Nectarine Tart

❂ Ingredients:

6 Nectarines (hard)
Maple syrup
1 Tbsp Butter
For Tart (2 crust):
2.5 Cup flour
Pinch of salt
4 Tbsp sugar
Butter (0.5 Ib. / 225 gr.)
1 Tbsp vinegar
4 Tbsp water

❂ Cooking process:

⁃ Place flour, a pinch of salt and sugar into a bowl of food processor, mix, then add cold butter and beat until coarse crumbs form. Then add water and vinegar and mix everything until smooth. Roll the dough into a thick sheet, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
⁃ After 40 minutes, remove the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 5 minutes.
⁃ Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a circle. With a knife, cut out the dough edge of your tart pan (9,5 inch).
⁃ Pierce all the dough with a fork.
⁃ Slice the nectarines on a 2-2.5mm thick mandolin and cut in half.
⁃ Pre-heat your oven to 400°F (200°C) with a rack in the middle.
⁃ Arrange the nectarines in a circle. Melt the 1 Tbsp of butter and brush it onto the nectarines.
⁃ Bake the tart for 30 minutes or until the crust edges are dark brown and the nectarines look slightly caramelized. Let cool 2-3 minutes and transfer onto a cooling rack. 
⁃ Top with maple syrup and enjoy!❤️
