Highlights: Manchester United - RC Lens | Friendly Match 2023

Old Trafford for Manchester United, Rhys Samba, a name that you may know knocking around English football. Leaning out, his grassing club, long side, onto the Old Trafford turn. Rashford, Rashford doesn't... Squares, is it Mason Mount? Mason Mount's first goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United. The timing is so strong. Towards the penalty area, checks onto his right foot, gets it across, finds Mount. Mount with the strike, looping! Over the top, deflection corner. Good chance, good break again. The ball of Bruno for Garageot. Again, that's exactly what you want. This chipped effort is going to be really close. Oh, what a goal! Manchester United are behind. And it's come from absolutely nowhere, a speculated, chipped effort. United 0-1. Well, that's the only problem when you play that way. If you do give the ball away like Deleuze has done, it's the only option really. It's a great finish. That's going to be stolen by Garageot. Takes a brilliant touch, and now Manchester United are out of the way. Can he find an option in the middle? Can he go on his own? Garageot with the effort! Oh, it's over the top. Garageot. Absolutely fantastic. From the young Argentinian. That is such a long ball as well, nodded down. Comes to Bruno Fernandes, first-back ball to Garageot. Inside the penalty area. Garageot! Comes out to Anthony. Oh, it's over the top, Anthony. He's gone out for a corner, somebody's got something on him on the way through. It's a good block. I think he tripped over his own shoelaces. Here comes the ball into Marcus Rashford. Rashford with the chance! Rashford with the goal! And the striker ends business as usual for Marcus Rashford. United 1-1-1. It's a great ball. It really is absolutely, perfectly weighted from Anthony. Gets the deflection, takes it over the keeper's legs. But even so, Marcus is off and running. Here comes Krakowski, down the right-hand side. Great control. 3-on-2 for Manchester United. Garageot gets it across to Anthony. Heavy touch, but can he finish? Of course he can! And the striker ends, and Manchester United are the double. United 2-1-1. What a move. That's totally sublime. As I said first off, no backwards stepping in. Here comes the cross, and it comes down for Marcus Rashford! Or is it Casemiro who's got the final touch? I think it's Marcus. I think it's come off Varane, is it? Onto Marcus. Absolutely brilliant. Casemiro taking plaudits too. One of them. Right, we're gonna have to go to a video replay to sort out who's got it. United won't care, they lead 3-1. Tell you what, you won't get it off me. Casemiro just gets caught on the ball. He'll be with that too. It's an opportunity. Scooped effort. Oh, what a save! And now on the run for the cameras. Backpedalling, dives away to his left-hand side, turns it round the corner for a corner. Was that for the cameras that run? No, I think it's a good save.
