Now, the Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp says he is still enjoying life at Anfield,
eight years on from joining the club.
A Liverpool unbeaten so far this season, ahead of their match against West Ham on Sunday,
as they look to continue to improve on a disappointing campaign last season,
which saw them finish fifth.
I enjoyed the moment, I enjoyed it from the first day since we were back.
I enjoyed it a lot, I was really excited about the rebuild,
I was really excited about the boys, the new way, the new energy.
We decided last year already that we have to change a lot,
but that we want to change it for good and not because we have to.
I'm really excited about it and still am, so that's it.
We are far away from being perfect, we are really not there,
we are not stable yet, so many things not, but we are a lot of things already,
a lot of exciting moments in the games, and I think that's a good start, not more.
But as it started, it's absolutely OK.
So, Liverpool take on West Ham's side with just one defeat so far this season,
that was 3-1 against Manchester City last weekend.
Klopp says he's got a lot of respect for David Moyes,
Liverpool will be looking to beat them for the fourth time in a row.
I think David, with his history in the Premier League and his history at West Ham,
if anybody deserved to get through this lesser good period, it's definitely him.
I think he's an exceptional manager, he's a really good guy,
we don't know each other extremely well, but we respect each other a lot.
I feel that when we speak to each other.
It's really nice to watch how they came through it,
and won the European trophy, which is absolutely outstanding,
and what it makes to the club.
It's a really cool project, I cannot say differently.
But we play them, and that means we want to beat them.
