State Park Hopping | Purtis Creek And Village Creek State Parks

In this episode of the Dude RV traveling road show we make a trip down to Beaumont Texas so Yappy could attend a business meeting. Rather than sleep in parking lots on our trip I opted to revisit two great Texas State Parks, Purtis Creek State Park and Village Creel State Park.
I really enjoy visiting Purtis Creek State Parks for many reasons. The fishing is almost always great, the campsites are shaded and for the most part private. There are many great hiking and biking trails to explore.
Village creek State Park is a great little Texas State Park down in the Big Thicket National Preserve. This is such an interesting area of Texas! The name Big Thicket is a very accurate description of the fauna the is found in this temporal rain forest.
