Monfils' CRAZIEST Performance Ever?! | Novak Djokovic vs Gael Monfils Toronto 2014 Highlights

Southampton, those two players that they want. Southampton, that's good. Bare bones. Chris Wilkinson, distraught. He's not giving Monfils much, is he? It's a lovely volley. No panic there. Oh yes! What a dig! Yes, very nice. Very clever. Okay, Djokovic. That really got inside his head there, didn't it? So sensible tennis in the end from Djokovic was enough. Top spin. That's lovely tennis. I mean, I had this conversation with Robbie, I think, in Miami. Don't find it comfortable enough. Okay, Djokovic. Superb athleticism there. Beautifully done. Okay, men, first set. Sensational backhand. Djokovic. That's brilliant. Away with that one. A little casual initially. Okay, Djokovic. That's five superb points in a row. They're just out foxing. How good is this? Explosive. It needed to be. It's very tough to knock Djokovic off balance. The precision is simply exquisite. Gael Monfils at his showman best. So you take your lap at your own hands there. He's desperate for the break of serve. Well done. A little bit of swirling going on there as far as the wind is concerned. He's already got it done. Lucky they didn't. It's tennis of the highest order. It's incredible. It's jaw-dropping stuff. Gael Monfils. Passive from Djokovic. No record hit acceleration whatsoever on the forehand. Exquisite. What a set of tennis from Monfils. That is close. It's incredible. Superb tennis. He's such a showman. And what an athlete. Incredible stuff. Mind-boggling. What a get there was. Going the wrong way. And look at this. Full commitment to the cause. This would mean an awful lot to the Frenchman. Guy is so amped, man. What a return that was. Off a superb serve. That's a big dig from Djokovic. And he wants more support here. Time violation. Warning Mr Monfils. Yeah, just took a little too long there. He's going to have a war with the umpire here. But he called time a long time ago. Gerry Armstrong is correct. He has to be fed to both players. 15-0. He's got to forget about it. He's got to move on. Good tennis. Ben Djokovic. Just exceptionally good tennis. Using the wind so intelligently. Oh yes. What a shot. Big time, Chase. What a game. Having to dig exceptionally deep there. Nicely done. A little tentative. That volley. It's very, very difficult here. A drop volley of any sort. Off a high shot. Precise. Game. Djokovic. Great tennis from Djokovic though. No missed. A couple of volleys there. Continued to come forwards. Draw the air up from Monfils. That's a sensible smash. That was the right shot at the right time. It was well up the court. Correction. The ball is good. Correction. Djokovic could challenge this. Yes. That'll do it. What a way to finish. A superb effort that. Fantastic match. Full of drama and excitement. But it's Djokovic who seals the win. In fine style. But a much better tie-break than the Frenchman. Having got a little tight in the second set tie-break. All that he cares about is getting the win. And living to fight another day. Top seed is safely through. 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 in 2 hours 40 minutes.
