Welcome to SUGOISO JAPAN HE!
A collaboration exhibition with Pocket Monster at the Gohho Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, began on September 28th.
This collaboration is a project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the same museum,
and exhibits pictures of popular characters such as Pikachu, Eevee, and Kabigon, drawn in Gohho style.
The exhibition period is until January 7, 2024.
At the Gift Shop, which is located in the museum,
collaboration goods with Pokemon are also on sale,
but many people have left the shop and it is literally in a chaotic state.
The state of the chaos is left in the video,
and it is now a big topic on the internet outside of the Netherlands.
I will introduce the reaction of overseas to this news.
Yes, it was a good time for our Netherlands to have a collaboration with Pokemon.
I went today. If you don't go soon, it will be sold out in no time.
I arrived at 12.45, but there was no goods left.
I can't see the child at all.
Rather, it is better not to be there,
because there is a possibility that you will be surrounded by adults who don't care about the surroundings and get injured.
Ha ha ha, to tell the truth, I'm one of them.
Even in the US version of IGN, this chaos is exposed and it's funny.
Originally, it's for children,
so you have to change it to something limited to under 16 years old.
The news of young people has become an interesting age.
Did the museum not know the popularity of Pokemon?
Oh, I'm scared to go.
I was looking forward to it so much until it started.
I wanted to go too.
Adults ruined beautiful things.
It's a video that makes you realize the reality of your country.
I was planning a special weekend,
but if it's like this, I'll cancel it.
Gohko must have been shocked by that world.
There is a way to solve that chaos.
All the goods should be sold online.
This morning, I was just passing in front of the museum by roadside train.
Hmm, I was thinking about going this week,
but if it's like this, all the goods will be sold out.
No, I'm going to go soon, but I'm scared now.
I thought this would happen when Pokemon came.
So I decided not to go until I settled down.
I wanted a Pokemon mat for children to play on.
To do that, I have to battle with the people there and win there.
In such a place, even if the game system is a draw...
No, if such a cool event is held,
I think it can't be helped that people will gather.
Even so, it's too wild.
Do these people know about Gohko?
In such a case, it's okay to buy up to one product per person.
If you do that, it's fair, and it's also a countermeasure against sales.
If I had at least three items per person,
I don't think this much chaos would have happened.
One positive thing is that no one is crazy about smartphones.
Everyone is living that moment hotly.
If this is the Japan I live in now, this won't happen.
People who want to sell go out of Japan, so Japan is the same.
I didn't expect it to be so popular.
Literally.
Isn't it popular at the next level?
I, who is 163 cm tall, was also at that site.
How many people literally took everything from me?
It was really an impossible situation.
The staff were super friendly and nice people,
but the customers were really disappointing.
This museum is now dominated by Japanese goods.
When I went there, there was nothing left.
I think the museum should have done a better job.
I was looking forward to it.
Let's increase the number of Pokemon events in Europe.
If we do that, this won't happen.
It's a shame it turned out like that.
Even if it's replenished, it'll be gone by the end of the day.
It would be nice if the love for Pokemon and Gohko
were quietly, as intended, fused.
