Today we visit SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS -- A small city with a long and famous (or infamous) history. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the city of Salem are the Witch Trials that took place in 1962. The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft. The accused were held in a dungeon like prison, sentenced to death and executed. 19 of those accused were executed by hanging. Today, we visit 5 different locations around the city of Salem related to the Salem witch trials, including the exact place where the victims were hanged. The goal is to tell you more about these interesting locations and show you what you can see and do if you decide to check it out.
