The Dior 2024 spring/summer collection continues Maria Grazia Chiuri's design ethos of incorporating contemporary spirit into traditional Dior styles. The runway backdrop is a feminist art installation "Not Her", expressing the idea that "she is no longer just that". The designs take inspiration from Parisian punk-rock style, retaining Dior classics like the Bar jacket and New Look skirts to highlight women's strength. Garments are mainly in neutral black, white and grey, complemented by pink and yellow striped runway backdrop. The opening dress has a strong see-through effect, while jackets cinch waists to accentuate the female silhouette. Asymmetric necklines aptly reveal the graceful neck and shoulders of the models. Black lace dresses paired with gladiator shoes, alongside models with black lipstick, exude Gothic allure. The entire show employs punk elements to convey the new power of confident women.
