Always a tremendous atmosphere here.
David Moyes has never won in 19 visits to Anfield.
Darwin Nunez got back on defensive watch there, though.
Peketar in, and Sochek almost putting West Ham in front.
What a save from Alassane.
How is that save?
But West Ham again fashion something ever so well.
Starts from J. Ward-Prowse in the middle, but there...
I think Sochek, there's nothing more he can do,
he heads it down, he heads it into the corner.
But Alassane coming up with the goods yet again for Liverpool.
Alassane at his very best.
But such a pivotal player for West Ham.
Sochek.
What a delicious cross that is!
And Mikhail Antonio with another huge chance to put West Ham in front.
You know, it's a bit blowy up here in the gantry,
I don't know whether we can use that excuse down at pitch side,
but you see the ball in by Sochek, I think it is.
It's wonderful, he's got all the time in the world.
I don't know whether he shuts his eyes, I don't know what it is with Antonio,
but you've got to at least be hitting the target.
Now, will Liverpool be on their way here with Luis Diaz?
Munoz pointing to where he wants it back,
having given the ball in the first place, it's come to Mo Salah!
Liverpool!
In contact, yeah, it's Stonewall, and it's unfortunate for West Ham,
because I think they've had such a good start to this game,
but we see them on the counter-attack.
Diaz and Nunez, isn't he, he's pointing, he wants it there,
and as I say, more by luck than judgement that it comes to Salah here,
but the contact is obvious.
And it is Mo Salah who will take it.
Mo Salah steps forward!
Liverpool have survived two early scares here,
and then they've gone and taken the lead.
It can happen like that at Anfield.
Wow, what a strike, he nearly ripped the net off with that.
There was no place for just trying to slot that in the net,
it's power, it's huge, and you've got to be so confident to do that,
by the way, from the penalty spot.
It's a wonderful strike, and as you say, Crocs, for West Ham,
they'll be so disappointed, they had the two best chances of this game so far,
didn't convert, and now they find themselves 1-0 down at Anfield,
and it's a long, long way back.
It's Robertson to float it in, right into the danger zone.
And it was met by Van Dijk.
They'd like another special moment in terms of a second goal now, though.
And Luis Diaz has been blocked off by Alvarez,
and that's a free kick in terrific territory, and a yellow card for Alvarez.
Hoisted high by Robertson towards Salah.
Emerson keeping check.
Emerson does well there not to commit a foul,
just uses a bit of strength, uses his body to shield the ball from Mo Salah
and win the ball back.
Alvarez up to Bowen, Antonio now for Sophal.
Sophal's cross!
And it is the equaliser for Jarrod Bowen!
Two early chances missed by West Ham,
one taken as the first half draws to a close.
It's 1-1 at Anfield.
I initially thought, can this ball go in earlier?
It does so well initially, by the way, to head that back to Antonio.
I'm thinking, can that ball go in there?
It doesn't.
But then, diving at Virgil van Dijk's feet,
he's brave, he's tenacious.
And then to have the ability to get the header in the bottom left-hand corner.
What a diving header that is.
It's a wonderful header from Jarrod Bowen,
who has scored in all four away games.
In the Premier League, four in a row.
Sobozlaj.
It's digged in brilliantly, despite a pleasurable build-up.
Let's see here, as you say, being patient, nice build-up.
The ball in from Sobozlaj is perfectly weighted,
but Jones, does he make that run a little bit too early?
I'm sure it'll be checked.
Antonio.
Paquita, Curtis Jones showing his strength.
And Liverpool could swarm forward again.
Four minutes of stoppage time at the end of the half.
Salah for Nunez!
And that's a big stop, a big save from Alphonse Arreola.
He does well with the contact, but look at this,
it's like the Red Arrows swarming forward when Liverpool attack,
and Arreola, who had to be in the right place at the right time.
I think West Ham fans and Arreola alike would have been disappointed
if he doesn't save that.
They're just waiting for that moment, aren't they,
for a West Ham player to break shape and find the little gap.
Sobozlaj for Mo Salah!
And Darwin Nunez blazes it wide.
That is a major miss.
It's James Ward-Prouse time then,
and Bowen got to it once more,
but this time it's saved by Alisson.
Salah.
It's a worry when he suddenly appears there,
but once again West Ham contend with it.
McAllister.
Lifted over the top.
Nunez!
You just see it in here,
it's a wonderful little chip by McAllister,
and then Nunez does so, so well.
This will be a fantastic angle to see it from behind.
Knows exactly what he's doing,
goes across the goalkeeper as you're taught to do,
as a striker,
and it's a big, big goal for Liverpool.
Come off the hour, come off the man,
Darwin Nunez with a fantastic finish,
but the pass from McAllister was asking for that to be done.
Jones might have a go himself,
it's taken a really awkward deflection,
and Arreola did well to prevent another goal.
Might take it over, but I think that could have dropped him
if he didn't get this touch here.
Does really well, the West Ham keeper.
Diaz, Salah, Mo Salah,
straight at Arreola,
and he's put the work in,
and he's waiting on this left side for Emerson,
although he's gone first to Fornals.
And this has broken kindly to Pablo Fornals.
It's a really weak effort though.
It's a foul by Zouma,
and the yellow card is coming out.
Robertson sends it a swirling corner,
Van Dijk down!
Xhota!
Last season, it's win-win-win at the start of this season for Jurgen Klopp.
It's a good delivery in, Virgil van Dijk gets the initial touch,
gets up really well,
then Xhota in the right place at the right time.
I don't believe that West Ham have actually conceded
from a set-piece this season.
The way the stats are, I don't know if that counts as it's second phase,
but nonetheless, you'd imagine that that's
the three points in the bag for Liverpool.
Surely no way back now for West Ham.
It is left for Andy Robertson,
helped on by Van Dijk,
and Cody Gakpo threatening,
but stopped by Arreola.
Played something more we'd maybe expect from West Ham,
route one, but it's a wonderful pass out from Alisson.
Shaboz Lai, Gakpo's flick.
Liverpool's start of the season is becoming a bit more than highly promising.
It's another win for Jurgen Klopp.
Not without its issues today, but they had the answers.
Mo Salah gave them an early lead from the penalty spot.
West Ham started the game well with a couple of chances,
did equalise with a brilliant chair of Bowenheader.
He had another chance as well, but Nunez and Xhota
made sure of another victory for Liverpool,
and it ends at Anfield.
Liverpool 3-1 West Ham.
