Highlights: Feyenoord - Almere City FC | Eredivisie 2023/2024

It's classic Dutch summer weather Sometimes a shower sometimes the sun shines brightly again It was half past three Feyenoord is looking for their first victories in the Eredivisie Lots of new things including this first visit to the Kuip The very first official meeting between these two teams New coat Calvin Stengs This will be one of the biggest challenges for Almere in the first weeks of a higher level This much faster pace in the Eredivisie Here goes Timber off he goes Timber passes to Jiménez And there he is in Quick goal Feyenoord Fourth minute the turning away the acceleration And exactly at the right moment the running action initiated by Jiménez It's a beautiful goal inside the post inside You can also see flashes of light above the Kuip and occasional thunderclaps And I think Nijhuis is actually going to stop the ball and say yes let's go inside Want a quick flash and a hit that follows quickly after You can take no risk with that Thunderstorm nearby So the game is temporarily stopped by the referee He can do nothing else in such a situation Investing 7.50 in such a poncho That's not crazy at all Who is someone from Meteoconsult what is that Who is in charge Yes someone who is responsible She has indicated that they are now saying it will take another fifteen minutes And then it's gone Do we have to start a new war again Yes what do you think as a coach Well if you've been sitting for 20 minutes I needed longer Feyenoord-Almere-City resumed After a break A long break It has been almost an hour since the game stopped Duivenstein twice taken for a ride Feyenoord quickly regains possession both consciously and unconsciously Then Almere comes out Duivenstein a fine ballet by Duivenstein And the chance for Almere to make it 1-1 Feyenoord's strong start after the restart Opportunity for Thomas Robine Turn the middle Timber Well played mate Stengs Stengs back Chance for Feyenoord It's going in What a fantastic goal Beautiful attack Where Almere fails to make a 1-1 Feyenoord strikes Excellent goal Coolbloom also gave the Brazilian a round Passion As stated this is the Sofia match The collaboration between Feyenoord and the Erasmus Sofia Children's Hospital Where money is collected Again 10 000 euros every year Fantastic supportive banner from the Almere City supporters Hartman Wiever Gone for good I'd say Jimenez could It could also be on its own Could use a success Well done by Mats Wiever Too bad Dan is next door This extraction from Minte What makes Feyenoord always show nice things In the first 16 minutes of this match In the tight space The smooth turn Then the strike He just had plain bad luck Geertruida Feyenoord easily walks through here Then it's 3-0 here But Almere must be careful that it doesn't become a monster scoring in the Kuip Because it will be very very easy In 19 minutes He is in the space behind Feyenoord's defense That is a good chance Robinek takes position He could walk the ball in you could say But he just can't manage it And that's quite miraculous A second big chance for him He will of course make it Eye to eye with the goal line and the goalpost Next to the goal Minto Feyenoord with 4 players in the 16-meter area Minto with a passing move And a good save The ball is not yet gone It is now Caught by Bakker in the short corner Stenks Taken in one go Now it's a hit for Mats Wiefer And as mentioned that's exactly what he needed 50th minute 4-0 It will last for Mats Wiefer Almost shot from behind Wiefer He would be Timber Gentruida Could he try Out And the pole hit by Lucharelle Gentruida He was close to his second hit This is certainly not a real chance But it is a nice shot Timber is off again Operated by Stenks The block was set by Sauer No infraction Sauer Who is going to shoot Well Well no one is going to shoot But there will be a penalty after a foul on Jiménez He has nowhere to go To your house We lost contact with the Feyenoord striker Therefore A chance to make it 5-0 Concentration Takes a break Santiago Jiménez And so it's 5-0 on the board Timber Jiménez Next opportunity for him Again the rescue of Bakker That can distinguish itself a few times First Eredivisie minutes A beautiful moment always for Zekiel In a home game against Almere he makes his debut Zekiel Naturally the first part of his dream has been fulfilled Making his debut in a full Kuip And now building new dreams Hans Koop Koop is desperately looking for a breakthrough in this race Duivenstein It takes it in between Conductor And there's another honor for Almere This is a great moment for Jochem Ritmeester of the Kap A young man from Laren Timber The latest attack by Feyenoord Oueda can still make it 6- 1 Oueda No Bakker has been the standout player for Almere today He has managed to limit the damage quite effectively With the number of rescues Certainly in the second half It was all over in the first 20 minutes And the last attempt of the match Also This is another goal If the flag remains down for Quinten Timber And so it becomes 6-1 after all These are the numbers that stand It became a bit late this Sunday Due to the thunderstorm interruption Already after 7 minutes He had a bit of a downcast look on Alex Pastoor's face I had expected more from him
