An interview with Port Arthur actor Justin Slaughter

All right, thanks so much, Carrie. Today we're actually joined by Justin P Slaughter. He's actually a big actor from Port Arthur, so one of our very own. He's humble. He's over here making faces. Justin, you have a big project that's been in the works for a very long time. You were out filming. You were not in Southeast TX, but now you're sort of ready to release it to the public. Tell us a little bit about this project. So egress. Sci-fi action adventure project. Actually, most people have seen it already. Partial of like the short film is on Amazon Prime, so if anybody have not yet seen that portion, they can watch it on Amazon Prime. But what we're going to be showing November 18th are the episodes. Three of the episodes that we shot. The first episode is called the Rattlesnake. A young Sicario responsible for missing towns folks winds up becoming the next bounty target for Adam Huxley in this all new episode. So we have this event at the Jefferson Theater November 18th and we're going to be doing a showing of three episodes. The Rattlesnake dead in the water and redemption about how long are each of these episodes. Each of these episodes are about 45 or 45 minutes, so it's a. Make sure you. Get enough rest before you come. I mean, honestly, people at home. They probably sit in front of HBO or Netflix for longer than 45 minutes, so it's a normal amount of time for an episode these days, right? And so the big premiere is happening at the Jefferson Theater. You said in November, November 18th, and I know you want to do your big reveal, but there's going to be a lot of information for folks who make it out to the premiere. So if you come to the premiere. If you come to the premiere. For those who always wanted to get into film, rather, if you're aspiring actor actress, you want to be a director. You want to be a writer. This is your chance to come to this event and we can show you how you can get involved because we are bringing filming to Southeast Texas and I repeat we are bringing filming to Southeast Texas, preferably Beaumont. So we've been having a lot of meetings with the city of Beaumont and we are bringing filming to Beaumont. So we are going to be casting for some supporting roles extras. This is something for the youth. This is something for the adults. This is something for everybody. That's that's pretty amazing. Now our producer, I think, has the teaser video. It's not the trailer, but it's the teaser video, right? Let's see if we can roll the tape on that. Nice pistol you got here. He's the issue. Would you kill for it? Oh, talk about suspense hole. Is that you in prison there? That is somebody else. That's Adam Huxley. I'm Justin. That's Adam Huxley. I don't know what he did, but yeah, but he's in there. OK, he's in there. Y'all gotta come to the Jefferson Theater November 18th and figure out why he's in there. I think he's innocent. How can people buy tickets so tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com. If you follow the official egress page on Facebook or Instagram, you stay in the loop with us. We'll let you know when the tickets are on sale. So that was a teaser. The official trailer drops this Friday, but again, if you follow the Facebook page, the official egress or Instagram or IJ media, you can stay in the loop when tickets go on sale for Ticketmaster. OK, perfect. So make sure you stay on top of that. It'll be a wonderful premiere. We're wishing you the best.
