Hello everyone, today we are looking at a novelty from Rubik's, a cube dedicated to the centenary of the Disney company.
Last time we looked at the collaboration of Rubik's and Simpsons, which was more than 20 years old.
Today, on the contrary, we will look at the latest collaboration between Rubik's and Disney.
Let's move on to the cube review.
Many people do not like Rubik's cubes.
At one time, it was even popular to hate their cubes because they rotate slowly and well.
But Rubik's cubes are interesting to others.
They are very often unique.
Recently, we looked at the thermo-sensitive Rubik's cube, and before that we looked at Rubik's Impossible, which changes its color depending on the angle.
By the way, here, too, our cube shimmers.
There are a lot of different unique things that only Rubik's releases.
And they also release unique collaborations.
Recently, we looked at the Simpsons collaboration, which is already more than 20 years old.
And today we will look at, on the contrary, a new collaboration, Disney 100 years.
Within this collaboration, two cubes were released.
One is a purple cube with Mickey Mouse, Donald, Daisy, Minnie.
There is also an inscription Disney 100 years, but, unfortunately, this cube ended up in the official Disney store, and I did not have time to buy it.
Well, today we will look at the second cube from this collaboration.
There are already other characters, let's unpack it.
But Mickey Mouse is still there.
Here's what the image will look like.
Snow White, 100 years of Disney, Mickey Mouse, Woody, Simba and Elsa.
This is Elsa, if I'm not mistaken, from Frozen.
By the way, do we have a cube without a stand or what?
The purple version had a stand, judging by the picture.
Yes, a cube without a stand.
In my opinion, in the previous Rubik's cubes, there were no stands either.
In those that changed color, there were no stands.
Okay, okay, so without a stand.
Or use this as a stand, but it's not beautiful.
I actually thought there would be some kind of transparent stand hidden in this part of the box, but there is nothing.
The cube is just incredibly beautiful.
It overflows.
Snow White.
Woody, for some reason upside down.
Simba.
Mickey.
And Elsa.
And how do we hold it so that our images are not upside down?
That is, we only get Woody upside down.
Usually, when you hold a cube like this, you have 4 images that should be turned correctly.
And here we have a very strange solution.
That is, you probably need to hold it like this and rotate it.
That is, we hold it like this, rotate it.
And it turns out that the side images are turned in one direction, yes.
But usually it holds like this.
If Woody was upside down, everything would work out.
It is also interesting that the cube is also made of silver plastic and overflows.
We even have some guides.
Oh, these are not guides, this is just plastic.
Let's try to rotate it. I suspect that it will not rotate very well, but let's try.
Well, not good.
No, not good.
I wanted to say not good, but not so terrible, but no.
It rotates straight badly.
Here is such a beautiful Elsa.
It rotates straight badly, but okay, this is not the main thing.
The main thing is that it is very beautiful.
So, we turned Elsa back.
Let's take this cube apart, see how it is arranged.
I wonder if the top covers are removed here.
Ah, they are not removed here.
These are just classic Rubik's cubes on rivets.
I thought they didn't do that anymore.
Now no one makes cubes on rivets.
It can't be that there are rivets here.
Usually in cubes there is a top cover that you can remove and adjust the cube.
In this case, I have nuts from GAN, but there are also just screws.
Here I have a cube, and here is just a screw.
Here it is.
I expected that there would be a screw here too.
It turns out that Rubik still uses another system without rivet screws.
That is, these cubes are not disassembled.
But now we will check it with you.
I can still disassemble it.
We turn and remove the edge.
Now let's see how it is arranged.
And no, there are still embossed corners.
The cube is just incredibly dry, there is not a gram of grease here.
You see, nothing shines.
And you can't feel the grease with your fingers.
But by the way, I wanted to lubricate it now, but I remembered that I had already spoiled one cube with pictures.
Because there were pictures on a paper base.
And when the grease got under the paper, the paper absorbed the grease, and the cube became very ugly.
Perhaps that's why it is not lubricated here.
But although the pictures here do not look like they are on a paper base.
But most likely they are still on a paper base, so most likely it is not lubricated because of this.
As for the rivets, there is really a cube on the rivets.
You can't remove this part.
We don't have a cap here.
That is, this is a whole part.
And just when this cube is assembled, it is put on and clicked.
And accordingly, you cannot disassemble the cube.
Interesting. Very interesting.
I didn't think Rubik's still did that.
But why are they doing this?
Apparently, this is a patented technology that they don't want to change.
But ok.
And you can find completely different puzzles from the Rubik's company in the puzzle store cdcstore.ru

In the description, I will leave a link to the store cdcstore and their VK group,
where you can find out about new promotions and sales, as well as news from the world of speedcubing.
Now let's confuse this cube and try to assemble it.
It seems to me that the cube in this case, even in a confused version, looks very beautiful.
It shimmers.
Yes, of course, we have a disassembled image, but it looks beautiful.
Interestingly, it shimmers in one color.
That is, due to the fact that all the images we have are foiled, glossy,
they shimmer in the same way, even despite the fact that they are confused.
I suspect that it will not be particularly difficult to assemble it.
The only thing is that we may have difficulties with this white-blue color, gray-blue color.
Because this color and the color of Elsa are almost the same.
But I don't think it will complicate the cube much.
The only thing that can complicate this cube is the rotation of the central elements.
Usually, the central elements of the cube have no orientation, even those with a symbol.
It doesn't matter where the symbol will be directed, the cube will still be assembled.
But at the same time, they rotate during assembly, and you don't even notice it.
That is, if we perform Tperm, Tperm,
our central element will turn around.
We perform it twice, and our central element turns around.
That is, we held it like this, it was turned to us, now it is turned from us.
We would turn it 180 degrees.
We can also turn the central element 90 degrees.
But at the same time, in addition to one element, we will also turn the one on the right.
To do this, we simply change these three elements three times.
Changed.
The second time and the third time.
This formula is called Uperm.
Our central element turned 90 degrees, and this element also turned around.
Let's try to assemble it in such a way that all the central elements, except the last one, were correctly turned.
The only thing is that if we perform Uperm at the end, our side element will turn around in any case.
But I hope we don't have to do it.
Let's try to assemble it.
So, I won't waste time, because I'm not a speedcuber, I just know how to assemble a Rubik's cube.
We will start with the green side, and at the end we will have Elsa.
On the green side we have Mickey Mouse, I can already see that one element is standing correctly,
and at the same time Mickey Mouse is correctly turned.
This, by the way, is lucky.
We adjust it to Woody, this is the yellow side.
And here, by the way, the head is also correctly turned.
So, we are looking for the next green element.
The next green element is orange.
We adjust it here, turn it.
Yes, we immediately correctly orient the central element.
Next, we have two green elements left.
Where is the green edge?
Here it is, here it is.
Here it is not green, here it is not green.
In fact, it is very difficult to look for elements,
because the cube overflows,
and everything overflows with all the colors of the rainbow.
Here I see the green ones here,
at the snow-white, I turn it
and immediately correctly orient it.
It seems that I confused the cube normally,
but at the same time now we have a lot of elements that stand correctly.
And the last element,
it will need to be turned,
before putting it.
We turned the center so that it was correctly turned.
Done. We have a cross.
One corner is in its place.
It's just lucky now while we were spinning.
And we place more corners.
Next we have a red-yellow corner.
We put it in its place.
Next we have what?
Where is the green one?
Orange-yellow.
And there is one corner left.
Here it is.
We check. We put Mickey Mouse together.
The center is correctly turned.
Here the center is also correctly turned.
It seems to be right here.
And here the center is wrongly turned, by the way.
Yes, it's wrong here.
It seemed to me that the eye was correctly turned, but it turned out not.
Here Woody is right, Snow White is right.
So here we turn it around.
In principle, you can turn it all around at the end.
And in general, when we twist it first, hold it like this,
but you can fix it now.
Let's hide it and turn it around.
So, how should it be turned?
Like this, in my opinion.
Now it seems to be right.
I decided to look at the picture on the instructions.
Yes, these points should be at the top.
We collect further.
We place the edges.
In this case, it is almost impossible to collect two elements at once,
because you need to look for each element separately.
So, this is, in my opinion, an element from Elsa.
Therefore, we skip it.
Here I see yellow-red.
We put it.
Here I see red-white.
And now we have another element,
which we immediately put in place.
And that's it.
We have collected two layers.
We check.
In principle, when performing these formulas,
nothing could turn around.
And here everything is correct.
Now it remains to collect Elsa.
These are the elements from Elsa.
This is not.
Done.
We have collected the cross.
Here is the side of Elsa and here is the side of Elsa.
Okay, I won't complicate anything.
Let's just do it this way
and see what we got.
So, here we have
this is from Elsa.
Or not from Elsa.
They are very similar.
This is from Elsa.
These two are not.
Now we have all the elements from Elsa on this side.
Now we need to put them correctly.
These two are from Snow White.
These two are wrong.
Done.
Now we need to change the centers.
That is, the ribs.
And we have everything collected.
The only thing is that Elsa's head is sideways.
In theory, it was sorted out here.
In order to fix this situation,
we will perform U-perm three times.
Then Woody will turn 90 degrees
and Elsa will turn 90 degrees.
I just don't remember which way.
In any case, we will perform T-perm
and turn 180 degrees.
And Woody and Elsa, if necessary.
Let's see what we got.
Elsa turned the wrong way, but it doesn't matter.
And Woody turned right.
Therefore, we perform T-perm two times.
Surely there are some other formulas for turns,
but I know that they turn,
so I use them.
Let's see.
Here it is correct.
And Elsa is correct.
The cube is collected.
That is, it is collected as an ordinary cube,
but these elements we did not have to turn,
because we rotated U-perm using only this side.
Accordingly, Woody turned at the end.
In theory, it was possible to avoid turning Woody,
just do not use U-perm,
use some other formula to move the edges in the last layer.
Then Woody would not turn.
But it is easy to fix,
use U-perm three times,
and then, if necessary, T-perm.
The cube is incredibly beautiful, dry,
lubricate it with a lube so as not to spoil the picture.
But in general, this is not an option for assembly,
this is an option for collection.
This is how it was originally.
I will put it this way,
because it seems to me that this way it will collect less dust.
And in general, this packaging is quite beautiful.
Yes, it seems to me that this option is even better.
To sum up, I can say
that I definitely liked the cube.
Yes, it rotates not very well.
Perhaps it is worth lubricating it a little,
but I am afraid to spoil it,
because I already had experience with a cube that I spoiled.
This was one of my first cubes.
More precisely, my first cubes were Rubik's.
Rubik's was my first cube.
I bought it in Sweden.
I went to a toy store in the hope of buying a Rubik's cube.
I was told that such a thing is not sold in toy stores.
And they sent the store all for geeks.
There were video games,
various figurines for video games,
for comics.
Including comics were sold.
And there was also a Rubik's cube sold there.
It was more than 10 years ago.
I decided that Rubik's was probably the best cubes.
I started to rotate it,
and it rotated just fine.
I thought it was just the best Rubik's cube.
The company, which is named in honor of the creator of the cube,
probably produces the best Rubik's cubes.
But then it turned out
that they are far from the best.
At that time, there was already Dayan-5, Dayan-6.
But Dayan-5 was considered the best,
so I bought it.
And gradually I began to get involved with this topic.
This is my cube with pictures.
It did not rotate very well.
I lubricated it with Rubik's lubricant.
It began to rotate better,
but the lubricant fell on the surface of the cube.
Even a little lubrication is enough
The stickers were made of paper.
Therefore, the cube began to look very bad.
I still have it in my collection,
but it looks very bad.
Therefore, I do not want to spoil such an exclusive cube.
Yes, at the moment it is not exclusive.
It is not difficult to buy.
But I understand that in a year,
two, five years,
it will already be an exclusive collaboration,
like the Rubik's and Simpsons collaboration,
which was very difficult to find.
If you try to find a Rubik's and Simpsons collaboration now,
it's a big problem.
Although, by the way,
there was also a Rubik's face cube
in the framework of this collaboration.
I have not found it on sale yet.
But Rubik's Magic is also difficult to find.
This will be exactly the same.
As I said, two cubes were released,
and so far I have only been able to find one.
Although it is sold right now,
but I have not bought the second cube yet.
I will probably be able to find it,
but it will take time.
Therefore, I do not want to spoil this cube at all.
I hope now you understand why I like Rubik's.
They make fast, high-speed cubes.
They make unique cubes.
They have unique collaborations.
They have surprisingly interesting cubes.
Those that change the color depending on the temperature.
Those that change the color depending on the angle
under which you look.
There is also a novelty,
which is a black cube with stickers
that you have to peel off
when you show colors.
I don't really know what changes there yet,
but I want to buy this cube and show it on the channel.
Therefore, Rubik's really has unique products.
Rubik's cube, Rubik's cage.
I have already bought two tabletop games from Rubik's,
but I haven't taken them off yet.
I bought one more than half a year ago,
but I still have it.
And the second one I bought a couple of weeks ago
when I went to Dresden
in the official Ravinsburger store.
There were Rubik's puzzles sold there.
And there, by the way, I bought this game,
which is also not very common,
but nevertheless it exists.
So all this will be on the channel.
I hope you enjoyed today's video.
And that's all, thanks for watching.
Bye everyone!
