(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights Empoli - Inter Milan
Di Marco, Mkhitaryan, Bastoni can tease it in,
the goalkeeper wasn't short, Darmian's header back across.
That is fabulous defending there.
Ismaili getting back on the line to head it clear.
Di Marco, he fancies it, pushed away by Perisic.
Darmian back in, Di Marco is waiting.
Turam didn't get the shout from his colleague.
Calhanoglu takes it short to Di Marco.
It's back in by Calhanoglu and there's Marcus Turam.
But the flag goes up.
Turam was beyond the line of the last defender.
Calhanoglu feeding it through, Fratezi is there.
Well played Perisic, not once but twice.
The way he covered the ground to get ahead of Valtaro Martinez
for the possible rebound was very impressive indeed
from the Albanian.
Mkhitaryan, and still Mkhitaryan breaks the way of Di Marco.
It's a good save.
Cleared only as far as Di Marco.
He's done it again at the Castellani.
Inter struggled in the first half but it's one of their own
who has picked out the top corner.
Empoli did not clear the corner properly
and this man boasts an absolute wand of a left foot.
Valtaro Martinez, and still Valtaro Martinez.
This is Marcus Turam.
Couldn't hit the target.
Ranocchia with the free kick, Sommer did well.
Finally, Empoli weren't the goalkeeper.
Now Nautovic, Marcus Turam.
We've seen this before.
It was almost a repeat of his derby goal.
Empoli should have been warned about this ability to shift the ball
and drive it towards the far top corner.
Petzella with the ball in.
This is Ebuehi.
Ebuehi's cut back.
Cancellieri!
And it's deflected wide for a corner.
It's victory for Inter.
Full-time score at the Castellani.
Empoli nil, Inter won.
