So let's stop talking
and start the recipe
So to make Mango Rava Cake
our first ingredient is Yogurt
I'm adding 1 cup Yogurt
I have used homemade Yogurt
It is not very sour
I will also add
1 3rd cup Milk
This is boiled and chilled milk
Milk is used to balance the consistency of Yogurt
I'm adding 1 4th cup Vegetable Oil
You can use any cooking oil
Just don't use mustard oil
which is very strong
Mix all the ingredients very well
Milk, Yogurt and Oil are mixed very well
I'm adding next ingredient
I'm adding 1 5th cup Mango Puree
Mango is very sweet
so we don't need to add much sugar
I'm adding only 1 3rd cup Sugar
Because I don't eat sweet
so I have added only 1 3rd cup
You can add up to 1 5th cup Sugar
Mix all the ingredients very well
All the liquid ingredients
are mixed very well
Now let's add dry ingredients
I'm adding 1 cup Semolina
I'm adding 1 4th tsp Baking Soda
I'm adding 1 5th tsp Baking Powder
Mix all the ingredients very well
All the ingredients are mixed very well
As you can see the colour of the mixture
is not very yellow
I'm adding a little bit of yellow food colour
It is optional
Yellow food colour will make
the cake colour very beautiful
If you don't like yellow food colour
then don't add yellow food colour
Mix all the ingredients very well
The batter is ready
I'm shifting it to a mould
I have taken a baking tray
in which I have placed a baking paper
and oil
Now I'm adding the batter
We don't have to fill it completely
We will fill it up to 3rd or 4th level
I'm shifting the remaining batter
to another mould
I'm smoothing it
The reason for filling it up to 3rd or 4th
is that the cake will puff up
That's why I haven't filled it completely
I'm garnishing it with some pistachios
I'm adding some chopped almonds
I'm tapping it a little
Now the cake is ready to bake
I'm placing a big pan or cooker
in a ring
I'm covering it
and preheating it for 7 minutes
7 minutes have passed
I'm carefully lifting it
I'm carefully placing the cake
I'm covering it and letting it cook for 45 minutes
If you are baking it in an oven
then bake it in a preheated oven
for 35 minutes
The cake is ready
Let's demould it
I'm removing it from the sides
with a knife
I'm flipping it
I'm tapping it a little
You can see how easily
the cake has come out
The cake is very soft and spongy
I'm straightening it
The Mango Rava Cake is ready
I'm chopping it
and serving it
It's crispy on the outside
and soft and juicy on the inside
The Mango Rava Cake is ready
You saw how easily we made it
