That's what you get for going on podcasts and running your mouth.
How's everybody doing?
My name is Anthony Brian Logan.
And today we got to talk about an arrest made in the death of Tupac
27 years later.
Now, before I get into it, somebody, please, please, please check on Jada
Pinkett Smith, because this news is going to be devastating.
I know the Smith household is going to be turned upside down on today.
But in all seriousness, let's get to the story.
Mean dollar question.
Hey, ABL, why did it take this long to find someone
that was involved with Tupac's death?
Well, they have been known for a long time what the story is.
And I'm going to get to that in a minute.
But there's been a certain someone going on podcast for the past few years
talking about his involvement with Tupac's death.
Like there wasn't going to be any kind of penalty.
Okay, it's like my man.
If you're going on Vlad TV and other podcasts, just talking, talking,
talking at a certain point, you got to understand that the police watch
Vlad TV.
The police have cell phones.
They watch YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.
They watch all this stuff.
So if you're on there just talking freely, no lawyer or nothing present
talking about specific details, naming names and locations.
They might come after you and that is what happened.
Now, before I get into who I'm talking about in the whole story,
which I do know, let's get into a quick article here.
This is Associated Press AP man tied to suspected shooter in Tupac's
1996 killing arrested in Las Vegas.
AP sources say.
All right, so that's pot right there.
All right, 1996.
I remember this very well.
Actually, I was about 12 years old 1996.
I remember him getting shot and then the next year beat got shot and I
think big guy shot in California.
A lot of left coast stuff.
We'll get into all the left coast game beef all that in just one moment.
Let's get into a little bit of this to me going to get into some more
details.
So Las Vegas police have arrested a man in a deadly 1996 drive-by
shooting of Tupac Shakur along the way to break in a case that is
frustrated investigators and fascinated the public ever since the hip-hop
icon was gunned down on a Las Vegas trip 27 years ago.
I don't know why they say that it's frustrated investigators.
The story is pretty obvious and simple and there's evidence.
It's not difficult to understand what happened and I'm gonna get to
that in a minute.
So Dwayne Keefe D Davis was arrested early Friday morning.
Although the exact charge or charges were not immediately clear
according to two officials with firsthand knowledge of the arrest.
They were not authorized to speak publicly ahead of an expected
indictment later on Friday.
Now Davis has long been known to investigators and has himself
admitted in interviews and in a 2019 tell-all memoir Compton Street
legend that he was in the Cadillac where the gunfire erupted during
the September 1996 drive-by shooting Shakur with 25 when he was gunned
down.
The arrest comes more than two months after Las Vegas police raided
his wife's home on July 17th and neighboring Henderson, Nevada
document said police were looking for items concerning the murder
of Tupac Shakur.
Now what they were trying to find in that was some bullets like
they found some bullets with the bullets were not a match what
they were trying to find.
Maybe they were trying to search ballistics.
I'm not really sure but they did that back in July.
Now Keefe D.
This is Keefe D right here.
If you watch Vlad TV, you recognize him very well, you know, his
little catchphrases like damn, you know who this guy is.
He's been going on Vlad for years and other podcasts.
I don't want to just put it on Vlad's shoulders and it's not really
Vlad's fault.
Vlad is the kind of guy that will allow you to say whatever you
want to say.
So if you want to go on Vlad TV and confess to double homicide in
1995 or whatever you can do that and that's pretty much what Keefe
D did right here.
Now, let me get to the actual story of what happened back in 1996.
This is why I say when they put in the AP article this case as
frustrated investigators.
I'm like how you know the story.
I know the story.
Everybody knows the story.
Let's get to it.
Now back in July 1996 a member of death row records, which is where
Tupac at the time was signed to along with Snoop Dogg.
Dr.
Dre and everybody else a lesser known member not a famous person
got his chain snatched by Orlando Baby Lane Anderson and his
associates his fellow gang members understand what's going on in
LA, California at this time is gang beef death row were affiliated
with my Peru Baby Lane was from Southside Crib.
So now we got a gang beef and allegedly there was a bounty on
death row pendants and chains back then.
So as I said, Baby Lane and his people saw the one guy by himself.
They jumped him stole his chain fast forward to 1996 September
Tupac and his people there in Vegas for a Tyson fight.
Baby Lane is also there with his people for the same fight.
Of course Vegas not too far from California.
It'd be a lot of California LA guys in Vegas for events like this.
So they cross paths the guy who got his chain snatched in July sees
Baby Lane by himself.
So the guy calls Tupac and some other guys over to Baby Lane and
they beat him down their surveillance footage of this and I
probably will link to that in the description now three hours later
Tupac get shot and killed right there in Vegas in a drive-by
shooting.
The story is that Kifi D who is Baby Lane's uncle was in the
Cadillac with possibly other guys and they do a drive-by and
Baby Lane is the shooter.
He kills Tupac.
This was LA gang beef.
That's all that it was no big grand conspiracy.
Nothing that's that difficult to understand.
The question is why hasn't Baby Lane been arrested?
Well, Baby Lane been dead 25 years.
You see because again Baby Lane Southside Crip.
He was in that life.
He was active.
He got killed back then on some gang stuff.
Now, it could have been a retaliation for Tupac.
I don't really know but he's been dead for 25 years.
Now Kifi D is getting arrested now because he's been going on
podcast talking about it.
They've not been able to find other people associated with
what happened that are willing to come out and say, yeah, I
did it because now you got to be able to find evidence to
corroborate, you know, Kifi D is giving them evidence.
Maybe when they went into his house or his wife's house, they
found something that connected him to it.
And then on top of that, you got his book that he wrote talking
about it.
You got the podcast appearances.
So now you have an arrest Kifi D who has kids and grandkids
is now locked up for a Tupac's murder.
Now, some are going to say that Tupac still living.
He's living in Cuba.
I mean cut the nonsense pot has been dead 27 years.
And the reason why he got killed is because of some LA gang
beef.
That is it.
And that is all and the only reason why there's an arrest
right now is because one guy cannot stop going on podcast
confessing to his involvement with the situation.
And I think I'll leave that right there for now.
And what say you do you think Kifi D is going to be found
guilty in a situation?
I mean, like I said, he's been going on podcast talking like
my thing is if there's still an open case and it's not been
solved and you you didn't go to jail for it at all.
You think you won't go to jail.
It doesn't really matter how long ago it was you got people
getting arrested or charged or being brought to court for
allegations from the 70s pill Cosby that they have not confessed
to Kifi D you're going on Vlad TV talking about what's going
on my man.
You thought you wouldn't get jammed up.
You thought you wouldn't get pinched.
Well, here you have it.
But whatever your thoughts on any of this are let me know
in the comments below and that's all I got to say for this
video. If you like what you heard, please comment rate share
and subscribe.
Peace.
