You know, whenever George calls, when he sends out an invite, why is it a yes?
Oh, I didn't even know George was going to be here.
Oh, it's all about them all, isn't it?
No, actually, I'm just here to, I had to go to the library. I have a project due.
So I have a card.
Is your book late? Or no, the project.
That's right, I have a project.
Okay, project, project.
Oh, so I go there.
Your project, well, crashing another gig coming up here,
because you just crashed a really big podcast.
Oh, the Strikeforce.
The Strikeforce 5!
Yeah, that's done now.
I know, but did you have fun crashing the podcast with the guys?
No, not particularly.
They're just very unpleasant people in general.
Yeah, they put on a veneer for show business, but underneath it all, just terribly sad.
Are you so happy you don't have to put on that veneer anymore?
I really am.
Whatever!
No, do you really? Do you miss late nights?
No, no, no.
Look at how beautiful life that exists outside of it.
So I did my time.
I give those guys all credit for doing it, but I'm very happy to have stepped aside.
Yeah, and how relieved are you to hear that the WGA and the studios have come to an agreement?
It's unbelievable.
You can't help but think that basically the agreement is what they were asking for,
and if the AMPTP had just been a little bit more focused and serious up top,
we could have saved the town an awful lot of trouble.
Hopefully they'll take that attitude into the SAG negotiations,
and it'll be done in the amount of time it should be done in, which is apparently five days.
Five days of hard negotiations, and it's over.
Right.
There are a lot of people that need to get back to work.
Hell yeah.
Right?
Tonight is a great celebration for the unsung heroes that are out there,
so why is it that you wanted to lend your celebrity to be a participant?
To sing them.
When you're unsung, you need to be sung, so I'll be doing that.
