scene, and mayhem erupts! Charles Chaplin, Leona Anderson, Billy Armstrong.
