Olavinlinna - Medieval Castle in Savonlinna (Finland) 🏰 Cinematic Drone of a Middle Ages Castle

The medieval castles of old are now sacred buildings that give us a glimpse of the past. Olavinlinna in Savonlinna Finland is one of those castles, and recently we recorded a tour of this castle.
➡️ Each area of the castle tells a story and lets you imagine how it was used in years past. You actually feel like you are viewing the world through the eyes of someone who walked through this castle hundreds of years ago.

Viewing the castle from afar is also an interesting experience. This castle was built on a very small island, and from our drone shots… you can see how the walls were designed to protect the castle.
➡️ The more than 600 years old castle stands on an island with a powerful current, built there so that the water does not freeze during winter and increases defense capabilities!
