Has Kai Havertz finally arrived?
Is his Arsenal career finally ready to take off?
He's finally scored.
Yes, it wasn't from open play.
It's from the penalty spot.
But nonetheless, the £65m German international
bagged against Bournemouth.
And it was a great day out, I guess, for Arsenal fans.
We got three points.
We kept a clean sheet.
I don't know what it is,
but we're a different animal away from home.
It was fantastic to see the scenes
with his teammates as well.
And as they let him take the penalty,
I think that shows how we really are a family.
And it was lovely to see the love he got
from Declan Rice, the captain of the guard,
and also Mikel Arteta.
As Arteta said here, if we had any question marks
about how we feel about him, how much we love him,
how much we appreciate him, that he does,
I think that's out.
As you know, he had a decent game against Bournemouth people.
He had a really decent game against Bournemouth.
His passing accuracy was there.
79% could be higher.
He obviously scored.
And the main thing is you hope that instils
some confidence into the lad.
Like Arteta said in his messages,
as you can see in front of me,
I think the most important thing is,
and thank you to our supporters
because the way they have supported our team
and Kai is going to mean the world to him.
And also the chance, man.
You know, many people have criticisms over Mikel Arteta's
signing of Havertz, you know, how Havertz is playing,
and that's all fine.
But some of it is scapegoatism.
End of the day, whether he's the guy or not for the club,
we can also have that.
But I think every player, even the players I don't rate,
even Cedric, they deserve our support
as long as they wear the Arsenal shirt.
You're only as strong as your weakest man in the team.
He's our 143rd player to bag in the Premier League roster.
I'm happy for the win,
but I'm even happier to be part of something
and to be part of a team that shows the human qualities
that they have shown today.
Without me telling them absolutely nothing
to show that leadership
and that empathy towards a player
that has some question marks to resolve externally,
they want me even more today.
And they've done it in a really natural way.
And I'm delighted that they have made that decision.
I'm so thankful as well to our supporters,
the way they have seen his name
and have made him feel in the way that he's felt today.
And if there is a person in the dressing room
that deserves that, it's Guy Havertz.
So, so happy for him.
As you would have seen there,
Havertz has got his first goal for Arsenal Football Club
in his seventh Premier League appearance, people.
So yeah, as I said, it was lovely stuff.
By now you would have seen what Mikel Arteta said
in his post-match conference.
You would have seen several things on social media
regarding Havertz and also the support he got from the fans.
Big up Benjamin White, people.
He loves scoring against Bournemouth.
He loves the seaside town fixture
and he's one of our most underappreciated players.
And he deserved his goal.
I think he had a good game and he worked his socks off.
There's talks around the new deal.
Ben White has actually scored
in his last two games against Bournemouth.
Obviously the dramatic game at the Emirates,
I was about to say Ivory there, and the one we just saw.
Our other fullback, Zinchenko,
really underrated performance once again.
The last two could be said on that.
Gabriel and also Saliba,
the same could be said about them, people.
And obviously you've got the little chilli, the star boy.
Never see him score with his head.
He finally showed.
He's adding that to his game really and truly
in his 76 minutes played.
Hopefully there's no injuries
because we know he hobbled off.
He now has as many Premier League goals
as Cesc Fabregas with 35.
What a player Bakayo Saka is becoming.
And he's either scored or assisted
in each of his last six games for the Emirates club, people.
I don't know why I said that, but Arsenal really.
Bournemouth Spurs, PSB, Everton, Man United and Fulham.
Firmly a dynamite of a player.
Firmly a match winner, people.
And this season he's also netted
against Forest as well, people, really.
So the man's lit.
He just keeps performing.
It was nice to see Odegaard turn up again.
He's only not turned up in one game and he got a goal.
And it was lovely to see, once again,
him and Saka give Kai Havertz the penalty.
Eddie and Keita might not have scored,
but he won a penalty and he had a lot of build up play
for the first goal.
So, yeah, people, when you look at the most passes
and progressive passes, Odegaard and Zinchenko,
they were ticking after seven games played.
It's crazy.
It's only been a month for football.
Arsenal and Spurs are the only unbeaten teams.
As you know, we deserve to win the game
against Bournemouth people.
We dominated possession.
We took our chances.
And again, the people who are known
for combination play stood up to be counted.
Next, we obviously have Lens in the champs on Tuesday.
Join me for a watch along
on Arsenal versus Manchester City at the weekend.
And it was lovely to see the fans dancing
and bar me and things like that, man.
So big up the Arsenal fans.
And again, once again,
it was lovely to see the post-game celebrations
and just general support for Kai Havertz
because whatever you say about the man, he deserves that.
