(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights Frosinone - Napoli

Corner for Frosinone and very nearly an opportunity. Cayuste has taken a chance there and the referee has pointed to the spot. And inside five minutes, Jaime Baez caught. Penalty to Frosinone. Haroui to give Frosinone the lead. Sweetly converted and the perfect possible start for the newly promoted side. Ciuny, Rahmani played the ball and now Napoli have numbers forward. Raspadori, Ossieman in support. Raspadori nearly worked the way of Ossieman. Zielinski's drive and now Politano and it's gone through Turati. Napoli have the leveller and having scored from open play on the opening day of last season, Matteo Politano backs the equaliser here at Frosinone. Zielinski, Cayuste, flag stays down for the moment. Cayuste's cross and Raspadori missed his kick. Politano with the ball back in. Oliveira tried to get there. Raspadori! But the goal has now been disallowed offside the decision. Politano seeking out Di Lorenzo. It's like a runaway train once he gets going. Di Lorenzo, Ossieman! He's back. Napoli needed digging out of a hole, so they turned to last season's Capocannoniere. Raspadori's goal chalked off Ossieman's strike stance and it was bludgeoned home. Jaime Baez with the free kick and it's rattled the woodwork. Meret beaten and Frosinone inches away from levelling. This is Zielinski and Ossieman couldn't pick out the top corner. Rahmani, Di Lorenzo and Ossieman. Can he back his second? He can. It's Napoli's third. And with that, maximum points for the champions surely on the opening weekend. It's Oyono, the right back, just about playing him on. But Cooley slotted home by Victor Ossieman. It's a winning start to their title defence for the Partenopei. Full time here at the Stadio Berito Stirpe, Frosinone 1, Napoli 3.
