DJ Gig Log - Latin / American Wedding (360 Tubes + Maui 44 G2s + Winmock)

What's up guys, it's DJ Rick Webb. Welcome back to the channel. Today, we're at Winmauk for another wedding epic setup behind us We got the tubes. We got the Maui 44 G2s custom turntable booth all that. Let's get into it It's gonna be a crazy wedding. Let's have some fun What is up, everyone? We're here at Winmauk We're in the rear and we're gonna go figure out how I get in here because I've never been here all my other DJs literally end up going to the venues before I do it's weird I get stuck but eventually I make my way back out to all the venues we got around here But Winmauk is one of the top venues in our area I've never personally been here to the DJ, but I know that all the other guys are here We're gonna go figure out how we get in here. Supposedly there's an elevator and supposedly Bertha will fit in it. Stay tuned This is the first floor. It's cool. All right, we found the cocktail room I believe if we go up the stairs, we'll find the second room. We already saw the elevator to check it out. Check it out Epic epic. So yeah, this is Winmauk and you gotta love it right here on the dance floor Well, I love to see pretty long room But overall, I like it. We're gonna go loading. Hopefully elevator is big enough for Bertha Otherwise, we're gonna have some problems, but my boys show out and for me that we should be fine. This is a plug We're behind the scenes. We're forgot to tell you guys it is currently like is it even two o'clock yet? Two o'clock. It's 149. We don't have to start prelude. Well, we don't even have to do prelude preludes gonna be done by pianos today That starts at 4 o'clock. It's gonna be an extended prelude from 4 to 5 We're doing just the mics the ceremony 5 but always show up 2 to 3 hours before your event people Always show up early. You have to show up early So that way you get yourself set up you can film content like this and get yourself ready to go Oh nice and big elevator. I like to see it. I like to see it. I don't understand why there's sound dampening on the walls That's interesting All Right 236 section setup is completely done and Gabe's going around making sure all the DMX channels are correct on all the up lights I'm gonna get my laptop hooked up make sure all the DMX is good to go But we're able to utilize this basically nice ledge here get the tubes up high without having to extend the stands It's gonna make a really cool look tonight Anyway, I'm just gonna get the laptop hooked up do a quick little sound check and then we got to go set up the cocktail speaker and get the ceremony running and Here's the ceremony spot tucked away in the back pro tip if you guys didn't know I've expressed this many times But you need to have good quality microphones that you can do scanning with now We use the audio technical three vowels and four tens I've heard good things about the new Phoenix Pro stuff that actually can scan But if you didn't know here in America, you need to be operating in the four. It's like 450 to 520 or 530 megahertz That's the range that is open if you have the older mics to operate in the 600 plus range Those mics don't work anymore T-Mobile bought that and you're gonna have hella dropout at your events So make sure you get some good quality microphones go through scan for available frequencies. That's literally what I'm doing in the menu system Right now I'm scanning for all available frequencies and then I'm selecting frequencies that are available to use So that way we're not gonna have dropouts today, but um to the bells we're getting set up the piano guys coming He's gonna be playing the music today. So we're just on microphone stuff. We've got the simple ceremony rack I have a whole video on this LD Maui 5 go for audio So we're fully set up out at the ceremony. Just got the piano guy hooked up We'll show more about that later. Want to show you guys check it out. Check it out. Don't go Don't go break over Why the show you guys what I'm using for cocktail nowadays because I stopped Moving my Maui 5 go just because it was becoming a little bit of pain I mean it is very easy to move it and it sounds great, but I just go to the Mackie from go now So this is the cocktail room. It is gonna be indoor and outdoor, but I figure it's 96 degrees outside So everyone's gonna be inside for the most part So I just got the Mackie from go right up here on top of a speaker stand I have my laptop down there. That's gonna Bluetooth up to it and just press play and go This is just a very simple cocktail setup to play cocktail music wherever you need to go And if you guys saw my review on the Mackie from go That's why I recommend this speaker because you can buy two of those for the price of that Maui 5 go you could use two Of those you can use one there. He's wanted the ceremony be good to go or this thing right here I mean, it's cheap so you can just buy it and that way you don't have to move any speakers To go to the cocktail space or it's just a good backup speaker a monitor.
