(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Stuttgart - Bochum

Stuttgart and Bochum rivals in the relegation battle last term. An experience neither want to repeat this. Almost a six-pointer on the first day of the season. Philipp Hofmann holding off. Dan-Axel Zagadou to miss very poorly. Bochum might rue their earlier miss. Stuttgart controlling the game now. A brilliant shot from Cyril Giurassi. What a pass from Hiroki Ito. He scored against them last time they met. And he scored again. Fürich gives the signal. Dan-Axel Zagadou gets in front of Bernardo. And Philipp Hofmann. It's as easy as that. A textbook goal puts Stuttgart two up. Poor defending from Bochum. Out of the cup just seven days ago. And now this. Stuttgart can feel that this game is there for the taking. Fürich. Back post. Silas finishes exquisitely. What a brace against them last season in this stadium. And he's made it 3-0 now. Good work from Stenzel. Chops it back. It's Silas. And he's done it again. Another race. Another goal for Stuttgart as Bochum come apart. Still just under 15 minutes to go. And Stuttgart not letting up. Cyril Giurassi sends the Cannstatt curve into ecstasy with Stuttgart's fifth goal of the game. It's all too easy for the home side. Stuttgart seem to have put the trauma of the relegation playoffs well and truly behind them. And they've dismantled a poor Bochum side in the process.
