Sagyeong: A 1700-year-old Pure Gold Calligraphy

Sagyeong(Sutra)’ is Buddhist ritual of copying Buddhist scriptures.

Kim Gyeong-Ho is Korean Sagyeong Artisan with 40-year career. He considers the sutra to be the practice of refining the body and mind by engraving the Buddha's words one by one in the heart.

He hopes that people will find peace of mind and realize the aesthetics of slowness by looking at the four sutras.

He was designated as Korea's intangible cultural asset last year and spreads the importance and beauty of Korean Buddhist scriptures, which became the basis of world metal and wood printing types.
